Long before Harry Potter and Voldemort were sworn enemies, before Albus Dumbledore became one of the most powerful wizards of our time, before Hogwarts was anything more than a distant and little-used word, let alone a school of magic, wizards and witches around the world were being persecuted for their beliefs. The world was in a constant state of fear and tension, more dangerous with each passing day. From this treacherous world came a new hope for the survival of wizardkind.
