Ginny finds Harry in compromising position. She couldn’t believe that he’d do that to her after she waited for him for a year. Harry, in turn, couldn’t believe that she thought he’d cheat on her after everything he did so they could have a safe future together. But how can he convince her when she won’t even talk to him?
When friends and professors warn him of his downward spiral, Harry focuses in on the N.E.W.T.s and hopes that Ginny will come around eventually. Will giving her space bring her back to him? Only time will tell.
Gwenyth Mattix was beginning to lose all hope of ever finding her mother. She renewed her search in the last year, determined to succeed this time. This was originally written for the Winter Writers Duel 2013. It is prompt #4. I've decided to turn it into a short story.
As the only Potter or Weasley to not be in Gryffindor, Lily sometimes feels distant from her family. This isn't helped by the housemates who rudely tease her about it. To her surprise, comfort comes from an unlikely source. Her brothers don’t like that she seeks support from Scorpius - not only because he’s a Malfoy, but also because it means that they aren’t enough.
However, Lily isn’t the only one who faces censure. Can they band together to solve the bigger problem or will their differences get in the way?
