When I reach my flat, I almost land straight on my ass when I realise James Potter is already waiting for me there.

“Fuck!” I mumble under my breath and turn around trying to go back without him noticing.

“I saw you!” he calls after me and I stop mid-escape.

Just when I’m about to grab the door knob and step out in the backyard, the door opens and Louis walks into the house. I stop as if someone has stupefied me. James and his entire family stop behind me.

Louis is standing at the door staring at me in complete shock. “Lizzie?” he asks. “What are you doing here?” 

“Happy Christmas, Henry.” I say with a smile.

“Oh I don’t know about it being happy, but it sure as hell will be one for the stories.” He says still staring and the baby bump.

“Isn’t it always?”

 “Why though?” he asks as he spins me around gently. “Why’d you do it?”

“Do what?” I ask and he laughs bitterly.

“Do James.”

Louis Weasley, the nephew of famous Harry Potter, was seen last night at the Ministry’s New Year’s Ball with his former girlfriend back from Hogwarts days, Elizabeth Nelson. Louis and Elizabeth were, let’s remember, together for two years before they mysteriously separated six years ago.
