“We’re not coming to bail you out when some Muggle cop arrests you and throws you in jail,” Lily said as she raised an eyebrow. Not that they’d need it... she was certain neither James nor Sirius were against Obliviating a Muggle.
“I’m just supposed to get better?” Sirius shouted as he shot up, though he didn’t make a move toward James.
James took a breath, and tried to drown out the symphony of excited questions and laughter floating through the room. Not that it wasn't brilliant-- hearing all his friends laugh and talk was like music to his ears.
Lily wasn’t prepared when the nearly hundred pounds of wet, muddy animal launched himself at her, paws on her shoulders as he knocked them both to the ground.
