This is where the story begins of the retaking of England and the role Ana Lucia Cortez had to play in it.
Deaths and Meetings
After the death of a beloved friend, Ana attends a session of the council in Godric's Hollow.
Fidgeting restlessly, Ana turned to Hermione and whispered, “How much longer?”
“It’s a risky maneuver,” murmured Hermione. “Is it worth it?”
I stepped off of the small landing craft onto a small dock. I had arrived in Berwick to begin the invasion. The town had been secured and the army was forming. We weren’t expecting heavy resistance but we were ready to fight.
The Battle of Chestnut Hill
Our lines were frayed and starting to crumble. Magi and muggles alike were fighting and dying next to each other. Smoke and dust covered the battlefield and was illuminated eerily by gunfire and the lights from spells. The flank had already been decimated and was falling back to the main line.
Preparations for Diplomacy
“We must send out ambassadors as quick as possible then,” pointed out Ginny.
Battle In The Sky
I had woken up a week ago in Berwick with Hermione anxiously hovering over me. She had informed me that we were leaving in a week for America. I didn’t really have a say in the matter, as the council were the ones who had decided to send me.
The Escape From Sunderland
“Well played,” said a silky voice behind them.
The American Ministry
Putting a winning smile on her face, Hermione stepped forward and walked down the stairs. I trailed a couple of steps behind her.
The Heart of the United States
“Behold the Washington Monument, the heart of the United States of America,” announced Turner proudly.
