Someday someone will come to tell you what I did, and you’ll realize that all along I was doing what you wanted me to do- ensuring that our family would, in some small way, be marked in history. Someday you’ll know.

I suppose I have no right to call you by your first name, but it feels incredibly awkward attaching a ‘missus’ to that name.
