They had known they shouldn’t be in love but they couldn’t help it…and now it had to end. Areli turned back to him and took in a deep breath.
Hermione Grangers first year - 2nd May
Some strange part of him was feeling excited, excited about May 2nd next year when he would see Granger again and their entire relationship would change…again.
She let her gaze linger at the Slytherin table to see if Malfoy was there and if there was any point in even going to this stupid room that made her feel all strange and slightly light headed. He wasn’t there. She let out an aggravated sigh and stamped her foot on the ground like a child. She might be fourteen but she did not want to follow this light and she most definitely didn’t want to go and meet Draco Malfoy!
“Watch it Weasley,” Draco snapped pushing the red head out of his way and going to continue walking but as he cast his eyes over the small group he caught the eye of Hermione who again had blushed red.
She had almost told Ginny once. When Draco had held a door open for her not thinking and Ginny had looked so shocked Hermione was sure she would feint. Of course both realised their mistake and Draco had tripped her up in the doorway to make sure his precious reputation wasn’t ruined but Hermione had seen; she had known that it was him wanting to be good to her.
