James gawked after her before turning an equally confused Sirius. “Geez, what’s gotten into the women at Hogwarts?”

“I’m going to give you a choice, Montgomery, either you shape up or you can find yourself new mates.” His voice was full of cold fury.
God Must Hate Me
Time for that Saturday night detention
It Just Takes Time
This left Sirius and Emily alone in comfortable silence. “Well,” he told her with a waggle of his eyebrows, “It looked like I get you all alone again.”
Losing A Friend
“What do you mean? Did Gray hit you?” he sounded outraged, though he had never really been overly fond of her.
“Lily, why is Emily grinning to herself?” Alice asked as they made it to the Gryffindor portrait hole.
Hail to the Victors
“I might have told him that Lily agreed to come to the victory party tonight,” she told her, her grin turning to a little smirk.
Sirius shook his head, “Nah, I wouldn’t do any damage. Wouldn’t want to hurt that pretty face after all. Besides the only thing she’d do is get over herself and jump me the way she’s wanted to for weeks now.”
Right Kind of Wrong
“So you’re the yin to my yang, huh?” she inquired with a small smile.
“Because then you would be spending the rest of year in detention,” she pointed out.
“Merlin, Emily, where did all this cheek come from?” he demanded. “I’m just trying to look out for your wellbeing.”
“Just because some of us aren’t as vocal about our issues doesn’t mean we don’t have,” she retorted.
The Morning After
“Not Evans, I’m talking about Emily,” he retorted, more gruffly than intended.
Encounters, smirking, McGonagall, protective Marauders, threats of entrail covered Great Hall walls and Jack Ernst.
