Spells were being thrown every which way, each person trying to hit their opponent. Anger had filled the atmosphere. Everyone wanted revenge for their loss, for their great loss.
"He had no other family, and he needed a mother figure in his life.”
“I’m terribly worried,” Mrs. Weasley said.
The stool next to hers scraped across the floor. Opening her eyes, she looked over and saw a tall man with light blonde hair and gray, cold eyes.
“I expect, then, you’ll be on people’s nerves in no time.”
Draco watched her, his hand staying still on her neck. Ginny’s eyes had started to slowly close. Her face was inches apart from Draco’s, her warm breath rushing against his lips.
The more that she looked at him, the more attractive he seemed to be. She could see the lines that started to etch his face. Moving her eyes to his grey blue ones indicated that his eyes seemed to be tiresome, or longing for something.
"Kingsley believes, as do I, that there’s going to be trouble coming with the new student that is transferring from Durmstrang. McGonagall had told Kingsley as soon as she found out. Apparently, this boy is a descendant from Grindelwald."
“It’d be no different than if it were you…we don’t know whether we’re going to make it out… I just want you to know though; I want you to be happy. If I don’t make it, I want you to move on and be happy. Live your life for you, and do what makes you happy.”
McGonagall nodded, “I will be keeping in touch, Miss Weasley. Get well soon.”
"Word of advice though?” he asked as he smiled at her. She looked away from the papers and at him, waiting for his response. “You should let your guard down. Not everyone in the world is out to hurt you.”
She heard people running towards the spot she was just recently at, yelling spells as a roar belted out. Opening her eyes, she saw Alin looking down at her, worry etched on his face. She blinked a couple times, trying to get her bearings. About to ask what had happened, Charlie rushed over and asked, “Are you two alright?”
“I want to be with you.... I love you."
"So, are you taking him to Bill and Fleur's on Sunday?"
"You've replaced Harry...," Ron said quietly, his eyes looking down at the floor.
As for McGonagall, she leaned forward with her rare smile upon her face. “Welcome back, Miss Weasley.”
“If it isn’t the wittle girl who had her dear ol’ mummy defeat me,” Bellatrix said to her, her voice high, and her mouth in a snarl.
“There’s something about that girl that just isn’t right…. Now, if I could just put my finger on it…"
"And you’ll be Auntie Ginny, and so much of a part of his or her life!” Hermione gushed, her grin not relaxing.
"My heart still aches for him as yours does for Harry. I actually find you very lucky, Miss Weasley.”
“You want to go to your class? Then go. You go teach them whatever it is you need to teach them, and you do what you need to. If everything that I do for you isn’t what you want, then I’m done trying."
“Well, I’m sure you’re busy. I’ll let you go. I just wanted to say thank you,” she said as she turned away.
“Well I’m still alive, Ron! I’ve been to hell and back, and I’ll be DAMNED if you ruin this!” Ginny screamed, her tears no longer coming.
“Excuse me?” Bolton questioned as he turned around quickly to face her, his eyes boring into hers.
Ginny looked at Hermione, as she stayed silent, slow tears rolling down her cheeks. Eventually, Hermione looked up at Ginny, her fingertips brushing away her tears. “It’s okay, Ginny. I’m just being a bad, selfish friend.
“I know you know everything by now. I saw Shacklebolt make his way towards here. What happens from here? Are you going to go back on everything?”
“Thank you,” Ginny smiled as she let out a relieved sigh. “I really do appreciate it, Mrs. Malfoy.”
“What is it, Hermione? Tell me,” Ginny prodded.
"I wanted to fight anything I was feeling for you, but the love I have for you wouldn’t go away. Even the pain you caused doesn’t diminish an ounce of what I feel for you.
That was something she would never forgive herself for, and something he would probably never forgive her for.
