Instead of just four marauderes, there were five: James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and last, but not least, Abigail Wright.
Hogwarts – Starting of a New Year
Abbie didn't respond, her mind blank. He watched her, curosity coursing through his mind on what was reeling through hers. Her light, green eyes softened, and he said, "You know...you have gorgeous eyes."
The Guys' Dorm and Games
"Who in this room, do you think would be a bad date?"
Pillow Fights and Big Feathered Chickens
Without even a heads up an image came to her head of Sirius in honey and feathers. “What a great chicken he would make…probably the tallest yet,” she thought as she started laughing once again. Coming back from “Absie Land,” as her friends liked to call it and she couldn’t take the silence any longer.
Taking the Courage
Abbie looked around and noticed that the Hall was almost empty. She looked at them, a serious look on her face. “I’ve lied to you guys.” They each had a confused face, and she sighed.
The New Professor
"Well I do possess the power of magic; I am a wizard Miss Wright."
Writing on the Wall
“There you go Prongs.”
Nothing like a First Kiss
"This must be serious…,” he said, concern etching on his face.
“Didn’t think it would happen so quickly,” James said nonchalantly. Sirius looked at him with a questioning look. “He told me yesterday that he liked her. That’s how we got on about the wall in the bathroom.” Sirius didn’t reply which caused James to look at him curiously. “What are all the questions for Padfoot? You usually don’t care.”
The last thing she remembered was the pain that she felt when his teeth sunk into her, near her hip bone, and then hearing hooves and growls.
Bite Marks, Hatred, and Plans
“I came to see if my daughter was alright. Is that not okay?” He questioned with a thickness in his voice.
Halloween and Surprises
“Abbie, listen to me. It doesn’t matter that you love those nights. It doesn’t matter that you want to help. All that matters is that you’re safe…and you aren’t safe when you’re around me in that hideous form.” He sighed and looked at her, “I know this is terrible to do…but you must. You need to make a choice Abbie. You either don’t go on the full moon…or we can’t be together anymore….”
Quidditch and Talks
He nodded as she leaned in and kissed him goodbye. “I love you Abbie.” Abbie looked at him, her eyes wide, her hand gripping his harder than before. Her stomach seemed to dropped as her heart began to beat wildly.
Apologies and a Kiss
Abbie then looked up, her eyes throwing daggers at him. “Are you bloody mental? We’re best mates. I’m with Remus… What the bloody hell is wrong with you?!”
“Wait a minute… Reg, how would you know what he’s planning? You’d have to be a -,” Abbie stopped suddenly, her mouth gaping and her eyebrows lifted as she watched him turn away.
Play and Attack
Abbie turned around after hearing his voice, “The enemy has been spotted! ATTACK!”
Expulsion and Near Death Experiences
“This isn’t the first time I’ve been in here Remus. Me and this bed, and even Poppy, have become very well known to each other,” Abbie chuckled.
James stepped on the last step, his foot stepping on something. He looked down and saw the golden charm bracelet. He bent down and picked it up, gulping slightly as he saw the blood that covered it.
“I will be fathering a child. I am more than eager for someone to share the legacy with."
“Can you believe it’s our last night here?” Remus questioned.
Erased but Never Forgotten
Tears started to roll down her cheeks again as she looked up at James and shook her head. “I passed a p-pile of newspapers and saw the f-f-front p-page….,” she trailed, swallowing hard as her body shook.
Behind the Mask
Shaking his head, he responded, “As much as I’d love to, I’ll never be able to have a new life. Not a life that would be worth living, anyhow. I would have to live in hiding, and to me, it’s just not worth it. I’m doing something that needs to be done so everyone else now, and in the future, can have a better life.”
“I have a feeling that for the first time, I’m actually going to have a home…,” she said softly as the smile on her face became bigger.
“I know you don’t want to talk about things, and you don’t want to listen. I’m going to sit here and wait for you…. I just wanted you to know that no matter what, I will always be here for you.”
“You know I’d be more then happy to, but I think it’s safer for you two, and Harry, if you didn’t choose me. I’d only put you in more danger seeing as they’d be the first one they looked for in telling you. You should go with someone they wouldn’t expect right away.”
