Ch. # Chapter Title Word Count Reviews
    1 Waking Up To Lace

“Well what about that seeker of theirs, Rose Weasley?”

“Nah, Scorp can beat her, right?”

Scorpius didn’t get a chance to reply.

“Well, duh! She’s a girl!”  One of the peppy second-years said.

Scorpius permitted himself a glance over at the Gryffindor table just in time to see Rose glaring at their table, also looking slightly hurt.  He especially noticed that it wasn’t him who she looked at. She never looked at him.

2 Chapter 2: Spin The Bottle

His feelings for her were off limits, and unpredictable. Dangerous. He knew it would just be harder to…deal with it if he got closer to her.  So he had devised a plan: No talking to Rose, no looking at Rose, no flirting with Rose, no following Rose around.

3 The Catch and Crossing the Line

But then something else happened. Two bludgers flew at Rose from behind and with a loud crack; they hit her. She fell from her broom, unconscious. The crowds screamed, the snitch forgotten. She was falling faster and faster, spiraling towards the ground.

4 Kissing in Closets and a Moonlight Swim

Saving Rockfeller was a pretty decent thing to do…she was surprised at Malfoy. Maybe I’ll tell him that was decent, and next time won’t be so awkward.  Rose turned around and said, “That was fairly decent.” In one breath, but he was gone.  Rose stared in confusion out the door, where he was no where to be seen. How did he get out so quickly? What a weird guy…

    5 The Herbology Class

And that was really weird, how he acted today! He had saved her in the lake, and then he brushed off all her apologies? Did she do something wrong? When he had touched her elbow in the lake…no, any normal person would’ve done that.

She felt like they had skipped the normal part in a friendship (Hello, how are you, what’s your name, what classes are you taking, etc.) and had skipped right to…right to where?

    6 Dark Blue

“Thanks, I wasn’t watching where I was going.” Rose said, suddenly uncomfortably aware of the fact that she hadn’t washed her hair today and that she was wearing a baggy sweater with a stain on it.

“I assumed.” He said, nodding and still looking confused.

“Lost in thought…” Rose elaborated, a florid tinge creeping up to her cheeks.

She just stared at him. He stared right back at her. What an ass.

    7 The Snowflake Ball

Rose turned her head to look at him; now that her eyes were adjusted she could make out his profile, highlighted by the stars. She saw the bridge of his nose, his round bottom lip, his square jaw. He turned to look at her, the corners of his lips lifting slightly.

    8 Illegal Empathy

A cool wave of paranoia swept over Rose as he spoke. His voice sounded exactly the same as the mystery guy. Of course. But, as a teenager, didn’t most male voices sound pretty much the same? If Rose hadn’t been thinking about it, would she have even noticed how similar the voices were?

9 There's No Place Like Christmasland

“Yes, Rose." Nana Molly said. "Is there anything the matter?”
Hmm. Well, honestly, yes. There is something the matter. I think I’ve done something with someone that my parents might possibly disown me for if they ever find out. You know Scorpius Malfoy, the son of your all time enemy? Yeah, well we’re friends now, so we tell each other our deepest insecurities and dance together at balls instead of dancing with our dates.

10 Walk of Blood and Onions

Rose spun around, knife in hand. She knew that voice. Vision couldn’t deceive her anymore.
“Malfoy?!” She exclaimed, at the same time as he exclaimed, “Weasley?!”
Her knife clattered to the ground. His mouth was open, his eyes wide with surprise.

“What are you doing here?” She blurted.
    He closed his mouth.

    “I live here, actually.”

    11 Falling Is Leaping

He had moved away, too far away to touch, which bothered Rose.  She wanted to touch him. Her breathing sounded ragged in her ears.

His chest was rising and falling too, his hair in wild disarray, his eyes closed tightly. His hands were in fists.

“Oh.” He brought a hand to the back of his neck and looked at her. Ah, he was so beautiful.

    12 Psychoanalysis Spiralisis

Glancing up to make sure no one was watching, she carefully ripped the top of the package open.

It was her clothes, and….one sock.

A hysterical laugh caught in her throat.

Was this an apology? There was no note.

Or was he just trying to return her clothes, and be done with closet girl?

13 The Inherent Danger of Snowy Alleys

His jaw was clenched, and she could tell that his hands, resting in his pockets, were curled into fists. Something flashed across his face, a brief moment of vulnerability, uncertainty, regret, and then it was gone, and his eyes had become hard once again.
