I turned to see Henry was stationed next to me, smiling. But it was not the usual wickedly mischievious grin and it did not reach his eyes. But it was slightly amused. He looked even more handsome up close. It was devistating. The sprinkle of freckles smattered across his perfectly angled nose made him look almost innocent. His eyes were not there usual glittering spectical. They were tight and cautious for inexplicable reasons. Something was slightly off about him. Something was not quite right since the last encounter I'd suffered.
"...It was pitched black out the window, so I could see nothing. I didn't even have the countryside racing by to occupy mind. I could only listen to the rain battering the roof of the carriage. I didn't like being able to hear and not see. It made me feel oddly vulnerable...."
