Prologue: The Beginning
A girl is born around nineteen to those who aren't the same....As her fourteenth year of life begins, she will learn more of her future and past....More power is given to her than of that belonging to most of the powerful....She will be the only one who can determine how the second war will end at last.
Chapter One: Fourteen Years Later
"Like who?" I asked cautiously. "Well, like Emma and her group of friends, Melanie and her group of friends, the football team and all those kind of guys, and Ryan and his friends," She said as if it was no big deal. "RYAN'S GOING?"
Chapter Two: An Unexpected Guest
"What's going on? And where's Brad?" I asked, going into a panicked state. I sure hope I wasn't about to have a panic attack. "He's frozen, just like everyone else," Lindsay said in a tone that implied hopelessness. "Good evening ladies. I see you have noticed the effects of my spell," A voice said from behind us.
Chapter Three: Letter of Acceptance
"Hmm..." I thought to myself. "Okay! You can come in now." "We can't, you've barricaded the door," My father noted. "And whose fault is that?" I asked."Yours," My parents said in unison. "See, that's where you are wrong, because it is your fault for making me angry in the first place," I said, jumping down from my bed and moving all the furniture back where it should be.
Chapter Four: Off To Diagon Alley
"What about me?" I asked, not having gotten one. He hadn't even called me up to get measured for one. I mean, yeah, I had lived a muggle life up until this point but that didn't mean I shouldn't get a wand. "Miss Williams, you do not require the use of a wand," Mr. Ollivander said, his moon-like eyes peering at me. "Why not?" I was really confused. "I'm guessing you'll find that out this year," Ollivander said mysteriously.
Chapter Five: On Our Way To Hogwarts
Just then, I tripped over my own two feet and collided into someone else, both of us falling to the ground. Weirdly enough, the way we fell, I ended up on the bottom. "I am so sorry," I said, looking at the person I had caused to fall. He had messy, jet black hair, bright emerald green eyes which were framed with round glasses and a vivid scar in the shape of a lightning bolt. It could be...but it was. "It's fine, it was my fault really," He said in the cutest British accent with an amused look on his face.
Chapter Six: The Sorting Ceremony
What did it mean? I had a big future ahead of me? I was going to have difficult choices to make? There's a big difference coming into my life that I'm strong enough to handle? I'm actually going to take risks for what I feel is right? None of this sounded like me. I was pretty outgoing, but I usually didn't take that many risks, and tried to keep it easy going. I had enough stress in my life, why couldn't I just go through the rest of my adolescent life in peace?
Chapter Seven: The First Day
He made Harry try about six more time before he finally let someone else try. Harry hobbled over to where I was sitting and sat down beside me, looking utterly exhausted. "Looks like we're the only two who can fight it so far," Harry said. I guess so, Defense Against the Dark Arts Buddy," I said, making him laugh.
Chapter Eight: Halloween
I could feel the room spinning more and more with each second, everything going out of focus. "Emily, I'm going to send for help," Someone said, but I couldn't tell who it was. "Mhmm," I answered lazily. "Emily, can you hear me? Can you hear me?" A distant voice said. It sounded like it was coming from miles away, but that's the last thing I remember hearing before everything went black.
Chapter Nine: Changes and Detention
Where was I? What happened? And why was it so freakin' dark?! Ohmigod, maybe I was dead! I was too young to die! All these thoughts, and unfortunately even more ran through my head as my eyes fluttered open. Well, that explains why it was so dark.
Chapter Ten: Wannabe
"Yup, I know. It's a very sexy costume though," I said, playing with my now extra long hair. Harry looked like he was trying to get comfortable, but obviously couldn't with my body sprawled out everywhere. "Oh yes, it really is," He said, laughing as I sat up. "You move up here, and I'll just lie on top of you," I said as he sat down at the top of his bed. I put my head into his lap so I was looking up at him. "I have two things to tell you. One is that you have very nice skin," I said, making him laugh.
Chapter Eleven: Might Fall Back Down Again
"It wasn't that great," I said, awkwardly ruffling my hair. "Don't be modest, Harry! You are absolutely marvelous!" She exclaimed, making some more hand gestures. I looked into those beautiful, light green eyes of hers and something just came over me - I couldn't help it anymore. I had my hands resting on her hips, her arms now lightly hanging on my shoulders and I just started to lean in when-
Chapter Twelve: All It Took
"There has to be some way to solve it," Ginny said. "You're right," I said, nodding like I had seen the light of the situation. As if. "I'll get fat, move to a country with lots of other fat people, and start watching for UFO's." "And you say I'm the drama queen?" Emilie asked, giving me a look.
Chapter Thirteen: The Yule Ball
"I've been meaning to ask you something, but well, err...I wasn't sure how," Harry said, awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "Okay," I said. I really didn't know what would happen next, and that was a bit unsettling for me. "Well, I'm still not sure how to say this so...here," Harry said, holding out a small box wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper. "Thanks," I took it from his hands and looked at it. What was it and why was it so important?
Chapter Fourteen: It's A New Year
"Are you serious?" She asked just as Harry had started rubbing my thigh and massaging it. "Yeah," I answered, feeling my cheeks start to grow hot. "Little fast, don't you think?" She asked. "Eh, not really. I mean, we've been really delicious French fries for quite a bit of time now," I answered. "Oh, I feel the same with Carlos the butterfly," Emilie said, glancing at her boyfriend who was sitting beside her.
Chapter Fifteen: Nineteen Questions
"Okay..." Harry said, giving me a quick kiss on the lips. "Come here and lay down." "WHAT?!" I asked him, giving him the oddest look. Of course my mind had gone into the gutter and was thinking dirty thoughts. Very dirty thoughts. "Just do it," He said, laughing at me. I guess he had a pretty good idea what I was thinking. "You'll regret it if you don't."
Chapter Sixteen: Valentine's Day
"Emily, I just have to say that it's the cutest thing ever, no matter what other people are saying," Parvati said once she and Lavender had come up to where I was sitting. "What is? And what are people saying?" I asked, very confused. See, normally I don't care about what people say about me but this was just getting out of hand. "You really don't know?" Lavender gasped as if it were the biggest scandal to hit this school, which, knowing my luck it probably was.
Chapter Seventeen: Cheating and Photographs
I walked around, trying to find the source. I opened the door to an empty classroom where it seemed to be coming from, just to see who it was. And that's when my jaw dropped. Shana was being cheated on.
Chapter Eighteen: The Contest
"Mom says to hurry up so we can get going," Allie said as she walked backstage to where we all were. And of course, being as lucky as I am (note the sarcasm), Harry and I were being all lovey dovey. He had his arms around my waist and my arms were around his neck, talking quietly to each other and occasionally kissing. "What are you doing?" Allie asked as Harry and I quickly separated.
Chapter Nineteen: The Second Task
"I don't know what you mean!" "Your Sunshine!" Dobby practically yelled in my face. Well he had certainly stepped out of his shell. That's when it finally clicked inside my head. That's why McGonagall wanted her! She was my treasure! Not my broomstick or my invisibilty cloak like I had thought, but my girlfriend! That made perfect sense now! Well, except for the fact that Dobby knew my secret nickname for Emily, but that didn't bother me that much.
Chapter Twenty: Some New Information
"Hem hem." "Go away," I murmured against Harry's lips. "Look, I don't mind that two of my best friends are dating, but when you guys start snogging in front of me, that's when I draw the line," Hermione said as we separated, both of us giving her dirty looks.
Chapter Twenty-One: Pranks
"What are you four up to?" Harry asked, coming up to where we were pressed against the wall. "Nothing," We all said at one, smiling innocently at him which in all honesty was probably more creepy than innocent. "The plan has been compromised, abort mission," Lindsay stage whispered loud enough for Harry to hear. Not! Do it now! She said using her mind powers. We all began running around the place, spraying every guy in sight with marshmallow perfume.
Chapter Twenty-Two: The Third Task
The stands were soon filled with everyone's chatter as we all waited patiently for a champion to be transported back. But I started getting this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, telling me one thing and one thing only. Something was deadly wrong.
Chapter Twenty-Three: Remember
There were a lot of voices. Very loud voices. Goodness gracious! What does a girl have to do to get some sleep around here?
Chapter Twenty-Four: A New Adventure
"So I've called you here for a specific reason. As you are probably aware of, we are starting the Order of the Phoenix back up," Dumbledore said and I nodded. "We would like you to join us."
