She spotted her cousin immediately talking (but in Hermione’s opinion, it was flirting with the way Annabel was battering her eyelashes and tossing her hair) to a tall boy with white blond hair who was dressed in all black.

He looks strangely familiar, Hermione thought, frowning to herself. Where have I seen him before? 

And then it hit her.

“Forbidden love, hey?” asked Mrs Granger, removing her arm from Hermione’s shoulder and stirring the sauce into the meat. “Makes the movie interesting, doesn’t it?”

“I suppose, but personally I wouldn’t go mucking around with someone who I wasn’t allowed to be with,” Hermione replied, getting plates out of the cupboard.

“Oh, Hermione, since when is true love forbidden? As long as they were completely and head-over-in-heels in love with one another, it’s not forbidden is it?”

“Have you ever asked a guy out? And I mean those who go to your school.”

“No,” answered Hermione truthfully.

“Really? Not even Draco Malfoy?”

“Annabel, I’ve already told you and I’ll tell you again, me and Malfoy aren’t friends.”

First day of classes and many things annoy Draco while Hermione is top of class as usual...and there is some eye gazing moments...

The girls take a trip to Hogsmeade and who will Hermione take to the ball?

It's time to take to the dance floor where hearts will be made, hearts will be broken and jealousy feelings will take place. Where can you get this much excitement? Only at the most anticapated event of the story...THE WINTER BALL!!!

Christmas Day! Draco and Hermione have a little chat about their feelings while Harry recieves an important present from Felicity. And Draco recieves a present from his late mother...

Draco and Hermione spend some quality time together while their friends and other students get suspicious of their behaviour.

She sat alone on a bench, playing some sort of instrument, singing softly to herself. Her hair flowed graciously round her shoulders and seemed to glow in the sun a bit, the colours in her hair lighting up. Her fingers moved in a fast motion up and down the instrument, but she seemed to not notice where they were going as she had her eyes closed.

How does she do that? Draco wondered as he cautiously approached her, knowing that if he sprung up on her suddenly, she wouldn’t be too happy about it and probably wouldn’t help him.

He sighed, wishing she would actually look at him while he was talking to her. He had to get her attention.

“Hermione, what’s going on between you and Malfoy?” he asked, his tone deadly serious.

Hermione swung round, very surprised he had asked that question. She hadn’t expected that. What did he know?

“Why did you have to wear that?” he asked, pointing at the Invisibility Cloak Harry was holding up. “It’s so weird talking to someone you can’t see.”

“Because I’m not supposed to be out of bed at this hour,” said Harry, rolling his eyes. “You as Head Boy would know that and you’re supposed to be punishing me for being out of my dormitory.”

“Hey, you have a good reason to be out of bed,” Draco said, pointing his wand at Harry. “You’re helping me protect Hermione.”
