Chapter One - So it Begins
Lucius and the other Death Eaters bowed. “Your message will be delivered to the Dark Lord.” He said. Obviously finished with the conversation, the vampire had led the defenseless boy over to the couch and had sat him on the floor. None of them knew whether or not she had heard him. Bowing once again, all four left the room, closing the door behind them; their hoods once again drawn over their faces. Behind them, a muffled scream of pain erupted from number ‘15’.
Chapter Two - Monster
As soon as she lifted her head from the pillow, she was attacked with a whole army of senses. Where once she couldn’t see through the darkness, she saw everything as if the sunlight was shining through the curtains. She was acutely aware of new smells, potions and other assortments of apothecary items that filled her nostrils. And faintly, but become steadily louder, several voices could be heard conversing quietly some meters away.
Chapter Three - Head Girl
The halls were filled with shadows, each one spreading from the windows onto the walls across from them. She could see Hagrid’s hut from where she stood. The windows were glowing warmly. She could see Hagrid’s large form move across one of the windows, Fang’s shadow following him. She stopped and rested her head against the cool stained glass, looking out at the grounds. The glass felt good against her cheek, calming her. A flicker of movement caught her eye.
Chapter Four - Friends? Part One
Tears came to her eyes as she looked at the marks the Vampire had left on her body. The two fang marks would forever mar her skin, showing that she was now one of their kind. Marking her as one of their own. She would never be able to wear clothes that showed her neck, unless she cast a Glamour charm; but some people who were strong in magic would still be able to see them. She would never be able to go a day without wanting to bite some unsuspecting person.
Chapter Four - Friends? Part Two
She raised a nail to her lips and began to chew furiously on it as she stood just outside of the Great Hall, listening to the students inside talk loudly amongst themselves. Several voices could be heard calling out to each other from different tables, while others were merely laughing and regaling stories of their summer vacations. Malfoy stood off to her left looking out at the pouring rain. He had not spoken a word to her since they had been at the Hogsmede station.
