The War is finally over and today marked the one month anniversary of a true trooper. Join Lily as she goes through a pain which she would never have thought imaginable.
Its been a summer of terror for Nymphadora Tonks as she finally goes back to school. Saying goodbye to her beloved is hard but sitting through the welcome feast is worse especially as thoughts about the passing war cannot leave her head.
A week has passed since Lily ran from Grimmauld Place but nothing has changed. Today is her first day at work and to say she was nervous would be an understatement. As everything reminds her of Harry, she gets to grips with getting her life back on track and meets some interesting people at the same time.
Another day teaching for Tonks as she experiences the true horrors of first years. When she discovers some bad news from Severus, she rushes home, only to find that Lily has some news.
More and more emergencies are sent in to St Mungo’s as Lily gets to know Emily and John. She finally tells Remus that she wants to move out and she too, discovers about the attacks.
Tonks isn’t feeling too good as Minerva makes a rash decision. As news of more attacks on the ministry come in - Tonks begins to remember the Final Battle and her life with Remus before now. As she tries to teach - she finds herself remembering things that may have been best forgotten.
A talk with Minerva leads Lily back to old grounds as she gets to know a certain patients son. Trying to move out is nearly impossible with Minerva’s plans but witnessing an arguments which evokes certain feelings makes Lily even more determined than before.
Tonks, her relationship is getting her down. She’s had an offer which is tempting to take up but her loyalty is strong. Her first mission for the new Order is remarkably dangerous but to no avail. However an afternoon with Lily is just what she needed, but perhaps not what the redhead needed.
The unpleasant surprise leaves Lily back at square one. Feeling depressed, she throws herself into work and surprisingly bonds with Emily. When a memory tips her over the edge, she just lets go. Can the cause of her pain help her?
