She wanted to get out of this house, she loved her parents dearly, but Hogwarts was her home. Something about the haunted halls and dwelling secrets was so inviting to her. She flopped back down onto her bed, covering her eyes and letting out a small groaning noise. She turned over and looked at her clock, 7:45 illuminated the room in bright red letters, causing Lily to smack her palm to her head.
"Shut up!" She yelled as the compartment fell silent. "Do you hear-" Suddenly the train lurched fiercely to the side, causing Lily to fall onto James. Immediately, James wrapped his arms around her protectively. As they all felt the whole train tipping over.
Things Haven't Changed
"If no one comes by noon, we’ll have to have the strongest apperate to The Ministry, until then we need to keep everyone calm and together." He said as he looked at her slightly worried. "Why hasn’t Dumbledore come?" He asked as he looked at her in a worried way.
The French Ministry
After about a minute of travel Lily watched as the door opened, causing her to squint her eyes against the bright light. The Lobby was grand, an almost exact replica of the English Ministry’s Lobby. She walked across the marble floor, watching as wizards and witches alike scrambled around the room, eyeing her curiously.
Finally she had a place to think, a place to mull over her gathering thoughts. The first one to her mind was obvious, what was wrong with her. She cradled her head in her hands as she imagined James Potter in her mind, a fire growing within her. What was it about him that made her so angry, a long list of personality aspects jumped into her mind, and yet none of them fit why the emotion was so deep. She wished he would just disappear, for if he did he life would suddenly become so much easier.
“Please don’t make me…talk about it!” Lily cried in between sobs as she looked at him with tear filled eyes. “Please.” She said as she wiped the tears away from her eyes.
"Watch your back Zabini.” James warned in a deadly manor, his eyes burning with pain. His hands were so tightly bawled into fists he could feel his nails cutting crescent shaped holes into his skin. His feet fell heavily to the ground as he stormed to the Gryffindor Common Room; he needed to talk to Sirius badly. He felt tears burning his eyes once more, falling slowly down his cheeks. He quickly swiped them away with the back of his sleeve; no one was going to see James Potter, Golden Boy of Hogwarts, crying.
“If you leave me for your precious James I’ll kill him, and make you watch.”
Oh James Potter
Tales of how Eric Zabini and preformed an Unforgivable Curse on James Potter soon erupted through Hogwarts, the only difference it had from the truth was how James rose and defeated him single handedly as Lily cowered in the corner. Lily walked down the hall with her books against her chest, watching as people glared at her hatefully.
“Love is both the most complexed and simplest thing. If you think of your love for a boy it might seem complicated. But when you have a child one day then you will never love anyone easier.” Alice said with a smile. “Love is a feeling, Lily, not a decision.” Lily bit her lip as she looked down at her knees.
“I am only as Black as your Fiancée, cousin dearest.” Sirius laughed as Lucius whipped back around. Lucius glared at him as he turned away from Sirius once more. “Are you shying off Lucius? I knew you were a coward, but even before Narcissa?” Sirius was the one with the drawn wand now, aiming it directly at Lucius’s back. “Remember Malfoy, I grew up in the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, I know curses that will make your head spin.” He smirked.
“Peter, go into the tunnel and see how far along they are. Sirius, you guard the entrance, if they come out bark. Remus and I will be waiting for them.”
“I delivered no such message.” McGonagall said as she stepped out of the shadows. “I’ve been hear the whole time.” She said with a perplexed look. James and Lily turned to each other, confusion etched on their face.
More and More Interesting
Lying in front of them, face down and bloody was Alice Franklin. Still breathing, but defiantly not moving. Lily rushed to her side and turned her over, tears rolling down her cheeks. “This night just keeps getting more and more interesting.” Peter sighed.
Christmas With the Potters
“Well you better owl her back and tell her to set an extra place.” James smiled widely at Lily and brought his lips to her’s.
Mrs. Jenna Potter
But his mother was like no woman Lily had ever seen. Jenna Potter was a tall slender woman, with large brown eyes and long curly blonde hair. Her face looked young, and her posture was nearly perfect. She held herself like royalty, and dressed in much the same way. Her full red lips were turned up into a bright smile, reviling sparkling white teeth. Lily thought she could have been a model, maybe even a movie star on looks alone.
