He was just and older student, a Hogwarts veteran. It was only natural to be in awe at an older student who had survived what she was still trying to adjust to. And not only had he adjusted, but he had distinguished himself from his fellow students by being a prefect; he was special, so obviously, there was nothing wrong with being in awe—admiring and respecting him to the point that his presence was slightly frightening and caused butterflies to flutter in her stomach.
