Twenty-one-year-old Auror Harry Potter returns home after four years away to renw friendships and update himself on what's happened while he's been away, not to mention hopefully rekindle his romance with Ginny, with whom he is still in love.

Harry reminisces about two memorable encounters with Draco and company, then Ginny recalls a time when she, Ron and Hermione had to do damage control for Harry.
Romantic Interlude/Ron's Proposal
Harry and Ginny share some quality time alone in the Gryffindor common room; meanwhile, Ron finally gets up the courage to propose to Hermione...with a little luck--and help--from Harry.

Harry and Ginny discuss what to do when the time comes to go after the Horcruxes and Voldemort; he is reluctant to allow her to accompany him but she is just as determined to go. Harry comes to join the women and is told of Ginny's pregnancy, reacting predictably--and ends up in a heated argument with Ginny, which she instigates because of a pregnancy- induced mood.
At The Jewelers'/Discovery/The Dark Lord
Harry and Ginny, Ron and Hermione go to the jewelers to buy rings; later on Hermione makes a discovery which could lead them to another Horcrux; lastly, Voldemort learns of the destruction of the fourth Horcrux and is NOT pleased...to put it mildly!
Harry's Sorrow/Double Wedding
Harry feels pain and sorrow that his parents and Sirius can't be present to see him and Ginny get married even as he and his friends prepare for the double wedding.
Engaging the Dark Forces
Even in the midst of their wedding nights, the two newly married couples find it necessary to put them on hold in order to deal with Dark forces (i.e., several Death Eaters and dementors), not the least of which is Bellatrix Lestrange, who killed Sirius.
On to Hogwarts
Harry and company go to Hogwarts because they have reason to believe another Horcrux is located in the school library. While there, they arrange to have Q&A sessions with the current student body and the forces of Darkness learn that they have discovered and destroyed the fifth Horcrux.

Aftermath/Talk with Students/Postgrad Work
The aftermath of the Final Battle; Harry and company hold a Q&A session with the current crop of Hogwarts students and begin their postgrad work shortly thereafter.
More Q&A Sessions/Personal Discussions
Harry and company have another Q&A session with the current crop of Hogwarts students, then go through and discuss young James's personal file after obtaining it from McGonagall after their discussion with her.
Important Discoveries/Two Passionate Nights
Harry and Ginny make some important discoveries regarding Sirius and intend to check them out at the first opportunity. Meanwhile, the lovers share some quality time together, both in their quarters and in the Prefects' Bathroom while at Hogwarts.
Dancing Lessons/Mrs. Sirius Black
Harry takes dancing lessons with Hermione (supervised by Ron) in order so that he can keep a promise to Ginny to dance with her, since he didn't get to do it in fourth year at the Yule Ball. Not long after this, he and Ginny travel to London and seek out the woman who was reportedly not only married to Sirius for a time, but who is also the mother of his child, eleven-year-old James, now a first-year Hogwarts student.
Unexpected Encounter/Nagini is Destroyed
Harry and Ginny go out for a fancy dinner and the dance he promised her, but in the process have an unexpected encounter with Dark forces ... and end up having to battle them.
Red-Hot Mama/Meeting/Genealogical Search
Harry and Ginny have another personal discussion after a night of passionate love; Ron and Hermione meet with McGonagall; Harry and Ginny go check out Sirius's family (and by extension, their own in the process) at the Witch and Wizard Genealogical outfit.
Inquiries/Harvest Festival/Sleepless Night
Harry makes inquiries as to the availability of his family's ancestral home; he and Ginny travel to the Burrow for the British equivalent of Thanksgiving, experiencing a sleepless night while being forced to listen to the goings-on in the next-door bedroom, that of Bill and Fleur...that is, until Harry casts a Silencing Charm.
Holiday Visitors/Harry & Young James/Ginny Gives Birth
Harry and Ginny have Rose and young James over for Christmas, then he and the boy have a talk about Sirius while the ladies chew the fat; shortly after Rose and James depart, however, Ginny goes into labour.
Much publicity ensues in the wake of Harry and Ginny's twins' birth; the proud new grandparents, Arthur and Molly Weasley, even give an interview in the "Daily Prophet"; not too long afterward, Harry has a dream involving all his deceased loved ones (and the living ones, too) showing him how happy the former are about his new life and children.
Harry and Young James's Day Together
Harry and young James Black spend a day together, discussing Sirius, sharing a butterbeer and buying the boy his own owl, which they name Brownie.
Arthur Weasley becomes editor of the Daily Prophet and sacks Rita Skeeter for her sensationalism in the wake of the birth of Harry and Ginny's children; shortly thereafter, Harry takes her and the children to visit his parents' graves and they have a supernatural experience while there even as they are observed by the ghosts of same.
