Chapter 1: Oh, Baby!
Two years ago, Hermione and Ron had a big fight, but now, Hermione could barely remember what the fight was about, she only remembered that it resulted in three things. One, their break up, two her moving out of the Burrow and into the two-bedroom apartment that she had now and three, Ron moving away. Then, she found out that she was pregnant.
Chapter 2: Going Nowhere Fast
Did she really still care for Ron? She thought as she cleaned the dished with a wave of her wand. She slumped down on her couch and looked at the latest picture of her and Paige. It had been taken at a muggle park while Paige and Hermione were going down the slide. Looking at the picture reminded her of Bill’s wedding, which was at the Burrow in the back yard…
Chapter 3: Da-da
“Paige!” Hermione sighed smiling at her daughter. Paige ran over and opened the lowest drawer of her dresser. She pulled out a picture frame and showed Hermione. Hermione’s smile faded but she quickly picked it back up. “Yes. That’s Daddy.” She said. “Da-da?” Paige asked turning the picture so she could see it. “Yes.” Hermione walked over and picked Paige up. She gently tugged the picture out of her hand and, after taking one last look at it, set it face down on the top of the dresser. “Now,” she said, “Who wants breakfast?”
Chapter 4: Wow
“Hey,” he looked up, “Why don’t you two and Harry come over for dinner tonight?” “I can’t.” Hermione said, “I have a date.” She said as calmly as she could. “You? Have a date?” Ron said in disbelief. Why couldn’t he belief the she had a date? “Yes, Ronald. I have a date, and if you’ll excuse me, Ginny, I have to go get ready.” She said and grabbed her bags and having finished her ice cream, disapparated. “Way to go, Ron.” Ginny said.
Chapter 5: Forgiveness
“Ron, I’m so sorry! Can you forgive me?” Hermione asked. “Forgive you from hiding my own daughter from me? I don’t know Hermione. I have to go.” Ron whispered and walked past her into the house. Hermione say down on the soft grass and rested her head in her hands, “What have I done?” she asked herself and felt fresh tears running down her cheek, again.
Chapter 6: Member Two of the Golden Trio Weds Today
Just like almost every time she looked at her daughter, Hermione thought of Ron. Today was the day he was supposed to be married. Would he really go through with it? Hermione had thought that when he learned that he had a daughter, Ron would have at least postponed the wedding. She hadn’t heard anything from Harry or Ginny though.
Chapter 7: Hurts
Harry and Ron sat for a moment in silence, both thinking over the conversation that they had just had. Finally, Harry stood up, “Look, I don’t even want to know how that fight escalated, but however wrong Hermione was in not telling you, she made sure that your daughter knew who you were. She has a picture of you in Paige’s room above her bed and Paige will tell anyone that that’s her dad,” Harry told him, “Now I don’t know what you want to do, but you shouldn’t get married today if you are not one hundred percent sure that Ivy is the one. It’s not fair to Ivy, you, or your daughter.”
Chapter 8: Seconds
Shocks and surprises unfold as Paige is “treated” by her grandmother. Ron and Hermione finally talk. Funny what can happen in just seconds.
Chapter 9: Should’ve and Shouldn’t
Ron shut the door behind him and leaned against it, his head pounding. He want split so many ways. One part of him wanted to rush back in there and snog Hermione senseless, another part wanted to run down the stairs and yell at Ivy, and yet another part was telling him off for almost cheating – he was still engaged; this was still his wedding day to Ivy, not Hermione.
