Banner by Iced_Cherriez. Harry's sixth year has finally come to an end and he finds that the Order isn't going to let him get away on his own without a fight. So, with much assistance, Harry embarks on his toughest challenge yet - find and destroy Voldemort and the Horcruxes before Voldemort can destroy the Wizarding world. [POST HBP]
Enlightening The Elders
After reluctantly accepting the help of the Order in his quest, Harry leaves Privet Drive for good, going to the office of headmisstress Minerva McGonagall.
Closing The Door
Minerva is less than pleased to discover that the trio will not be remaining at school next year but compromises are made and Harry returns to Grimmauld Place to a new room...
An Unexpected Attack
Travels to Diagon Alley don't go as expected and Harry finally has the chance to examine the vault given to him by Petunia.
Does magic work in space? Harry's unlikely to find out but it's just one of the questions raised in this chapter as he meets with the New Order and discusses seemingly irrelevant topics.
Flight Of The Phoenix
Hermione is in contact with Viktor again although this time they may be meeting on his turf instead of hers. The Order are finding that sometimes Hogwarts is the most desirous place to be in the world, especially when they're hundreds of miles away in an infinitely cooler environment.
Finding The First
The New Order return from Durmstrang with the Frequency Counter - a device used for measuring the magic in any particular place. Already it's becoming very useful...
Robbing The Bank
The security around Gringotts vaults might be air tight but what about the rest of the building? Bill finds the most valuable item where he least expected to, but can he get it out of the bank?
A trip to Diagon Alley is more interesting than the group would have thought.
Harry is finally given the chance to enter Snape's chambers although the owner had long since vacated the school for the Death Eater ranks. What wil Harry discover inside and will it be any help in the hunt for the Horcruxes...?
R.A.B. is revealed, but it's certainly not who Harry had presumed it would be!
Her Worst Mistake
A visit to Godric's Hollow for Harry is in store but what they never reckoned on was the worst mistake that Ginny Weasley would ever make.
Thicker Than Water
He closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath as he did so. His head was reeling and it was as if he could feel the colour draining out of his face. He was swaying slightly, he knew so, and voices around him were certainly speaking his name; checking if he was okay and that the news he had been dealt hadn’t destroyed his world. He wasn’t listening… it was all so far away. The blackness was all-consuming. He welcomed it gratefully and consciousness deserted him.
The Most Difficult Potion
Harry receives the instructions for the particular potion that he must brew, but the ingredients will hardly be the most easy of things to acquire.
On The Sidelines
Due to a sudden headache, Harry is left on the sidelines with Minerva, whilst the others make haste towards their mission. But things are never dull where Harry is concerned, and it turns out that perhaps being left behind might not always be the worst thing in the world, especially when a letter from Snape arrives with his name on it.
The New Order have already left, leaving Harry in the castle alone. Sometimes it's harder to be the one left behind, knowing that your friends are in danger, than it is to be in danger yourself.
Procuring the Penultimate
The second horcrux falls into the possession of the Order, but with many months to spare until they can even attempt to acquire the next one, there is much time to be spent. Unluckiliy for them, there is much to fill such a space, not leat protecting the hundreds of thousands of magical people under threat as the Dark grows and looms ever closer.
A Burst Of Light And Hope
They were the nameless faces, forgotten as the limelight passed onto the truly heroic, each of them committing feats of bravery in their own way, each of them fighting for causes just as noble as the highest and the most famous. They were not Harry Potter, nor were they Albus Dumbledore, but they were brave and noble, intelligent and loyal, and they would fight for each and every person who could not fight for himself.
To Trust A Malfoy
Some information revealed by Draco Malfoy shocks the Order, but after all's said and done, can the information he provides be trusted? And is it worth the lives of countless people?
Voldemort continued to pace, and then stopped abruptly. His alarming eyes scanned the crowd gathered around him. He spoke softly into the darkness but each and every single one of them gathered heard his words. “Where is Severus Snape?”
Meeting The Death Eaters
Harry felt the man throw himself into him. He realised too late that the man was a Death Eater, and he pressed a Portkey of his own into his hand. His own Portkey pulled him home, towards Grimmauld Place, but the other was stronger and was taking him somewhere else entirely. He felt his own Portkey wrenched from his hand and himself thrown through space.
Planning and Preparations
A final raid on Riddle House is planned, and everyone is involved. Well, almost everyone...
The chosen members of the Order enter Riddle House for what is to be an interesting and alarming journey to find yet another Horcrux, but will they make it back out alive, or will the house imprison them there forever?
“Apparition wards,” Remus told Fred calmly, or as calmly as one could after realising that magical teleportation was out of the question, now that they were in a building in which their primary exit had been blocked by many soul-sucking monsters. Behind them stood George and Harry, both staring out beyond at the Dementors that blocked their only escape.
"They huddled inside the buildings. It was an unnaturally dark and cold evening that wrapped around the small magical village of Hogsmeade. The silence was eerie, but not inflicted by any unnatural presence; it was the product of a large amount of frightened people in spaces too small for them."
The Unexpected Archway
Whilst fighting within the Room of Requirement, an archway appears, and soon all have travelled through it. But it is what lays on the other side that is the most interesting, and the most unusual.
