DISCLAIMER:: I do NOT own ANY of these characters. If I did, trust me, I would NOT be posting stories on here...I'd be out spending my mass amounts of money :P. The song is Bryan Adams "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?"

Draco stood at the altar, looking down the aisle, anticipating his bride. He hadn’t seen her dress, or the jewelry he insisted that she buy, either. They were going to do this right. His mother sat a few feet behind him, and the Weasleys sat a few feet to the left of her. Well, what was left of them. Arthur and Bill had died in the war. Molly was clinging to Charlie, who had his left arm in a sling, and Fred and George were trying to cheer her up while they shot glares in Draco’s direction. Ron sat dejectedly next to them. He’d come, like he promised he would. Draco knew that this was difficult for the redhead. Angelina sat with a young girl in her lap, and Katie sat next to her, a baby in her arms. Charlie’s wife, a petite little blonde, sat with a little boy in her lap and an older girl next to her. Professor Dumbledore stood in front of Draco and smiled down at him.

All heads turned when the organ began to play.

To really love a woman,
To understand her,
You gotta know her deep inside…

Ginny walked up the aisle first. Her hair was swept up and curls bounced down her back. She wore sapphire earrings* and wore a delicate sapphire necklace*. Her bouquet was made up of lilies, navy blue carnations and chrysanthemums, and baby’s breath. She wore a smile on her face as she made her way up to the aisle and to her place. Everyone present stood up and gazed in wonder at the bride.

Hear every thought…
See every dream…

Hermione was wearing her dress, and Harry was on her right arm. Her hair was pulled up in a crown of braids, and ringlets framed her face. Navy blue ribbons were woven in her hair, as well as baby’s breath and tiny crystals. Her veil was in place, but Draco could still see the delicate flush that had crept up her ivory cheeks. Her earrings matched Ginny’s, but her necklace did not. It was a large sapphire, shaped as a heart, with a crown of diamonds, all on a silver chain*. When they reached the altar, Draco lifted her veil and Dumbledore began the ceremony.

And give her wings when she wants to fly…

“We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to add our best wishes to the words which shall unite Draco Ignatius Malfoy and Hermione Jane Granger in marriage. Should there be anyone who has cause why this couple should not be united in marriage, they must speak now or forever hold their peace."

Draco waited on pins and needles. He expected Ron to jump up and yell “I object!” But he didn’t. So, Dumbledore continued…

“Who is it that brings this woman to this man?”

“I do,” Harry answered. He put Hermione’s hand into Draco’s and took his place next to the groom.

“Draco and Hermione, life is given to each of us as individuals, and yet we must learn to live together. Love is given to us by our family or by our friends. We learn to love by being loved. Learning to love and living together is one of the greatest challenges of life - and is the shared goal of a married life.”

Draco held Hermione’s hand in his own and looked into her milk chocolate eyes.

Then when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman.

“Hermione, I love you with all my heart and soul. You’ve been there for me, even though you never knew it. I’ve tormented you for years, made your life miserable, and still you manage to love me. I want to spend the rest of our lives making up for lost time. Hermione Jane Granger, will you be my wife from now until death?”

“I do,” she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes. She bit her lip nervously, and spoke.

When you love a woman,
You tell her that she’s really wanted.

“Draco, you are the love of my life. I never thought that it would be you, but it is. Even though I’ve hated you for years for what you put me through, I can see the love in your eyes. Love for me. And I can’t help falling in love with you. I want to live the rest of my life by your side. Draco Malfoy, will you take me as your bride?”

“I do,” Draco said, as a single tear made its way down his cheek.

“Do we have the rings?” Dumbledore asked. Ginny handed one to Hermione, and Harry handed the other to Draco.

When you love a woman,
You tell her that she’s the one.

"Wedding rings are an outward and visible sign of an inward spiritual grace and the unbroken circle of love, signifying to all the union of this man and this woman in marriage. Draco, will you repeat after me? I, Draco Malfoy,”

“I, Draco Malfoy.”

“Take thee, Hermione Granger,”

“Take thee, Hermione Granger.”

“To be my lawfully wedded wife.”

“To be my lawfully wedded wife.”

“To have and to hold…”

“To have and to hold,”

“In sickness and in health…”

“In sickness and in health,”

“For richer, for poorer…”

“For richer, for poorer,”

“And I promise my love to you…”

“I promise my love to you,”

“Foreverm-more.” Draco slid the tiny platinum band onto his wife’s finger as the tears fell freely from his ice blue eyes.

‘Cause she needs somebody to tell her
That it’s gonna last forever.
So tell me have you ever really, really, really ever loved a woman?

“Hermione, will you repeat after me? I, Hermione Granger…”

“I, Hermione Granger,”

“Take thee, Draco Malfoy…”

“Take thee, Draco M-Malfoy,”

“To be my lawfully wedded husband…”

“To be my lawfully wedded husband,”

“To have and to hold…”

“To h-have and t-to h-hold,”

“In sickness and in health…”

“In s-sickness and in health,”

“For richer, for poorer…”

“For r-richer, for p-p-poorer,”

“And I promise my love to you…”

“I p-promise my love t-to you,”

“F-foreverm-m-ore.” Tears streaming down her face, Hermione slid the ring onto her husband’s finger.

To really love a woman
You let her hold ya
Until you know how she needs to be touched.

“Draco and Hermione, as the two of you come into this marriage uniting you as husband and wife, and as you this day affirm your faith and love for one another, I would ask that you always remember to cherish each other as special and unique individuals, that you respect the thoughts, ideas and suggestions of one another. Be able to forgive, do not hold grudges, and live each day that you may share it together - as from this day forward you shall be each other's home, comfort and refuge, your marriage strengthened by your love and respect for each other. Draco and Hermione, in so much as the two of you have agreed to live together in Holy Matrimony, have promised your love for each other by these vows, the joining of your hands and the giving of these rings, I now declare you to be Husband and Wife. Congratulations, you may kiss your bride.”

Draco leaned forward and kissed Hermione tenderly. Then Dumbledore raised his hands.

"It is now my privilege to present to you, for the first time ever, Mr. & Mrs. Draco Malfoy!”

You gotta breathe her…
Really taste her…
Until you can feel her in your blood.

The few guests there clapped as they made their way down the aisle, which was really a pathway in the Malfoy Manor gardens. Draco looked at his new wife and saw tears in her eyes. But he also saw something else.

When you can see your unborn children in her eyes
You know you really love a woman.

He saw love, devotion, and…contentment. He’d made her happy.

When you love a woman,
You tell her that she’s really wanted.

Draco took his wife in his arms and whispered into her ear, “Hermione, darling, I love you more than you’ll ever know!”

When you love a woman,
You tell her that she’s the one.
‘Cause she needs somebody
To tell her that you’ll always be together…
So tell me have you ever really, really, really ever loved a woman?

She giggled. “I love you more!”

“Oh, really?” Draco challenged.

“Yes, really, Mr. Malfoy,” Hermione teased.

“We’ll have to see about that, Mrs. Malfoy!”

“Hem, hem!”

Hermione giggled at the expression on Mrs. Weasley’s face. The older woman was not happy with the turn of events, but, in the end, had said that Hermione’s happiness was worth more than an old grudge.

The newlyweds turned to greet their guests.

You got to give her some faith,
Hold her tight,
A little tenderness,
You gotta treat her right.
She will be there for you,
Taking good care of you,
You really gotta love your woman, yeah.

That night, as they lay in their bed, Draco’s thoughts started to drift. He looked down at his wife, asleep with her head on his chest. He smiled and ran his fingers through her hair.

And when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms,
You know you really love a woman

He knew that this was a good thing. He loved her, and she loved him. All was right with the world. He held her close, and she snuggled into his strong chest, sighing contentedly.

When you love a woman
You tell her that she’s really wanted.
When you love a woman,
You tell her that she’s the one.
‘Cause she needs somebody
To tell her that it’s gonna last forever.

“Hermione, my love for you will outlast magic itself…” he whispered. He kissed her forehead and lay back on the pillow before he drifted off to sleep.

So tell me have you ever really, really, really ever loved a woman?
Just tell me have you ever really, really, really ever loved a woman?
Just tell me have you ever really, really, really ever loved a woman?
