Honestly Hermione. I rolled my eyes and pulled out my purse, ten galleons left. Enough to buy a pet. Mum and dad had given us both extra money as an early birthday present. I really didn't care what 'mione did with hers but I was going to get a pet.
"I want an owl," I heard by sister say across the table. "cool," I said, "we can go together, I want a cat."
Together we headed into the magical menagerie to search for our desired animal-familiar if you like. Ron and Harry came to as Ron wanted his pathetic rat scabbers looking at.
We were looking around when a great fluffy ginger tom came leaping a cross the shop nearly hitting Ron's head. Scabbers leapt out of his hand and Ron left the menagerie after his pet.
Hermio walked over to the cat and crooned gently to it, "hello aren't you a lovely boy," she looked up at me and said, "I want this one!" I shrugged he seemed a nice enough cat and I had already seen the cat I wanted, a small long haired tabby kitten with beautiful green eyes. I knew just what to call it, Emerald, after it's eye colour.
I picked up the basket and took it to the counter where hermione was paying for the cat apparently called crookshanks. I paid my 10 galleons and left, feeling very pleased with my choice of pet. I met my friends outside fortescue's ice cream parlour where me and hermy had left our many bags. When I got there I found Ron complaining about crookshanks. "that cat nearly scalped me!" he exclaimed. I looked at Harry and rolled my eyes, trying not to snigger. Why didn't they just go out already. It was obvious that they loved each other.
