You were sitting under the red and gold banner with your house's emblem in the centre. Your father was disappointed in that you did not get into Slytherin; he was even more upset when he learned that his son was in love with the daughter of his worst enemy. Your father shunned you for it. You were not allowed to come home until you stopped loving her. And if you two ever started dating, it meant that you would be immediately disowned. The only thing that made your father proud of you was that you had gotten Head Boy. This was soon crushed when he found out that said girl had been made Head Girl.

You looked at the virtually empty common room. The only two Gryffindors that had remained for the break were you and your love. Who was staring blankly into the fire, like she had always done when she wanted to think. You had studied her for the past six and a half years. You knew her every tick: the way she bit her lip when she was nervous; the way she would play with her hair when she got bored; the way her eyes would darken every time she became angry. But as of late, she had shut down. She started to wear more make up, wore darker clothes, and even stopped smiling. You watched her from behind your book, carefully honing in on all of her movements. After sometime, she stopped moving, so you went back to reading. When you looked back up, her eyes were red and her cheeks were wet. You quickly got up and walked over to the chair next to her. As you sat down, her eyes turned toward you slowly. You looked into her chocolate eyes. You could feel the pain oozing from her. It was almost too much. You cleared your throat.

"Rose," you said softly. She erupted into tears and curled up into a ball. You continued to look at her, startled. You then put your book down and walked over to her chair. You picked her up in your strong arms and sat down with her in them. She hugged you with much vigor.

"Rose, what happened? Why are you crying?" You asked. You gently ran your fingers up and down the spine of the girl who had become your best friend. The girl who had had a crush on you last year. The girl who was now staring up at you with pain in her eyes. She opened her mouth and hiccuped.

"Fuck, Rose! Who did this to you?!" She remained silent. You sat there, holding each other for a few hours. She cried until she could not cry anymore. You looked at the clock: one thirty in the morning. Rose yawned widely. You smiled.

"I think it's time for you to go to bed," you said, carrying her up the staircase to your dorm. You gently placed her on your bed and turned to leave. She grabbed onto your arm.

"Scorpius," she whimpered. You looked into her eyes, which looked scared and hurt. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" You sat down next to her on your bed and shook her hands off before nodding and standing back up. You grabbed one of your Quidditch jerseys and handed it to her. She went into the bathroom and changed quickly. You changed into your pajama pants and sat on your bed, shirtless. She slowly opened the door and looked at you, hugging herself. You ran over to her and picked her up. Seeing her like this made you want to cry: she looked so small and vulnerable. When you set her down on your bed, she laid her head on your pillow gently, facing the wall. She stared at the space in front of her. You scratched your head and sat down by her feet, facing away from her.

"Three years ago, I met someone." Her voice was fragile. Her words pierced your heart like a knife. You turned toward her slowly. She rolled over.

"This man's name was Marcus Knight. He is a Muggle who is seven years older than me. He texted me from November to December and we worked together on the same day. He texted me very inappropriate things, like how he wanted to lock me in a room with him and have sex with him." She took a deep breath and shuttered, starting to cry again. You looked at her, pain evident in your eyes.

"A few days ago, I found out that he did the same thing to a twelve year old girl, except he sent nude pictures of himself and described how he would make sure that she wouldn't get pregnant. He was arrested and I found out that I might have to testify against him in a year. I've been reliving the entire experience every day since then..." Rose started to cry even harder. You reached up to touch your face: you were crying as well. You laid down next to her and wrapped your muscular arms around her. She cried into your bare chest. You kissed her forehead. Who could do that to anyone, you thought.

After a half hour, she fell asleep. You lay there with the girl of your dreams in your arms, thinking about what you had just learned. This girl was so beautiful and so graceful - no one deserved that kind of treatment.

"Scorpius..." Rose moaned. You jumped out of your reverie and looked down at her; however, she was still asleep. "Scorpius, don't leave me..." she said louder. You kissed her forehead gently. "Scorpius, save me from this hell I'm living..." You rubbed her shoulder with your thumb. "Scorpius, I love you..."  And that was the last thing she said for the rest of the night. You yawned widely and before you knew it, you were out cold, as well.

Waking up the next morning was a challenge. You did not want to wake up. You rolled onto your right side and felt your arm come into contact with something warm. Your eyes opened wide and all your could see was red hair. You lifted your head up and realized that it was the hair of Rose Weasley, wearing your Quidditch jersey with your name on it. Flashes of last night flooded your mind and you sighed, carefully getting out of bed. She was still fast asleep. You walked over to your dresser and pulled on your favorite shirt (a brown Chudley Cannons short sleeved shirt) over a white undershirt. After hopping into a pair of blue jeans and putting on your leather jacket, you went down to the kitchens. You decided you would shower later.

When you reached the massive painting, you tickled the pear and walked in to be greeted by a mass of tiny elves.

"Master Malfoy," Blinky said. You smiled and crouched down to be at the same eye level as the small creature.

"Hey, Blinky! How's it going? Also, I told you to call me Scorpius," you said, lifting your fist up to do a secret handshake with the House Elf. The elf explained how he loved to work and how he had had a food fight with another student the other week. You chuckled, remembering how you had had a food fight with this same elf. That had been loads of fun.

"Listen, Blinky, can you make me some waffles, please? And have them delivered to the Head's Dorm? Pretty please?" You pleaded, knowing that it wasn't necessary.

"Of course, Master Scorpius!" The House Elf ran off to make the order. You sighed: getting Blinky to call you by your first name was an arduous task. You called, "Thank you! And see you in a little bit," towards the elves and promptly left the kitchens. You shove your hands in your pockets and strolled up to your dormitory. You got there and noticed that your beloved was still asleep. You went into the bathroom and showered. After you came out, you noticed that she was still asleep. You conjured up a chair and sat down in it, grabbing her hand. You sat there, feeling like everything was going to hell. She's hurting, you thought. And I can't do a thing about it.

"So, my suspicions were true," a voice from in front of you said so softly it was almost inaudible. You looked up to see a sad smile plastered on the most beautiful face in the world. Her brown eyes stared into your ice blue ones. There were mixed emotions in them - happiness, pain, confusion, sadness. You looked down and smirked sadly.

"Rose, I've loved you for quite some time now," you started slowly. "To me, you are the sunshine. You are the air that I breathe. I can't stop thinking about you. I have trouble sleeping at night. I can't concentrate at all. You are always on my mind. Ever since the first day that I saw you. To me, you are perfection." You lifted your head, tears in your eyes. "I love you, Rose Margaret Weasley." You looked up at the ceiling and let some tears fall. "Merlin, I love you." You redirected your gaze at her. "I wish there was a way for you to see..." Then your eyes widened and you pointed your wand at her head. She flinched, her cheeks tear-stained. You squeezed her hand gently.

"This won't hurt," you said, casting the spell silently as you spoke. Fear and shock were prominent in her features at first. Then, as she sifted through each of your memories, she relaxed. She saw everything: the first day that you saw her; your first train ride when you had become best friends; the time in second year when you had had that tickle war; the week in third year when you had gone up to her dorm every day to make sure she was alright; the month in fourth year when you had completely ignored her while she'd dated a sixth year; the day that you had lost his virginity to Amber Davis due to a miscommunication in which you thought that she'd done the deed with that same sixth year; Christmas day last year when you had given her a present anonymously; and this year, at the Halloween Masquerade Ball, when you two kissed and she did not know who she'd kissed. As the memories faded, she smiled for the first time in a very long time. She tugged on the necklace that you had given her in sixth year for Christmas. You smiled and kissed her knuckle. She sat up and leaned in. You leaned in as well. Your lips met and you kissed for the first time without masks. You kissed for a few minutes, each one growing more passionate. You smoothly pulled her onto your lap without stopping the kiss.

You broke apart, breathing heavily. You chuckled and smiled widely. She joined in and kissed your forehead. She looked into your eyes and smiled widely.

"I love you, too, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy," she whispered. Your smile widened and you kissed again. This kiss did not last as long before you broke apart.

"Happy Christmas, Rose," you whispered.

...

You looked down at your beautiful, blushing bride. It had been three years since you and Rose had started dating, that fateful Christmas morning. And now here she was, still holding your hand. The ceremony had gone smoothly and there were no flaws. The reception had gone by in a flash. You were now going to Crans-Montana, Switzerland. It was a small ski village where they speak French. For Rose, it was a complete surprise. She looked up at you, smiling like there was no tomorrow. She looked lovely in her dress. You were currently at Malfoy Manor. Draco Malfoy had died the year before due to heart complications. He did not leave a will, so it automatically went to you; although you had been disowned, your mother had given the house to you as a wedding gift. Rose was changing while you made sure that everything was in order.

Soon, you heard her heels clicking down the grand staircase. You looked up from counting the bags and your jaw dropped. Her navy blue dress went well with her complexion. The golden heart necklace hung from her neck. She smiled.

"How do I look," she asked, coming exceptionally close. You smiled back.

"Exquisite, Mrs. Malfoy," you said, kissing her forehead. "Are you ready, love?"

"I'll go anywhere with you," she said before you disapparated

"Come on, Mum!" Your son, Alexander Ronald, shouted at your pregnant wife as he ran down the long walkway to Platform 9 3/4. You watched your seven year old boy run up to  your in-laws, who were waiting for you. You smiled and held your daughter closer to you: Angela Margaret giggled and snuggled closer. She was the youngest of three so far, with a fourth one well on the way. It this rate, you two would wind up like Rose's grandparents. Your other son, who was nearly five, held onto your wife's hand. Andrew Louis was sucking his thumb again. You led your growing family toward your wife's parents, who had finally deemed you fit to be in their daughter's life.

"Mr. Weasley," you said, adjusting your two year old to shake his hand. He smirked at you.

"Good morning, Scorpius," he said. Angie squealed at the sound of her grandfather's voice and immediately reached for him. You handed her over and he started tickling her. She began giggling again. You heard your wife groan from beside you. You looked down at her: she was slightly clammy and had a grimace on her face. You looked at her, confused.

"I'm fine," she hissed. You shrugged and kissed her forehead, grabbing her hand. Andy went over to Hermione and hugged her at the knees. She chuckled at the small boy and picked him up. You motioned for them to go through first.

"After you," you said. The elderly couple walked through the portal, followed quickly by Alex. You gently squeezed your wife's hand and led her through the barrier. The platform buzzed with the commotion of families saying goodbye to loved ones. You spotted a rather large group of redheads and raven haired adults standing amidst the throng of Hogwarts students. Your wife squeezed your hand tightly. You whipped around to see her gritting her teeth and holding her stomach. Realization dawned on you and you ran over to your family.

"Hey, Al," you said, hugging your best friend. "Could you watch the kids, please? I need to take Rosie to St. Mungo's." Albus nodded, smiled, and walked over to his wife, Annette. James Potter winked at you while holding his American fiancée, Maggie Frace. You nodded in greeting as you watch your best friend's child get on the train for the first time. You said goodbye to Tianna as she closed the door and you apparated your wife to St. Mungo's, where you had your fourth of eight children: all of whom would be sorted into Gryffindor.
