“Damn.” She looked up, a hurt expression on her face. I sighed.

“That was a ‘damn, that’s hot’ not a ‘damn, I’m in trouble.’” I said. She smiled.

“Nice pj’s,” she said, hugging me. I wrapped my arms around her.

“I love you,” I murmured into her hair. Her smile got bigger.

“I love you, too,” she whispered back. I unwrapped my arms from around her body and took both of her hands. She yawned.

“You’re tired,” I murmured. Melody nodded.

“C’mon, then,” I said, dropping her left hand. I led her to the bed and laid her down on the bed. I started to head towards the bathroom, but Mellie still held onto me.

“Don’t go.”

“Mellie,” I said. “I need to use the loo.” Her bottom lip stuck out; she looked like a five year old. “It won’t take long.” She nodded. I went to the bathroom.

I came out five minutes later and walked to the bed. Melody was sitting up, looking at me. I got into bed and she snuggled into my side.

“Hey, there,” I said, smiling.

“Hey,” she said, smiling back at me. I kissed her hair. She looked up at me.

“I’m bored,” She stated. “And I don’t mean with you. I want to do something!”

“Well,” I started, but didn’t get to finish, for Melody’s lips on top of mine cut me off. I deepened the kiss. My left hand reached for the small of her back, my right hand combed through the base of her thick, golden curls. Her hands were massaging my back. The kiss deepened even further and my hand wound up pulling her left leg around my body. She pulled away for air.

“If we lose our virginity before the wedding, I’m going to kill you,” she said in between gasps of air. Yes, it’s true – at the time, we were BOTH virgins, even after all of the relationships that we have had (we were tied for the number of relationships that we had had).

“Don’t worry,” I said, pressing my lips up the side of her neck. “I’m not ready for THAT yet.” A shiver went down her spine. She yawned.

“You’re cold and tired,” I said. She snuggled closer to me and closed her eyes.

“Good night, Sirius Michalob Black,” she said, already half asleep.

“Good night, Melody Anne Black,” I said trying out the name. She was already asleep, that was a fact proved by her light snores. But I still told her one more thing:

“Sweet dreams forever, my eternal love.”

The next day was Saturday. School wouldn’t start until next week. After taking a shower, I walked to the closet and opened the door.

“Oh shit,” I murmured. The closet, which had been completely empty, was now filled with skin – tight shirts, jeans, school uniforms, and tuxedos. I picked out a pair of jeans and a shirt and sauntered down to the Great Hall, leaving Melody to sleep a while longer. When I entered, all talking seemed to cease for a few seconds as all eyes turned to stare. Then the whispers started.

“Did you hear that Rogers and Black are going to have an actual relationship?”

“I thought she looked pregnant!”

“Whatever, he’s a damn bastard,” said Peter.

“Can you pass the marmalade, please?’

I walked over to where James and Lily were sitting. She pecked him on the cheek.

“What? I don’t get one?” I asked jokingly. She rolled her eyes.

“Get a life, Snuffles,” Lily said. She picked up a piece of toast, but I took it right out her hands before she could take a bite.

“Hey! That’s Lily’s!” James said.

“Serves her right,” I retorted. “She should know better than to call me ‘Snuffles!’” Damn nickname!

“It’s ok, James,” Lily said. “I’m not hungry.”

“But you didn’t eat anything!”

“James,” said a female voice from behind me. “how unobservant can you get? I thought you knew that Lillian Rose Evans never eats breakfast!” I snaked my arm around Melody’s waist.

“Since when?!” James was skeptical.

“Since the first day of first year,” Mellie said.

“Actually,” Lily said. “I haven’t eaten breakfast for almost 11 years now.”

‘Lillian Rose Evans!” James gasped. “You will not do anything until you have eaten breakfast!” He started piling food on her plate.

“James Bartholomew Potter! I cannot and will not eat that much food!” Lily said. "And don't YOU start telling me what I can and can't do!" I had started to sit down, but stopped.

“Bartholomew?!” I snickered. “That’s your middle name?!”

"Yes." James sighed, turning pink.

I smirked. Lily picked up a piece of toast and took a bite out of it smiling, amused by the embarrassment she had caused James.

“Oh my God!” We turned to see Alice Princeton staring at Lily. “Are you eating, Lily?”

“Yes,” she said. “I am, in fact, eating, no thanks to the oaf that we know as my boyfriend.” Alice smiled and walked over to where Frank sat.

Just then, the post came in. An ebony letter plopped in front of Melody. She picked it up, curiously, and carefully opened the letter. She began to read it. As she continued, tears started streaming down her face.

“Melody,” I said, concerned. She got up and ran out of the Great Hall.

“Baby?” I asked. She left her letter sitting right in front of me. I picked it up and started reading it.

Hey, Guys!
Sad, huh? I'm sorry. It needed to be dramatic and, as the name goes, it's random! Love you all! Please r&r if you can!
