A/N: In the first chapter, I said crystal came from America, but it was a typo, wrong version of the chapter. She also never considered beaux batons. She si from Romania. Sorry for the mix-up. And, I know the part coming up is rushed, sorry. Hope you still like it anyway. Thanks for reading, and hopefully reviewing.

Chapter name- Moonlight Hollow

After feeling as though the world had fallen on them, they both opened their eyes, and saw a place of nothing but despair.

Crystal had already broken into tears. Before them stood her childhood home, Moonlight Hollow. The windows of the mansion were all smashed in, the stable had been burned. The grass was beyond dead, almost non-existent, the door was broken down, the whole house was in shambles.

Crystal took a step forward, but stopped, memories flooding her mind. She thought of her family, her horses, her life.

"I don’t know if I can do this."

"Yes you can, we can do it together." He took her hand and they began to walk up the hill that led to the front door. Comfort engulfed her, and she looked up, trying to think of place the last horcrux could be. All the places he killed.

"We'll go to my sisters room first. That's where he killed first. We should just go in order until we find it." They continued walking, and when they finally reached the front door, they both drew their wands, ready for an attack. But nothing happened. They stepped over the broken down door, and walked into the living room. Everything in sight was covered in and inch of dust. She led him up the stairs to her sisters room. It would have been beautiful, if there wasn’t blood staining the walls, and destruction lying in every corner.

"Lets just look, see what seems out of place. My sister was too young to have jewelry, so that would be one thing to look out for."

They sifted through piles of things, toys, and clothes. They came up empty handed after three hours of searching.

"Lets try my parents room next, they were second."

She led him across the hall, then stopped. She had just remembered what had gotten her away from Voldemort. "There's something else you need to know."

"Its ok, you can tell me." He put his hand on her back, trying to comfort her.

"When I turned sixteen, I was rescued. By a vampire. And he, he bit me. It was the only way I could get out, as a vampire. The only way he would let me out. I think he came from Romania, like me. He set it so I could have a year and a half without needing to feed." She looked into his eyes. Tears were lining hers. "So I could get my life together."

He looked at her with confusion. Then it hit him. Tomorrow was her birthday. He looked down.

"What does that mean?"

"If I don’t get blood before that year is up, the one that bit me will come get me. He'll take me. He'll kill me, Harry." She spoke as though she had just learned all of this. He knew she had just remembered because she was home.

"What do we do?" He looked at her questioningly, not knowing what would come next.

"I don’t know. I just want to look, we can worry about that later." They walked in, but a new feeling of despair settled over them. Time was running out. They searched and searched. The clock Harry had brought along read eleven fifty-three.

"Harry! I think I found it! Wait, never mind, it was just an old pen. Sorry."

"Crystal, right now we have bigger problems, its almost midnight." He looked at her, and her eyes flashed to worry.

"Oh no. Harry, its too late to go anywhere," she said, panic flooding her voice.

"Use me." He looked down. He would rather be with her and a vampire than have her gone.

"No Harry. I cant bite you, then you will be one too." But even as she spoke, she felt her canines growing.

"I cant let you go." He stepped closer to her, resting his hand on her cheek, letting her know it was ok.

"Just use me, please?"

"Alright." She took his arm and bit him. Pain raced through his arm. He winced, but was careful not to let her see. She held on, and when she was done, she spoke again.

"I'm so sorry Harry. I didn’t want to do that. I am not going to like that part of my life." She smiled slightly, hoping she could turn it into a joke, but she couldn’t bring herself to face the fact of what she had just become in the past five minutes. Harry performed a smell to heal the marks on his arm, but he knew there would always be a scar.

"Where did he bite you?"

"I… I can't remember. Maybe it will come to me while we work. The next person was my brother. Dad died trying to protect him, wait, you already knew that. But he was down the hall."

She led him to the last room in the hall, the door remained in tact, but was blown across the room. The whole room was burnt. Wait, not the Whole room, there was one thing left behind.

"That’s it. That’s the horcrux." He pointed at it, and Crystal turned to pick it up. Before her flashed images of her family. Images of her family dying. She dropped to her knees and soon Harry heard screams, then sobs from Crystal. Harry took the sword out of his pocket, and took off the shrinking spell. He slashed it through the small serpent statue. It wasn’t broken, but the images and screams stopped.

He dropped the sword and fell to the floor beside her, holding her in his arms.

"Im so sorry Crystal. I didn’t know you saw all that."

They sat there for a few long, silent minutes, which were only interrupted by Crystal's occasional sobs.

"Can we go?"

"There is one more place I want to go. You don’t have to if you don’t want to. I want to see the stable."

"No. I don’t want to go. I will wait for you on the lawn. I cant relive killing the horses anymore. I just cant."

"Ok. Ill be right back." They both apparated, but to different parts of the property. Harry opened his eyes to see nothing but burnt wood all around him. He didn’t know what he wanted to find there, but he wanted to look anyway.

He came across nothing of major importance, but he did see a few things that weren't burnt. He put the shrinking spell on them and put them in his backpack.

He apparated to get Crystal, who was sitting cross legged in the grass in front of the house, she was just staring at it.

"I hated reliving this, but I'm glad I came back. I wanted to see it again, it renewed my want for revenge. We have to finish this, Harry."

"I know, but for now, lets go home. Ok?"

"Yeah, ok." She stood up and took his hand, they both apparated to the road outside of the house, and walked in.
