Hermione and Belle had so much catching up to do that most of Harry and Ron’s ride, they were quiet. They’d throw in an answer now and then but mostly, it was looking out the window. Hermione then thought of a question that interested Harry enough to make his ride better.

“Which house are you in?” Hermione asked.

“Well, at my last school, there was a house there that was a house like Gryffindor so I guess I’m in Gryffindor!” Belle lied.

Hermione and Belle squealed knowing they were in the same house.

As for Harry, he squealed to himself.

~~~~~~Off the Train~~~~~~
Draco looked for Belle when he got off the train but didn’t like what he saw when he got off. She was chatting it up with the Golden Trio. Can you say jealousy?
While everyone was trying to get a carriage, Belle was being pushed towards an empty one unnoticed.
“Draco…” Belle said, knowing who it was, “What will Hermione say when she turns around with a carriage and I’m not there.”
“She’ll think you got some friends.”
Belle stopped him and turned around to face him, “She’ll think I ditched her.”
“Then I’ll tell her with all my apologies…”
“Draco…” Belle said, warningly, she noticed something different from the Draco Malfoy she knew. There was sadness in his face, hurt, and loneliness…
“Oh, Draco, darling, I miss you too but the mission… I promise. I’ll find a way that we’ll get together.” Belle said promisingly. She ran a little bit, turned around, blew a kiss, and ran back to the trio.
“Where were you, Belle?” Harry asked.
“Got lost in the crowd…” Belle lied.
“C’mon, we’ve got a carriage,” Ron said, opening the door.
Harry helped Belle into the carriage and they were off to the castle.
Hermione filled Belle in on everything she knew after the ceremony and the day before classes. They stayed up until ten in the common room, with Hermione looking at a book to refresh her memory and Ron asleep on the couch because he was so bored.
What they didn’t notice was that Belle and Harry were also asleep. Belle’s head fit right into Harry’s neck and Harry’s arm was around her shoulder.
Hermione looked up from her book and laughed to herself, waking Ron up and pushing him to the boy’s dormitory stairs.
The common room clock chimed eleven and because Belle’s a light sleeper, she woke up and noticed where she was.
‘Thank God Draco wasn’t here…’ Belle thought to herself while running upstairs to her room.
The next morning, everyone came downstairs to go to class and laughed at the sleeping Harry. Hermione and Ron came downstairs and laughed as well. Belle came shortly after them and once everybody left (except Hermione and Ron, still waiting for Belle and Harry), Belle sat next to Harry and gave him a peck on the cheek. Harry groaned and his eyes opened to Belle and he smiled.
“You’re going to be late for breakfast, darling,” Belle said, standing up. She and Hermione left, giggling with each other.
A few minutes later, Ron and Harry joined the duo at the Great Hall. Draco caught Belle’s eye and smiled a bit before Harry noticed.
“Do you and Malfoy know each other?” Harry asked, aggravated.
“That blond boy over there?” Harry nodded and Belle shook her head.
“Good. Don’t get to know him, Belle; he’s not a good person.” Harry said. Once Harry said this, Belle felt a shot of guilt from within her rib cage but wouldn’t let it show because Harry leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips.
“C’mon Belle, we have the same classes!” Hermione exclaimed, taking Belle by the hand so they could go freak out about what just happened.
Draco couldn’t believe what he just saw! He felt like going over there to kill Potter but Goyle pushed him to remind him why he couldn’t do that. That was the Dark Lord’s job. The faster they get this over with, the better…
A few weeks later, Belle was really ahead in all of her classes. Hermione, Belle, and a few other students were asked to tutor some students. Since everyone else didn’t want to be unfair and get their friends, they all got together and choose out of a hat.
This gave Belle an idea. When Hermione put the hat down, Belle was all smiles. Hermione picked out of the hat and got Harry and Ron in Potions.
“That should be fun…” Hermione said, throwing the paper down. While Hermione was continuing to complain how bad it was, Belle swiftly took her wand out.
“Draco Malfoy and Gregory Goyle in Herbology,” Belle said, flatly.
“That’s going to be grand. Let’s picture how we’re gonna tell Harry, shall we?” Hermione said.
Hermione and Belle laughed at this. They went into the common room where Ron and Harry were and sat on the couch. Hermione and Belle looked at each other and Belle had wished she hasn’t done that. It was a positive for herself and her mission but still, for some odd reason, she didn’t want to hurt Harry like that.
“Where were you guys?” Ron asked, moving over to Hermione’s side. Belle looked down and Hermione knew their joke had become something bad for Belle.
“We put names in a hat of who we could tutor. McGonagall asked us to tutor some people,” Hermione answered, shifting slightly.
“So who’d our lucky ladies get?” Harry asked, moving over to Belle.
“Well I got you two in Potions and Belle got…” Hermione started.
“I’m helping Malfoy and Goyle in Herbology,” Belle said, looking down.
“What? Um… would you like me to talk to Professor McGonagall, Belle?” Harry asked, noticing how much Belle didn’t want to do that.
“I can’t change it,” Belle stated flatly.
“Well, it seems like there’s more bothering you then that,” Harry said, pulling Belle away from the group.
“There is…” Belle started but stopped herself. She didn’t know how to tell Harry this, “I didn’t want to tell you actually cause I knew you’d get mad and jealous.”
“Of course I’ll be jealous! My arch enemy being tutored by the girl I like!” Harry screamed sarcastically. Belle laughed along and he pulled her into a hug.
“Thanks for the support, Harry. I really appreciate it,” Belle said, smiling.
The next Saturday, Harry and Belle came downstairs into the common room and went right to each other. Belle held him for as long as she could because she knew he’d be mad about the first day of tutoring with Draco. Harry put his arm around Belle and they walked to the Great Hall. Once they got inside, they heard a smooth voice from behind them.
“So, Potter, is Belle here a good shag?” Belle turned around with Harry to find a smirking Draco. Belle looked behind him to see Greg giving her a sympathetic look. She gave him a weak smile that wasn’t noticed.
“You’re just lucky that Belle’s your tutor, Malfoy. If you do anything to her, then I will most definitely…” Harry started. Before Harry could continue, Belle got between them, facing Harry, took his hand, and pulled him to their table.
“Don’t worry about it…” Belle said. Once they got to the table, Belle could still see the distraught in Harry’s face. She decided to pull him into a hug but kept her face in front of his so she could put her lips on top of his. After a few seconds, Harry started kissing Belle back. There were wolf whistles (most likely from the Weasley twins) and gasps of shock. They separated and she saw Draco out of her the corner of her eye.
She didn’t know whether to feel guilty about doing that to Draco or happy about helping Harry. She knew that she’d be getting it from Draco later today but personally right now, she didn’t care.
She put her hand in his and they sat down together. People were still shocked but they didn’t care. They just kept smiling at each other, happy about what just happened.
After breakfast, Harry gave Belle a passionate kiss before turning around and leaving with Ron. Hermione came over to Belle and they squealed before hugging. Hermione ran after the boys and waved. Once the trio was around the corner, a hand went over Belle’s mouth.
She was about to scream for Harry when she noticed the scent. She knew why this was happening.
“What the bloody hell was that for earlier?!” Draco screamed at Belle when they were in the Room of Requirement. Greg wasn’t there so Belle knew that Draco had understood that this was their time to be alone.
“You were mine first! Not Potter’s! I’ve known you my whole life and it took about a week ago for you to kiss me let alone hold my hand! It took Potter less than a week! I would like an explanation, Belle!” Draco screamed at her. Belle didn’t know what to say. She didn’t think that it’d hurt Draco this much.
“I didn’t think it would bother you…” Belle said quietly.
“Why would it bother me?! It’s just the girl I’ve fallen for kissing my enemy!” Draco screamed sarcastically.
“You’ve fallen for me?” Belle whispered. She felt even worse. She sat down and put her face in her hands. She was more confused than ever. She couldn’t help but start crying.
“What’s wrong?” Draco asked, his expression changing. He left from where he was and sat next to Belle and put his arm around her.
“I’m so confused! I’m supposed to be doing my mission and I tried my best to get together with you unsuspected! I’m sorry if I do anything else to make you jealous, Draco. It’s just that if Harry had hurt you, I’d probably make out with you after the fact,” Belle stated.
“Well, Potter has hurt me… very much so,” Draco stated, moving closer to Belle.
“How so?” Belle asked, moving closer to Draco.
“For doing this…” Draco said, kissing Belle but much more fiercely than Harry had. They kissed for as long as possible before they were out of breath.
“I missed you.”
“I missed you more.”
“What if Voldemort finds out?”
“He won’t,” Draco smiled while kissing her again until she had to leave him to go back to his enemy. He hated letting go of her but he had to.
