Hey girl you know you drive me crazy
one look puts the rhythm in my hand.
Still I'll never understand why you hang around
I see what's going down.

Hermione sat on the windowsill of the head's dormitories. She watched the rain slide down the glass.

Draco, who she had befriended, walked into the common room to see her staring into nothingness, silent tears streaming down her face.

Draco decided she was just having a bad day and didn't want to be talked to. All girls had those, right?

Cover up with make up in the mirror
tell yourself it's never gonna happen again
you cry alone and then he swears he loves you.

The next morning, Hermione was standing in the bathroom in front of the mirror putting on cover up. Draco walked in on her.

He saw the bruises that she had been trying to hide. She dropped the cover up and turned away from him.

He grabbed her hand and asked what happened. She told him she fell.

"Well, then why would you cover it up? Lots of people fall every day, Hermione." He told her. She pulled down her sleeves farther as he started to get suspicious.

He noticed this movement, and quickly jerked her sleeves up.

"It's Viktor, isn't it?" He whispered. Hermione nodded silently as Draco walked out of the bathroom.

Do you feel like a man
when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found.

"Leave her alone!" Draco said as Viktor ran into him. Viktor was a good 3 inches taller than him.

"Vaht the hell are you talking about?" Viktor asked in his thick accent.

"I saw all the bruises. Now leave her alone." Draco said. "Your lies don't work with me. You know exactly what I'm talking about!"

"Make me. It's not like you have proof that I did anything!" Viktor smirked.

"Does it make you feel good when you push her around?" Draco asked. "Does it make you feel like a man? Well guess what, that's just wrong."

A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect
every action in this world will bear a consequence
If you wade around forever you will surely drown
I see what's going down.

"I don't know why you're still with him." Draco said to Hermione.

"Because he loves me." Hermione says defensively.

"You know that's not true, Mya!" Draco yelled.

Hermione hid her face shamefully.

I see the way you go and say your right again,
say your right again
heed my lecture

"You need to leave him, Hermione." Draco pressured.

"He loves me. I know it." Hermione said skeptically.

"If he did, he wouldn't beat you." Draco explained. Hermione went up into her room, slamming the door behind her. Draco heard the click of her lock.

Do you feel like a man
when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down a new life she has.

Viktor waited in the Three Broomsticks for Hermione. 15 minutes passed. 30 minutes passed. An hour passed. She wasn't there.

One day she will tell you that she has had enough
its coming round again.
One day she will tell you that she has had enough
its coming round again.

Draco walked into the Three Broomsticks and saw Viktor.

"She's not coming." Draco said.

"How do you know?" Viktor glared.

"Because she's crying in her room." Draco said. "Because of you." Draco turned around and walked to Honeydukes.

Do you feel like a man, when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down, a new life she has.

At Honeydukes, Draco bought Hermione some chocolate. His father had told him that chocolate was an anti-depressant for women.

His mother was rather moody when she was pregnant for Draco.

He wanted to make Hermione feel better.

Face down in the dirt she says, this doesn't hurt she says I finally had enough..
Face down in the dirt she says, this doesn't hurt she says I finally had enough..
Draco went up to Hermione's door and knocked lightly.

"What?" Her voice called.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

Silence.

The door creaked open. He walked into her room and handed her the chocolate.

"It doesn't hurt anymore. You were right. I've had enough." She admitted. Draco gave
her a reassuring smile. She hugged him.

"Hermione?" Draco whispered.

"Yeah?"

"You know, I never really hated you." He told her. She was silent. "I love you."
