Disclaimer-I do not own the character's, only the plot!

A/N-I hope you enjoy it. In the next chapter, the game begins......I think! : ) I'd also like to thank my amazing beta Trina216, who could be my best friend on this site! *hehe* I owe more than half the story to her!

Chapter 1
A Review of Summer

"I still can't believe this is our last day here!" Hermione exclaimed, tears welling in her glistening, brown eyes. She slumped into the nearest common room chair.

"It's okay Hermione." Ron said, sitting down next to her. Ron still hadn't told Hermione how he felt, though Harry did notice they grew closer together over the summer. Harry couldn't help but smile.

"What are you smiling at?" Ron asked Harry, suspiciously eyeing him.

"Oh, nothing." Harry said, still smiling at both of them, with Ron still watching him carefully. Just then visions of the final battle came into his mind.

'The final battle' Harry thought drifting into a daydream.

"Okay, if I tell you to run, run. Got it?" Harry asked looking at Ron and Hermione who were standing next to each other while he was reciting Dumbledore's instructions to them.
"Got it," Hermione and Ron said together.

"If I tell you to hide, hide." Harry said sternly, now thinking of the locket that still at this present time lies in the bottom of his pocket.

"This is going to be the hardest thing yet, even harder than the Horcruxes." Harry said, looking eye to eye with them, thinking of Voldemort.

"I also have some news. I know you guys won't like it a lot, but you will have to follow." Harry said, bending down to look at his feet, ashamedly.

"What is it, Harry?" Hermione asked concerned, bending down to try to make eye contact with him.

"Well, um....the Order and I had a talk........." Harry started off slowly, still looking down.

"When did you have a talk with the Order without us?" Ron asked, anger starting to fill him.

"Ron, let him finish," Hermione said quietly, knowing whatever Harry was about to say had to be important.

"Well first off, they decided that since I am of age I can join," Harry said, guilt weighing him down for not telling them sooner.

"That's not fair. Hermione and I should be able to join to then," Ron said, now angry.

"I said let him finish," Hermione said through gritted teeth angirly glaring at Ron for not listening to her.

"Well first off not everyone was happy letting me join. We decided that once I find Voldemort everyone who went to the battle and survives will leave me there." Harry rushed still looking at his feet instead of facing his friends.

"Wait, what?" Ron asked thinking he had heard wrong.

" know who I mean by 'everyone not happy letting me join'." Harry said in a matter-of-fact voice. They knew he meant Mrs. Weasley. She was always concerned for Harry.

"Not that, the other part." Ron said, annoyed.

"Okay well once I find Voldemort or vice versa all of the people who survive will take a Portkey back to the Burrow and wait to find out what happens." Harry finished finally looking up at Hermione's concerned, sad face and Ron's confused, sad face.

"You know we can't do that to you, Harry." Hermione told him, kindly patting his arm.

"Yes, you can, and you will." Harry said, angry. And with that he stormed out of the Burrow to start the fight with Ron and Hermione closely behind.

"Harry! Harry?" Ron asked, yelling in Harry's face, waving his arms around wildly.

"What?" Harry asked returning to reality.

"Are you okay, Harry?" Hermione asked him, with a worried expression on her face.

"Ya, I'm fine," Harry said, now true to his word.

"Are you sure?" Hermione asked, still worried. Ever since the final battle Hermione had been worried for Harry, making sure he is all right all the time.

"Yes, I am positive," Harry said, starting to get a little annoyed.

"We better get to the Great Hall for breakfast, so we won't be late for class," Hermione said changing the subject before Harry could blow up at her for being too concerned.

"You're right," Harry said, as a wave of relief washed over him before anything else was said.

"I wonder what's for breakfast," Ron wondered aloud, hungry as usual.

And with that, the trio gathered up their books and headed for the door to the Great Hall.

Sorry to all readers, this was just a little tweaking of the story before I start a new story and add a new chapter to this. Sorry that it's taking so long! I want to make sure the next chapter is perfect and I wanted to put up a few new stories. Thank you to all who have reviewed so far!
