A//N, gahh my writing style was almost unbareable to read while I was revising this chapter *shutters*, anyways, I don't really like this one, but I do love Ginny, so this chapter is fully devoted to her (:
Draco stared up at the ceiling. He was currently in his room, lying in his bed thinking of none other than Hermione Granger.

She was a bloody genius, she was a muggle born, she was a Gryffindor, and she was best friends with Harry Potter, the boy-who-wouldn’t-die, and those were all reason’s why he Draco Malfoy, son of Lucius Malfoy; who had been a death eater, a pureblood, a Slytherin, why he should hate her, but he didn’t. Draco couldn’t even make himself dislike the girl.

She was charming, beautiful, clever, and the brightest witch of his generation. She was everything his mum had wanted in a wife for her son.
Draco found himself grinning at the thought of marrying Granger; she’d probably black his eye for even considering it.

Draco sighed and stood up from his dead, he accepted it, he, Draco Malfoy fancied Hermione Granger.

Then fear seized his heart, what id his father learned of this? That would surely mean death for Hermione.

Draco shook his head, he’d protect her, plus, it wasn’t as if they’d ever get that serious to the point were Lucius would find out and come and murder her. Right?

Draco bit his lip, and ran a hand through his hair, he needed to go and find Granger and tell her that this wasn’t going to work, if couldn’t have all of her, he didn’t want her at all, and as long as Lucius was alive, he couldn’t love Hermione Granger.

Draco left his room, and then walked out the portrait whole to look for Hermione.

His eyes wandered the great hall, his brows furrowed, where was she? It was dinner; she should be her. His eyes rested on the Potter and Weasly and he growled.

Shouldn’t they be looking for her to instead of stuffing their faces?

Then his eyes landed on the youngest of Weasley brats.

She looked like she was on a rampage, coming to let it out on him. Her eyes signaled to the door. He got the point and went out, she followed.

“Malfoy, how you got the smartest witch of our age to fall in love with the likes of you is beyond me, but so help me God, if you hurt her I will personally see that ALL my brothers get a hold of you, then Harry can have a go, and then I’ll finish you off myself!” hissed Ginny.

Draco didn’t look the least bit phased, “Oh, good, then because of your little rant you obviously know where she is?”

Ginny’s hand itched to slap the smirk off his face, “What in the hell makes you think I would tell you?”

Draco smiled lazily, “Because if you look in my eyes, you will see that I mean no harm, and only good, and that I care a great deal about her, and because of the Gryffindor in you, after you see this, you’ll tell me.”

Ginny’s brown eyes narrowed in anger, she looked into his eyes and gasped he was telling the truth.

“She’s in the empty class room on the 3rd floor,” she offered weakly.

Draco chuckled and patted her shoulder and turned and ran straight to Hermione.

He entered the abandoned classroom and saw her on the floor lying against the wall staring out the window.

He frowned, ‘What had Ginny said to her?’

“Hermione?” he called gently.

She jumped about a mile. Brown met silver.

His eyes narrowed when he saw the tears.

He kneeled before her and traced her tears with his thumb, then kissed the away. “Love, why didn’t you come to me after you told her?”

Hermione shook her head in denial, “You would only make it worse! Ginny hates me,” a sob escaped her mouth.

“Hon’, Ginny could never hate you! I don’t think any one could, I mean, even I couldn’t!”

Draco’s face become all scrunched up at the thought, he had really wanted to hate the girl before him, but as he looked down at her, and saw her tear filled eyes, his heart went out to her, no, he could never hate her.

Hermione laughed, that was true.

She looked up at him with love lit eyes and he nearly fell apart. Gods, how fast he’d fallen for her. Was he ready?

Yes, looking in her eyes he knew he was ready. He would lay down his life for her; kill any one who dared hurt her, do anything she asked, because he loved her, she had turned him into a bloody Gryffindor.

‘Fantastic, father shall be so proud,’ he thought sarcastically.

Hermione stared at Draco as she watched multiple emotions play out across his face, she smiled as she watched his face become all scrunched up, he truly was amazing. Hermione found herself leaning forward, she felt his arms wrap around her, and she felt safe. She smiled into his shoulder; she could learn to love this boy. She really could, plus, he smelled rather nice.

“Draco?” she called out gently.

“Mhmm, yes, love?”

Hermione shivered at Draco’s term of endearment, “I’ve made up my mind.”

Draco pulled away and looked into her eyes, “What is your decision,” he knew exactly what she was talking about.

Hermione smirked at him, “I want us… I want you.”

Hermione blushed; she had such a way with words, mused Draco.

He leaned in and pressed his lips to her, and then said in a sarcastic tone of voice, but he truly meant every word, “Then, sweeting you shall have me.”

He stood up, and then held a hand out for her, she grinned as she took it. Then as he stared into her brown eyes, all he could think about was how his father would react.
A//N: So please, inform of how I'm doing so far? I welcome all constructive criticism, but I'd much rather nice, happy reviews, so feel free for whatever (:
