Scenes from last time:

"Alex? What are you doing up so early.... in yesterday's clothes?" the person asked, confused and surprised.

Alex cursed herself for getting caught; the one person she didn't want to see had caught her -- Scarlett.

"Crap," Alex muttered to herself so that Scarlett couldn't hear. "What are you doing up so early?" this was directed at Scarlett.

"I asked you first," Scarlett shot back, folding her arms across her chest.

"I was.. sending a letter, not that you care," Alex lied, hesitating ever so slightly.

Scarlett was not fooled by Alex's lie and looked at her suspiciously. Alex continued, "So if you wouldn't mind, please let me passed so I could change." But Scarlett didn't budge.

"You were with Draco all night, weren't you?" Scarlett accused.

Alex didn't know how to respond. "So what if I was?" she snapped childishly.

"How could you do that Alex? You knew how much I liked him. You knew that I was after him and yet you still have to interfere and steal him from me!" Scarlett exclaimed.

"What are you talking about? You're the one who ruined my love life. You knew that I liked Harry! You stole him from me! I'm not the bad guy, you are!" Alex was not going to let Scarlett think that she had started this whole thing.

Scarlett's ears turned red with anger. She knew that Alex was right but she couldn't let her get her way. When Alex tried to get passed again, Scarlett pushed her back. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Alex exclaimed angrily because she had almost fallen down the stairs.

Scarlett came towards her and pushed her again. On impulse, Alex grabbed a lock of her hair and pulled. Scarlett screamed and Alex soon joined her when the two girls fell down the stairs and rolled to the bottom. Once they were on their feet again, they resumed their punching, scratching, hair-pulling, and yelling.

"Ouch, you bitch!" Alex exclaimed when Scarlett's sharp nail cut her cheek.

"Whore!" Scarlett shot back when Alex had punched her in her jaw. Scarlett pushed Alex to the ground and fell on top of her in the process. She proceeded to scratch, bite, and hit Alex.

"Get off of me you freak!" Alex managed to get out between her screams. She pushed Scarlett over so she had the advantage of being on top but she only got one scratch in before Scarlett overpowered her again. For such a small girl, Scarlett was pretty strong. The girls continued fighting and ignored the footsteps they heard coming from one of the stair cases.

"Bloody hell," Ernie McMillan said when he reached the common room. He had heard yelling which had woken him up. He then made Anthony Goldstein, a fellow seventh year, get up as well, so they could both check out what was going on. To his surprise, he had found Scarlett and Alex (in his opinion the hottest girls at Hogwarts) rolling around on the floor, fighting. He glanced at Anthony and knew that they were both thinking the same thing -- their wildest fantasies were coming true. Anthony was the first to snap back to his senses.

"Help me," Anthony called to Ernie as he tried to separate the two girls. Anthony grabbed Alex by the waist and pulled her off of Scarlett. Ernie was restraining Scarlett. Both girls were breathing hard, each with their own set of fresh battle wounds.

"What's going on here?" Ernie asked.

"She started it. Why don't you ask her?" Alex said with disgust dripping from her words. She had a long cut across her cheek that was now bleeding freely. She had scratches on her arms, and as far as she could tell, a shiny black eye.

Scarlett glared at her. She was bleeding from her lip, which was swollen from when Alex had punched her. She was also bleeding from a cut on her forehead and she had a head ache from all the hair pulling Alex was doing.

"Scarlett?" Anthony asked, looking for an answer to Ernie's question.

"She pushed me so I pushed her back but I didn't do anything.." Scarlett started. Once Alex heard where she was going with her story, Alex started telling her side of what happened. Both girls were trying to out do the other in volume and pretty soon both of them were just yelling. Scarlett had even tried to get out of Ernie's grasp and attack Alex again but Ernie held on to her.

"Alright, alright! Forget it, we don't want to know," Anthony yelled over the girls.

"Let's get you two to the hospital wing," Ernie suggested. The two girls protested but Anthony and Ernie lead them to the hospital wing. They were careful not to have the two girls walking next to each other so Ernie and Scarlett went first and Anthony and Alex followed a few minutes after. When they all reached the hospital wing, Madame Pomfrey was very surprised.

"What has happened here?" she exclaimed, looking from the two girls to the two boys. "Dear Merlin, it's not even eight o'clock yet."

"Well, these two got in a little fight," Ernie said, motioning to the two girls.

Madame Pomfrey moved forward to take the two girls to separate beds. "Yes well, come here, let me fix you two up," she said, obviously not really caring what had happened. "And um, fifteen points each away from your house."

After a half hour of sitting in the hospital wing, both girls were allowed to leave. Scarlett's cuts were healed but there was a small scar on her head that she was told would fade shortly. She was also given a potion for her headache. Alex's black eye was masked and was healing but it was still tender and hurt if she touched it. The cut across her cheek was healed easily and her scratches were gone. The boys had waited for them to be done, not wanting them to start fighting again. This time Alex and Anthony were the first ones to leave.

"Thanks, for, er, everything. You didn't have to wait for me," Alex said as she walked back with Anthony.

"I think I kind of had to or else who knows what would have happened between you and Scarlett." he said. This made Alex giggle a little.

"I guess you're right," she smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Alex, well I was thinking..." Anthony trailed off, gathering his thoughts.

'Oh, Merlin. He's going to ask me out. That's the last thing I need. Doesn't he know that I'm with Draco? Please don't ask me out, please don't ask me out,' Scarlett thought, preparing herself to let him down gently.

"Well, I know you're really smart and all, so I was wondering.. if maybe you could help me in Transfiguration? McGonnagal is always on my back about homework and stuff and she's said that I need a tutor on more than one occasion..." Anthony looked at her.

Alex suppressed a giggle. How could she have been so conceited? He didn't want to ask her out, he just wanted help on his school work. Alex was very relieved. "Sure, I'll help you. Just tell me when you want to get started and I'll be happy to tutor you." she said with a smile.

Anthony smiled back. "Thank you so much, Alex. I really appreciate it," he said, giving her a big bear hug.

Alex hugged him back. "No problem." The two continued to talk about how much help Anthony was going to need and when it would be good for the two of them to get together. When they finally reached the common room, the went their separate ways up to their dormitories. Scarlett joined Alex a few minutes later, but luckily for Alex, she ignored the fact that they were in the same room.

Alex laid in her bed for an hour since it was Saturday and it was very early. She had even fallen into a light sleep. When she woke up, she felt more rested than before. It was now nine o'clock. The girls in the room were beginning to stir. Alex decided to get up and take a shower before the other girls got there first. She grabbed her favorite hip-hugging jeans and a cute green shirt. She finished her shower, dressed, brushed her teeth and hair, and dried her hair with a quick spell.

She felt so refreshed when she was done. She didn't want to go down to breakfast though. She was nervous about seeing Draco after the night that they had together. Instead, she sat in the common room, in front of the fire, listening as the common room began to stir. Padma came down the stairs twenty minutes later. She spotted Alex sitting in an arm chair and went over to her. She grabbed her arm, stood her up, and walked towards the portrait hole, motioning for her to follow.

"Where's the fire?" Alex asked, confused at Padma's behavior.

"Let me get this straight. You did what with Malfoy?" Padma exclaimed. She looked horrified.

Alex suddenly regretted it. "I, well, we, er, we went all the way," she said sheepishly.

Then Padma said something Alex didn't expect. "Was it good?" she asked, a smile playing on her lips.

Alex laughed, "Bloody hell, yes!" she smiled.

"You know, Scarlett is really pissed. I also heard about your fight this morning from Ernie."

Alex looked at the ground. "Oh, you heard about that?" she mumbled.

"Yeah. You do realize that you and Draco only got together like, two days ago, right? You said that you were just getting with him to get back at Scarlett; which you did, but I didn't know it meant you were going to sleep with him!" Padma looked at Alex waiting for an answer.

"I know that's what I said, but he's so... yummy," she smirked.

"I'll be the first one to agree with you but I thought you liked Harry."

This made Alex stop short. "Harry," she said softly to herself. She thought for a moment about what he had said to her in the corridor. She decided to tell what happened between them to Padma. "I don't know anymore," she concluded. "I like Harry, and now I know he likes me too, but Draco and I just... well you know. I'm so confused." she exclaimed.

Padma gave her a sympathetic look. "I understand how you feel. You need to figure this out by yourself, in your own way." She then changed the subject and started to walk down to breakfast with Alex.

When they reached the main entrance hall, Alex was feeling rather nervous again. Luckily she hadn't seen Draco anywhere. She waited for Padma, who had been stopped by Parvati for a quick word about a lost sweater, and looked around the entrance. Harry had walked down the stairs with Ron. 'Please don't see me, please don't see me,' she pleaded silently in her head. She tried to discreetly hide behind Padma but it was no use. He had seen her.

"Hey Alex," he said softly, coming up to her. He pulled her aside and smiled at her. She really didn't want to see him so early but she had no choice.

"What's up, Harry?" she said, coolly.

"I don't want to push you to a decision, but I can't sleep waiting for your answer." he confessed. 'He's so cute when he's embarrassed,' she thought.

"Harry, you know I like you, but I haven't made up my mind yet. There's so much drama that would take place if we did decide to get together," she said truthfully. He obviously hadn't heard that she had shagged Draco because if he did he probably would be pissed at her.

"I understand. I can wait," he smiled at her again before kissing her cheek. "I'll see you around then," and with that he joined Ron again and they proceeded into the Great Hall for breakfast.

Padma joined her again. "So, what did you tell him?" she asked, curiously.

"I told him the truth. I didn't make up my mind yet," Alex said simply. They walked into the Great Hall and sat at the Ravenclaw table. They talked and ate their breakfast, ignoring the dirty looks Scarlett was throwing her way. Alex was glad for an excuse to get her mind off everything for a little bit. She didn't even notice Draco walk in. At the end of breakfast, Padma told Alex that she needed to return Parvati's 'lost' sweater and Alex agreed to come along. They walked together back up to the Ravenclaw common room talking about the first Hogsmeade weekend, which was the following Saturday. Just as they were approaching the portrait hole, Draco strolled towards them from the opposite direction.

"I'll go get it, you stay out here." Padma said to Alex before saying the password and entering the common room.

Alex looked at him nervously. Draco smiled at Alex and scooped her up in his arms, giving her one of the best kisses she ever had.

"I guess you're happy to see me?" she asked shyly when he put her down. Her cheeks were flushed and her knees were a bit wobbly. She wrapped her arms around his neck to support herself.

"You can say that," Draco said in a sexy voice. Alex giggled. "Did I ever tell you that you were amazing?"

"No, did I ever tell you that you were sexy?" she countered.

He raised an eyebrow. "Who would have thought that one night could get me complements?" he teased. Alex's smiled faltered a bit, thinking of the previous night. It stayed on her face though.

"Last night was..." she trailed off, looking for the right words.

Draco held her gaze and smirked. "Incredible, wonderful, terrific, bloody brilliant!" he offered, his eyes filled with happiness and lust.

"I think that about sums it up," she laughed. His lips crashed down on hers and she smiled against them before letting his tongue enter her mouth. Draco's hand found the small of her back and he was drawing small circles there with his thumb, making shivers go down her spine. She entwined her fingers in his hair and deepened the kiss. Just then, somebody cleared their throat. Alex pulled herself away from Draco's intoxicating lips.

"Sorry, you two. I just didn't feel like talking to Becky any longer," Padma said, winking at Alex who knew she had been stalling to give them time. She was now carrying the sweater. Alex's cheeks turned pink from embarrassment. Draco's hand squeezed her waist.

"I have to go, Quidditch practice all day today. Big game against the Gryffindors tomorrow," he said, pulling her to him again. She kissed his lips lightly and was about to pull away when he grabbed the back of her head and encircled her waist with his free arm so she couldn't get away. When he finally let go, she slapped him playfully in the arm.

"You guys really need to stop the PDA," Padma stated. Alex blushed even more. Draco and Alex said good bye and they went their separate ways.

"So, why is Parvati in such desperate need for this sweater?" Alex asked her friend.

"She has a date tonight in Hogsmeade," Padma replied.

"With who?" Alex asked curiously. The girls were nearing the Gryffindor common room now.

"Seamus. She's really excited," Padma said. Alex took the sweater out of Padma's hands and examined it. It was indeed very pretty. It was ivory and had little flowers embroidered in the collar which was a v-neck. Padma said the password when they stood in front of the Fat Lady's portrait. The Fat Lady gave them a you're-not-supposed-to-know-the-password type look.

Padma went over to Parvati who was sitting with Lavender, to give her the sweater. Alex decided to talk to Hermione. They were deep in conversation about a very long Potions essay when Harry stormed into the common room, looking furious. Ron followed closely behind him, trying to calm him down.

"Harry, mate, just wait a second. You've got to calm down, mate." Ron said to him, trying to sit him in a chair. It was no use.

"Calm down? Bloody hell, you of all people should understand, Ron," Harry exclaimed.

"Alex, can you excuse me for a minute?" Hermione asked, looking over at her two best friends.

"Of course, go ahead," Alex said, nodding.

Harry looked at Hermione. "Harry, what's wrong?" she asked cautiously, knowing how his temper could flare. He looked at where she came from and spotted Alex.

"Not now, Hermione," he said, pushing past her and walking over to Alex. Everyone in the common room was looking at him now. Ron noticed and when Harry was pulling Alex out of the room, he spoke to everyone in the common room.

"Go back to your lives, people. Nothing to see here," he called.

"Harry, what's going on?" Alex asked him as he lead her up to the boys dormitories for some privacy. He ignored her until they had reached the top of the stairs.

"In here," he said, pointing to the seventh year boys dorm. He let her go in first, then locked the door behind her. She was afraid that he was going to let out his rage on her, so she didn't speak. Instead, she gave him a questioning look. He looked at her for a long moment, examining her eyes with his. She could see that he was trying to get his emotions in control.

When he spoke, his voice was calm but it wavered a bit. He asked the question she dreaded. She felt terrible as soon as it passed his lips. "Did you sleep with Malfoy?"
