Disclaimer: We don’t own anything…

POV: Sirius

As if Moony wasn’t unconfident enough about mine and Laura’s actual status, now he’s sure I’ve stolen her from him. He avoids me and we haven’t spoken for days. Prongs reckons he hates me. I think the worst of it is that he knows I don’t like Laura and may have done it as a spur of a moment type of thing.

“Well I can’t blame him for thinking it, I mean he caught you pulling me back out of a closet and laughing.” Laura said as we sat by our “shagging fountain” in the courtyard.

“True, and before I met you I didn’t really stick to one girl…”

“I’m quite aware of that,” she said in a strangled sort of voice.

“I mean it was not odd for me to snog random girls in broom closets…” I added.

“Once again I’m very aware of that.” She squirmed a little in her seat.

“Anyway what are we going to do?” I said, resting my arm on her shoulder. She kind of stared at my arm on her. Honestly I’ve had her boobs thrust at me, been tackled into a fountain, and sat on by her. Why is it when I give any sort of physical contact with her she seems to be surprised? Just to make fun of this I laid my head on her lap.

“Erm…I dunno maybe Tanya could tell him the truth. She was rather excited to find out you and I were supposedly ‘snogging’ in a broom closet. This was after I started talking to her again…”

Then she did something funny, she stroked my hair.

“Oh, I see you two are having fun!”

Moony had walked into the courtyard. I immediately sat up.

“It’s not what it looks like!” I said, now on my feet.

“Whatever. I don’t care what you two do!” he said, turning back inside. I sat back down next to Laura.

“Brilliant, just brilliant,” Laura said tilting her head onto my shoulder. “What are we going to do now?”

“I dunno.”

POV: Remus

I can’t believe I’ve been so stupid. I actually thought Sirius would be able to not be himself, but I guess that’s not true. He just had to go and steal Laura. Actually, it wasn’t exactly stealing. I never had her.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not mad at Sirius. It’s my own fault. I should have known that this would have happened. But, it’s probably for the better. And she deserves someone better than me anyway.

Walking into the library, I saw Tanya sitting at a table near the back. I didn’t particularly feel like being around anyone at the moment. However, she waved at me and motioned for to me come sit at her table. I didn’t want to ignore her, so I headed toward the back of the library.

I slumped down in the chair. Tanya, upon seeing the look on my face, asked me what was wrong.

“Sirius,” I responded. Then I added after a second, “And a bit of Laura as well, I suppose.” I paused again. “But mostly me.”

“Oh. What happened?”

“Sirius likes Laura, doesn’t he? I guess I’ve just been too blind to see it…”

“What? Okay, you—“

Tanya was interrupted by some girl popping up beside our table from out of nowhere. She had straight, long, blonde hair and was not wearing the most covering clothes in the world. She was quite a bit on the chesty side as well…

“Remus!” she squealed in an ear-splittingly high voice.

Tanya cleared her throat loudly. “ANYWAY, I don’t—“

“Oh Remus! Do you know how cute you look when you’re deep in thought like that?”

“—think that—“

“You know, I don’t think that we’ve ever been properly introduced before…”

“—what was really—“

The other girl sighed. “Oh, Remus…”

“—happening, because—“

The girl moved in front of me, blocking Tanya from my sight.

Tanya lost it. “WOULD YOU GO AWAY, OR AT LEAST SHUT UP ALREADY! WE ARE TRYING TO HAVE AN IMPORTANT CONVERSATION HERE!”

The blonde girl stuck her nose high in the air and pursed her lips. “Well. I don’t know about you. But I am trying to talk to my man.”

Huh?

“YOUR man!” Tanya’s fists balled at her sides.

“Yes, isn’t that right, Remus darling?”

“Er…”

“See! I told you. And I think I speak for both of us when I say that we would rather not be in the presence of someone as… what’s the word? Oh, yes…plain, as you.”

Tanya bit her lip to try to keep her from yelling.

The blonde girl just kept going. “Perhaps you should go sit by Snape over there. He at least matches you in looks. Maybe even beats you…”

That, apparently, was the last straw.

Then she yelled at the girl. Really loudly. I didn’t know she could swear like that…

The girl put her hands on her hips. “Do you want to take this outside?”

“Whatever.”

Tanya began to stomp outside behind the girl, who was dragging me along with her.

A crowd of people was beginning to gather around us, including James, Laura, and Sirius. The girl had released me, and the three walked over towards me. I tried to edge away from Sirius, but James got in the way.

“Hey, Moony. Why the long face.”

I frowned and looked away.

“Aw, c’mon. Cheer up emo kid. I can tell this is going to be good.”

Sirius grinned and nodded. “Yeah, Moony. Your first girl fight! I’ve seen quite a few about me before. Hey…” He turned to look at Laura. “Weren’t you in one of those?”

Oh yeah, that definitely made me feel better.

Laura crossed her arms. “Well, that girl was flirting with you.”

Sirius and James both shrugged. “So?”

“And… er… well, Tanya was nearby… and…”

Tanya whipped around. “WHAT! What are you talking about?”

Laura mouthed something to Tanya that I couldn’t see. Tanya was about to say something back, but the blonde girl came behind her, and pushed her on to the ground.

“What now, biotch!”

Tanya stood up and looked at the scrape on her arm before saying, “What’s shoved up your arse?”

Laura jumped up and down and shouted. “Go Tanya!” I looked away from her.

“Bitch, please.”

Tanya rolled her eyes. “Oh, to hell with this.” She whipped her wand out and the blonde girl immediately turned the other direction, and ran away.

POV: Remus (A day later)

Tanya dragged me along the sixth floor corridor by the wrist. We were at a fast walking sort of pace. Tanya would probably have been sprinting if she didn’t have me in tow. She was walking rather loudly, and had a strong, determined look on her face. I was trying to look happy, or at least content. The sting of what happened with Laura still hadn’t worn off.

“Tanya, where are we going?”

“We’re going to find that room that Laura and Sirius found,” she responded without stopping or showing any sign of slowing.

“After hours? I thought you didn’t approve of that.”

“I didn’t. But Laura and Sirius always get to have all the fun. I want to try that today.” She paused for a second. “And maybe someday I will try again… if we don’t get caught, that is…” She shuddered, and then continued walking.

“Any particular reason you want to break rules all of a sudden?”

“No. Not really.”

We turned the corner and headed up to the seventh floor, jumping off the staircase just as it began to move.

“Alright.” She let go of my wrist and craned her head up to look at the large tapestry of some trolls dancing. “Ew.”

Undoubtedly, Tanya was thinking those trolls were ugly. She’d probably say the same thing if she saw me in werewolf form. Laura probably would too…

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Tanya said suddenly with a frown.

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Something’s wrong and you’re very sad.”

So much for trying to look happy. I probably should have tried harder.

“Can you tell very much? Do I look sad?”

“You don’t look much more sad than you’ve been looking lately. But you are more sad than usual right now, aren’t you?”

“Yeah… but it doesn’t matter. Don’t worry about it.”

“Well, if it’s about Laura… I’ve been meaning to tell you…”

We both froze at the distant echo of footsteps.

Tanya began frantically running back and forth. “We need somewhere to hide. We need somewhere to hide. It doesn’t matter what. We need somewhere to hide!

A door appeared in the wall where Sirius said the room should be, and we quickly entered it and slammed the door shut.

It was a small supply closet, crammed with dirty mops and bottles of Mrs. Skower’s All-Purpose Magical Mess Remover, among other things. There was barely enough room for one person to be able to comfortably squeeze in, let alone two people. Although the closet was pitch black, I could almost see Tanya scowling through the darkness.

“You’d think it would have given us more room to hide in.”

POV: Emmeline Vance

Kids these days.

They should be spending more of their time studying and less with their silly, romantic… I’m beginning to sound like my grandmother… but she is one of the Ministry’s most esteemed judges, you know.

Anyways, when I say “kids” I’m referring specifically to Laura Knight and Sirius Black.

I can deal with some harmless kissing here and there sometimes, but the things that go on with them! There are first years running around for Merlin’s sake! And those poor children who witnessed what went on in that fountain! In all my years… my 17 years! In all my years, I have never seen anything so vulgar… and in public too! They should be ashamed. Now, that incident in the shower… I just don’t want to relive that.

I would expect something more from friends of Tanya and Remus. They are always so well behaved. Not to mention, their grades are top notch; almost as good as mine. Tanya is even one of the seven students at Hogwarts that is being lent a timeturner to take extra classes. Yours truly has also been lent one, of course. I would never expect anything near what Sirius and Laura have done from them.

Oh my. I hear voices coming from inside that closet over there. It’s probably Laura and Sirius again.

I cautiously turned the doorknob, preparing to shield my eyed from the horror within.

I peeked inside the closet, and had to bring my hands up to my mouth to suppress my gasp of shock. Inside the closet were Remus and Tanya. Although both fully clothed (thankfully), they were pressed up against each other more than I thought was humanly possible.

“Well! I never!”

And then, I turned away and stormed off, too repulsed to say anything else.

POV Sirius

“No, really! I must know. Who are they for?” I asked for the fifteenth time as Laura and I walked down the halls. I MUST know who that black lace set is for!

“Okay, you really want to know? They were for you. Alright. There. I said it,” she said looking extremely frustrated. I paused for a moment.

What? For… me? I thought before realizing she was kidding.

“We both know that’s an outright lie,” I said, resting my arm on her shoulder with a smirk.

“Sure. It’s a lie. Whatever. Can we just move on with our lives?” she said, placing a hand on her forehead.

“Fine. Don’t tell me, but I will find out,” I said, elbowing her in the ribs.

As we turned a corner, I saw it. “It” being Severus Snape, who does not even deserve a name because names are reserved for human beings. He is scum not worthy of the human race and deserves to eat slugs.

“Well if it isn’t ickle Snivellus,” I said in a taunting voice. “You know what would be lovely? A dance. Do you know how to dance Snivellus?” I asked with a smirk. I was removing my wand from my back pocket. It opened its mouth to talk, but before it could answer, I whipped out my wand and shouted, “Tarantellagra!”

It’s legs start to dance wildly and I began to laugh when I felt a sharp pain in my arm. It was Laura’s hand, but it was latched to my forearm in a death grip. It’s legs stopped dancing and I turned to see Laura with her wand being lowered.

“You idio—“ was all I heard from Snape before being dragged forcefully out of the vicinity by my arm. The speed and strength that came from Laura was shocking. She only stopped when reached an empty corridor.

“WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? HONESTLY!” she shouted at me with such rage I was almost knocked off my feet.

“What?”

“I SAID—“

“I heard you. The bloody Americans heard you,” I said, cutting her off. “I mean, why are you so agro?”

“Are you that thick!?! You just attacked Snape for no reason!” she said a bit quieter.

“No reason? His existence is enough reason,” I said back, folding my arms.

“I can’t believe you Sirius Black! You’re being the exact person I used to think you were,” she said bitterly. She used my last name. That wasn’t good.

“And who would that be?” I asked coldly.

“A giant arsehole!” she retorted angrily, “God Sirius, do I even know you at all?”

She sighed, putting her hand to her head. She was leaning on the stone wall, staring at her shoes.

“Don’t be like this, of course you do,” I said, putting a hand under her chin and looking into her eyes. She pushed me away.

“Don’t touch me; it’s not going to work this time.”

“What?”

“You always do this! You always look at me with those eyes and I can’t be mad at you…” she said, turning away. Her voice sounded strained.

“Come on!” I exclaimed as I turned her back towards me by the shoulder. Her hazel eyes gleamed with tears before she quickly shut them and turned her head away. I melted. I can’t stand to see her cry and it always seems to be my fault on the rare occasion she does. I put my hand back under her chin and pulled her to face me. She blinked tears from her eyes with a look that told me she just wanted me to go away.

“I’m sorry,” I said softly. “Really, really sorry.”

“You…you have to promise you won’t do that again.”

She sniffed. I wiped away her tears and a bit of her bleeding mascara.

“I promise,” I said with a smile. Laura smiled back slightly. I leaned down (still holding her face) and kissed her on the cheek.

“Are we good?” I asked brightly as I let go of her face.

“Yeah we’re good,” she said as she opened her arms wide signaling for a hug. I smirked as I raised her up high by the waist and flung her over my shoulder.

“Ack! Sirius! I’m wearing a skirt!” she said with her torso over my left shoulder. She sounded sort of like someone who hates water as they get tossed in the lake. Her legs we flailing as I carried her into the courtyard.

“Come on, please let me down?” she said with a more relaxed and lighter tone.

“Not a chance.” I laughed. I’m thinking if we were dating, this would be the make up sex.

Yep, yep. We’ve asked YOU questions before, and now we want YOU to ask us questions. Ask us anything about Laura or Tanya and we’ll answer. That is… if you have anything to ask… if not… review!

Oh, and read Justasloonyasluna's one-shot Snow Angels. It's pretty awesome :)
