i>Another day is going by I'm thinking about you all the time~ Ron stared out the window, bright sunshine blinding him, but not bothering to peel his eyes away. ‘Maybe, if I burn my eyes out, I won’t see her every time I see a girl walk in the room and then I’ll forget about her . . .’ He inwardly sighed, finally tearing his eyes from the bright sky outside the window. Even after all these years, he still couldn’t forget that night, three years ago. Two seventeen year olds stood in the grounds of Hogwarts, underneath their favorite beech tree. “What were going to say, Hermione?” The boy with bright red hair that hung slightly into his clear blue eyes asked. Hermione tried to clear her throat, but it closed up and she simply shook her head and stared out at the lake only a few feet away. “Well,” Ron glanced at the girl with bushy curled hair and chocolaty brown eyes that he often found himself lost and drowned in, “I, guess, goodbye.” He walked away from her, his heart sinking slowly down in his chest, as he murmured to himself, “There’s one thing I want to say to you . . . I love you” ~But you're out there And I'm here waiting~ Everyday, Ron thought of her and every night, he fell into a slumber, wrapped in dreams of her. ~And I wrote this letter in my head Cuz so many things were left unsaid~ Every night, he sat at his desk, sucking his quill and wrote a letter, expressing his undying love for her, but his stubbornness always seemed to get the better of him, and the letter would be mere embers in the fire pit by the end of the evening. ~But now you're gone And I can't think straight~ Without Hermione, he didn’t feel like his full self, Hermione completed him, whether she knew that or not, he couldn’t like without her. ~ This could be the one last chance To make you understand~ He was never sure, since his late owls he would send her, didn’t pry into her personal business and their conversations by fire were fairly short, if she was dating anyone. At the end of each of their conversations, he felt this sensation in his chest that made him want to burst out how he felt. ~ I'd do anything Just to hold you in my arms To try to make you laugh~ He would run around the world if he could hold her in his loving embrace and never let go. Every time she laughed, his heart fluttered up and down, he would do anything, even hurt himself, minorly, to get her to laugh. ~Cuz somehow I can't put you in the past~ He had tried over and over, failing dismally each and every time, to get over her. First he had taken down her pictures and her letters that wallpapered his room along with Harry’s. Then he had attached extra sticky band-aids to his arms, with wires running out of them and said ’Hermione,’ each time he pulled one off. But nothing worked, and secretly in his heart, he didn’t want it to. ~I'd do anything Just to fall asleep with you~ Every night during his Hogwarts year he had dreamt of Hermione. But not just Hermione. Oh, no. One had been in a broom closet, the other on his hovering broomstick, another my the fire in the common room. And in each and every one, Hermione and Ron had fit together like a glove, their lips soft and gentle, passionate in their own way. ~ Will you remember me? Cuz I know I won't forget you~ He remembered graduation three years ago. She had looked so pretty in her beautiful dress during the after-ceremony. As they hugged at the beginning of the evening congratulating each other, Hermione and whispered to him and pled for him to never forget her. He had laughing and held her tightly. ‘I Could never forget you.’ He had said. ‘How could I ever forget, my ‘Mione? I will never forget you, as long as you never forget me,’ She had smiled up at him and said ‘That is something I could never do.’ ~ Together we broke all the rules Dreaming of dropping out of school And leave this place To never come back~ Too many to count were the adventure they had schemed and gone through with, a few causing hurt, others joy and laughter later. But all had been ventured into, their two best friends in the world by their side. He would always remember Hermione’s nagging, complaining, they would be caught and expelled. But with her at their side she always was able to devise a clever plan to get them out of any predicament. ~ So now maybe after all these years If you miss me have no fear I'll be here I'll be waiting~ Without another thought, he sat at his desk and began scratching away. He scribbled sheet after sheet of parchment, until dusk had gently drifted in and the night was soon approaching as star after star peeked out until, outside it was a velvety black sky, still scrawling out letters and words, trying with all his heart and mind to express his feelings. He only looked up from his work when he heard rain pitter pattering on the pane and had finally added his name with a flourish at the end, Your, Love, always and forever, Ronald Weasly And this time, the letter left his shaking hand to his owls leg, to out the window, as he threw Pig out into the cold, damp night air. ~ I close my eyes And all I see is you I close my eyes I try to sleep I can't forget you Nanana (....) And I'd do anything for you Nanana (....)~ That night, he fell into a sleep, draped in more dreams of his one and only. A.N.~ So what did you think? Did it match Hermione’s for you all who read it? Was it better? Worse? Tell me in a review! For those of you who haven’t read Hermione’s version (yet!) please tell me what I could do to improve! Anyone wanna make me a banner, otherwise, I’ll get my own. Tx so much for reading!
