Kassandra Stephens and Draco Malfoy grew up together and were the best of friends. But when Kassie is put into Hufflepuff her and Draco lose touch and she loses repect from her Slytherin family. When she enters her 5th year at Hogwarts she comes back from a summer of horrible secrets and has trouble talking to anyone, which causes alot of people amusement. Draco finds it disrespectful, especially after receiving a letter that the two of them will be wed in the summer.

I had defeated Voldemort, and lost many people that I loved. But now I was curious. Over the time of the war, I had thought people would be finding love. And they had, except for one. So it was with a spark of curiosity in my eyes as I approached Sirius, a smile on my face. And then I sat down. And then I asked him, "Sirius, did you ever fall in love?" "Harry, Voldemort did not take only your parents away from me."

Then he told me of his story, the story of him and a pretty, blonde haired blue eyed girl, named Sophia.

“Stop,” I ground out harshly. “Don’t come any closer.” He had no intention of stopping though, and he made his way over to where I had straightened into a proper standing position. “Look at me,” he whispered with a pleading note in his tone that made my heart beat painfully again. “Please, Hermione.” And I did.
