Really great story!  Love this girls sarcasm (sorry, did I miss her name somewhere or just forget about it??) and her wit.  Can't wait to keep reading :P

there was an incredibly brief moment in chapter two when peeves calls out her name (while he's entering), but that was all. ;)

i have something against introducing characters' names too soon in the story in case it gives the reader a 'first impression' before they get to know her, you know? ^__^

Hi :)  I don't think I left a review on the first chapter when I read it so I guess that I'm going to sort of make up for it here?

I distinctly remember disliking James and Ginny in Chapter 1. You seem to have gotten their characters spot on from what I've seen/can remember, but the way they acted irked me. You had me completely on...(have you mentioned the main character's name?) the MC's side throughout the exchange. It's strange to dislike the Weasleys/Potters because while I have disliked certain characters before, I seem to be harbouring ill feelings towards all of the ones we've been introduced to, mainly Rose and Dominique.

Until it was explicitly mentioned,  I didn't realise the MC was blind. After a quick skim of the previous chapter, I now see what the signs I missed and was pleasantly surprised. Generally when someone has a disability, they're thought of as fragile and weak, but clearly not this girl. One thing I was confused about was this: it says '“Dumb as well as blind,” the other one said in a mocking tone.' and then later says ' ...They hadn’t yet figured out that I was blind?'. Which one is it? Do they know she's blind or not?

I really like how the MC interacts with other characters. The fact that she's befriended minor characters rather than being one of those who have slotted themselves in with the Weasleys/Potters is really appealing. I love the fact that she is best friends with Peeves. I imagine that he'll bring in a lot of humour.

All in all, well done! You really have me intrigued about- well, basically everything and I love the narration. Looking forward to your next updates :)

the odd thing is, james and ginny are two of my favorite characters ever, so writing them this way hurt my soul. but, i don't think my mc would consider them 'benevolent beings.' rose and dominique, on the other hand, have always irked me, so being able to write a story that makes them unlikable makes me happy. :'D

(her name was mentioned very, very briefly in chapter two, by peeves. i didn't want to focus too much on it at first because of ~the power of names' impressions~)

yay! that was what i was going for. since she hasn't known anything but blindness her whole life, she's definitely use to it but wonders about it sometimes. :) ahh that was a mistake on my part, but we can just say it was her inner railing against rose and dominique's stupidity. :P

PEEVES IS MY FAVORITE. he and britta get along so well, and i can't wait to write some more of this story. thank you so much for writing this wonderful review!

This looks interesting! Though what age is she? Keep writing, I want to find out more :)

she's going to her first year of hogwarts, so she's just eleven :') so sorry for the vagueness, but it's something she never really thinks about!
