Gilly, your writing never seizes to amaze me. I am literally blown away but your fabulous writing. I'm here for the 12 Days of Reviewing and am wondering why you don't write more. Honestly.

Your imagery is amazing. I loved it. There were so many nice things and everything was flawless. I loved it. You just write so good... It's breathtakingly frustrating. You must teach me, lol. Your banner was so mysterious, but it's so perfect too. The changing of colour of his eyes in the banner.. I don't think it could've fitted the story any better.

The story was just so good Gilly! This line, was beautiful:

<i> Their whole world was paralyzed by fear, terrified of the dark. This was the power that they faced this ruthlessness and brutality. He saw the ranks diminish and wondered if he was next, if he would ever be able to say goodbye.</i> 

For me, the imagery in that was flawless. Not only that, but the pain was very evident as well. Brilliant work Gilly!

Maybe you can teach me about writing angst cuz I just can't and i will tell you my secrets, padowan (lol there aren't any but sh).

I came here from the 'review the person above you thread' and am glad I did.

Question - Why has this only got one review on it before now? because this was amazing.

The amount of detail and description in this was brilliant, and it was so sad.

I liked these lines the best - 'He wanted to write his memories on it. He wanted to make pictures with footprints and he wanted to make something lasting.'

and the bit at the end about the dead man grinning, that was a great image. 

I seriously don't know why this hasn't got more reviews!

Well, it was never supposed to be obvious, just srt of the back story of a faceless member of the order? But I confess I was thinking about Benjy Fenwick while I wrote it :D
