Very thought-provoking. Good job using stark writing to convey the desolation. I can identify with the bitterness-you did a very good job with realistic thoughts. This is a very nice one-shot.

I'm glad you liked it, I didn't really mean to make anyone sad, though, I was going for more thought provoking and perhaps a bit desolate.  Sorry about making you sad, but I suppose things didn't go too wrong if the story had an emotional effect on you.  Enjoy your comedy.

Wow, I'm glad you liked it.  As I said in the Author's Notes, this story accompanies a longer fic of mine, called "The End."  It's all written in third person instead of first, unfortunately, but if you want to find out how Harry got where he is and what's going to happen to him, I encourage you to take a look at it.

Wow, I really loved this! It's a unique view of Harry's mind, and well-written too! The way you showed so much feeling without making him seem uber depressed was great, because it seemed more like him. So many great lines in this story, I want to quote them all, but the best is the quote from your summary, which is what drew me to this. Awesome stuff, I've added it to my favorites!

This was awesome.  I'm a big fan of "The End" but even without reading it, this is still really good.  I like how you tied the Dursleys back into it and what Harry learned from them even though he is much older.

Thanks a bunch.  I like the idea that even years later Harry would still be effected by his life with the Dursleys, and this seemed like an interesting way to bring that up.
