Thanks, that means a lot to hear.  I guess I don't really know where stories like this come from, my head, really.  If there's one trick I've discovered, though, it's not overdoing it.

Aww! I would have to say this is the best story I've read in a long time. ; ) So sad. : ( I play viola, and you didn't miss anything. Do you play?

Wow, thank you very much, that's high praise.

I don't play the viola.  I'm actually a clarinetist, but thought that the viola suited Dumbledore much better.  I had to do a lot of research to make sure I got it right and it's very gratifying to hear that you though I captured it well.  Thanks again.
