Chapter 1: Chapter 1
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

(AN: Hello Reader! This is one of my first fan fictions and I'm new to writing, so please bare with me if it's not that good at first. I'm currently re-reading the books. So if I don't get something exactly correct, then I apologize in advance. Anyways....enjoy the story!)

"Primrose Scott get up right now, it's September first we are going to miss the train if you don't get up this instant!" Poe Scott, the twin brother of Primrose called from behind her bedroom door. Primrose looked at the clock on her nightstand to see that it was 9:01 in the morning, meaning she had less than two hours to get dressed, eat breakfast, take an hour long drive to King's Cross Station, and get on the Hogwarts Express.

"Shit." Primrose cursed jumping out of bed. She ran to her closet to get a pair of jeans, a pastel yellow button down shirt, socks and a pair of black and white checkered VANS.

Once Primrose had gotten dressed, it was 9:20. She walked to her vanity to do her hair and makeup. Today she decided to keep it simple so she left her dark brown hair down and only applied lipstick, mascara and eyeshadow. Primrose ran down the stairs to the first floor of her three story home but, got there quicker than she expected as she tripped on the second step and slid down the rest of the way. She picked herself up and walked into the kitchen where there were still boxes from moving in and made herself a waffle.

When her waffle was done she quickly ate it and got her trunks from her bedroom. Along with her trunks she packed a bag for the train so she didn't get bored. Inside the bag was a cassette tape with all of her favorite songs, her Sony Walkman, headphones, her polaroid camera, and IT by Stephen King. She grabbed her bag and trunks and headed back downstairs.

"Mum, I'm ready!" Primrose called from the living room.

"Okay Prim get your brother and put your things in the trunk." said Mrs Scott.

Primrose walked to her brother's room where he was making sure he had everything he needed in his bag for the train.

"Are you ready?" she asked.

"Yeah, is this good?" he asked gesturing to his outfit. Poe was wearing a similar outfit to Primrose's except his shirt was green and he was wearing leather boots.

"You look fine, now come on we don't want to miss the train on our first year."

Primrose walked out, put her trunks in the car and got in the passenger seat. She took out her Walkman, plugged in her headphones and waited for her mum as she listened to the music. Poe entered the car and got in the seat behind Primrose. When their mum got in the car, the hour long ride felt as though it was only a few minutes.

Soon enough, they got out of the car and went to Platform 9 3/4, they said their tearful goodbyes and got onto the train just before it had left the station.

Poe and Primrose searched for a compartment but had no luck, most were either full or had the curtains drawn. They got to the fifteenth compartment to find a single boy in there. The boy in there had platinum blond hair and had eyes that were as silver as moonlight. Primrose asked the boy if he would mind if her and Poe could sit with him.

"Not at all. Is this your first year at Hogwarts?" he said.

"Yes it is. I'm Prim Scott, Prim short for Primrose." she said sticking out her hand.

"And I'm Draco Malfoy." said Draco shaking Prims hand. "And you are?" he asked Poe.

"Poe Scott, I'm her twin brother." Draco shook Poe's hand.

The three sat in an awkward silence for a few moments and Prim was the one to break it. She started singing 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' by The Clash. And Draco started singing along."Darling, you gotta let me know. Should I stay or should I go? If you say that you are mine, I'll be here 'till the end of time. So you gotta let me know. Should I stay or should I go?"

And then Poe joined them for the second verse,"It's always tease, tease, tease. You're happy when I'm on my knees. One day it's fine and next it's black. So if you want me off your back. Well, come on and let me know. Should I stay or should I go?"

When the three finished all of the verses of the song they started laughing. Primrose took out her Walkman and put in her cassette tape. She pressed play and the song that started playing was ’Don't Stop Believing’ by Journey. ”Just a small-town girl, living in a lonely world. She took the midnight train going anywhere. Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit. He took the midnight train going anywhere. A singer in a smoky room, a smell of wine and cheap perfume. For a smile they can share the night, it goes on, and on, and on, and on.”

A girl with bushy brown hair and big brown eyes then came into the compartment, ” I'm sorry to interrupt, but has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville lost his.”

”No, but I can help you if you'd like.” said Prim getting up from her seat and exiting the compartment.

”Thank you, I'm Hermione Granger.”

”I'm Primrose Scott, but some call me Prim for short.” she said shaking Hermione's hand.

"Nice to meet you Primrose. Alright, I checked all of the compartments down there so, the ones we need to check are the ones up front." said Hermione walking forward.

"Wait." said Prim.

"What is it?" Hermione asked. Primrose crawled underneath one of the benches in the next empty compartment and came out with  a small toad in her hands.

"Found it." she said.

"Wow, not even five minutes after you offered help and you found him. I'll go bring that back to Neville, unless you want to come with me." said Hermione looking Prim in the eyes.

"I'll go with you. So Hermione, what do you like to do in your spare time?" Prim asked as the two started walking.

"I love to read, draw, and talk with friends, that is if I find any. I'm new to the wizarding world, both of my parents are muggles. What about you?"

"I like to make jewelry, love to read, design clothes, take pictures and socialize, even though I can be an introvert at times. And Hermione, I'm sure you'll make friends you seem like a really nice person."

"Thank you Prim. Oh, we're here Neville is in this next cart." said Hermine knocking on the door to Neville's compartment. He opened the door and his face lit up when he saw his toad Trevor in Prim's hands.

"Trevor!" he exclaimed,"Thank you for finding him Hermione and..."

"Primrose, Primrose Scott." said Prim shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you. I'll see you two later." he said and the girls left the compartment. Prim and Hermione went their own ways as Hermione said that she was going to another compartment with someone named Harry.

Prim returned to the compartment to find Draco and Poe dancing to one of Prim's favourite songs,'Material Girl' by Madonna. She quickly took out her camera and got a picture of the two dancing before they noticed she was back. She sat down with a smile on her face as the film came out of the camera and the picture appeared, Prim quickly put it in her bag so they wouldn't know that she took a picture.

"Hello Dancing Kings. I see you two have had fun while I was gone, what did I miss?"

"Nothing much, we basically just danced the entire time you were gone." said Poe.

"So Draco what do you like to?" asked Prim.

"I like to read, hang out with friends and listen to music. What about you?"

"I like to make jewelry, love to read, design clothes, take pictures, socialize, and listen to music as well."

"I thought you were an introvert." said Poe

"I am, I only like to socialize with people I want to talk to."

And the three just talked and talked for the rest of the ride getting to know each other. The Hogwarts Express pulled into Hogsmeade Station and all of the first years got into a boat that pulled them toward the castle. Primrose, Poe and Draco all shared a small boat and stared in awe at the beautiful castle and night sky.

Soon enough, the boat ride was over and the first years were about to be sorted. The groundskeeper at Hogwarts, Hagrid let them into a small corridor and waited until a tall woman wearing emerald green robes and a pointed hat entered.

"Here are the firs' years for ya McGonagall." he said before exiting the corridor.

"Thank you Hagrid. Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin momentarily, but before you all take seats in the Great Hall you will be sorted into your Houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your House will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your House dormitory, and spend free time in your House common room.

"The four Houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each House has its own  noble history and has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your achievements will gain you House points, while any rule breaking will lose House points. At the end of the school year, the House with the most points will be awarded the House Cup, a great honor.

"Now, in a few minutes the Sorting Ceremony will take place in front of the entire school. I recommend that you try to make yourselves look presentable before you are sorted into your House." then she left the corridor and walked into the Great Hall.

Three minutes later she said that the first years could come in. They all walked in and got in line and McGonagall explained how the ceremony will work.

"When I call your name, you will come forth and I shall place the sorting hat on your head. The sorting hat will choose which House it believes you belong in based off of your personality and the traits you value. Now, let us begin. Hannah Abbott."

A girl with long blonde hair came forward and sat on the stool, McGonagall placed the hat on her head and it yelled,"HUFFLEPUFF!!!"

McGonagall called out a few more names until she got to Hermione, she sat down on the stool and the sorting hat said," Hmm well, you are extremely smart, creative, brave, you have nerve. I know where to put you now, you belong in...GRYFFINDOR!!!!"

"Draco Malfoy." McGonagall called.

Draco sat down on the stool and before the hat even touched his head it said,"SLYTHERIN!!!"

"Harry Potter."

A bunch of murmurs and whispers entered the room. He sat down and the sorting hat began its process," Not a bad mind, you have a bit of ambition, you are brave and daring," Harry had said something to the sorting hat however it was inaudible. "Not Slytherin eh, well looks like if it ain't Slytherin better be GRYFFINDOR!!!"

"Poe Scott."

Poe walked up and the hat was placed on his head, "Well young lad, you are loyal, you have wit, however ambition and cunning are the two traits that stick out the most.Better be... SLYTHERIN!!!"

"Primrose Scott."

Prim walked up and sat down, the hat was placed on her head and it began speaking," You are creative no doubt about that, intelligent, resourceful, ambitious, cunning like your brother, but I also see a hint of bravery." the sorting hat stopped speaking for a minute or two. Primrose thought that she would be a hat stall, when it takes someone more than three minutes to be sorted. But then the hat started speaking again,"I think, no, I know where to put you now. You belong with the people of emerald green and silver in SLYTHERIN!!!" Prim got up and sat down in between Draco and Poe.

They called the rest of the names and Professor Dumbledore stood up to make an announcement."Welcome back for another year at  Hogwarts, or if this your first year welcome I'm Professor Dumbledore. And I have a few announcements to make. The Forbidden Forest hence its name is strictly forbidden. Like the Forbidden Forest, the west corridor on the third floor is out of bounds to those who don't want to die a painful death. That is all, and let us begin the start-of-term banquet."

Just after he had said this plates upon plates of food appeared on every table. Primrose grabbed the spoon in the mac n' cheese bowl but Draco grabbed it at the same time as Primrose and then they just stared into each other's eyes. Their hands touched for a good twenty seconds and in those twenty seconds Poe took the camera from Prim's bag and took a picture. He placed the camera back in her bag and Prim took her hand off of the spoon and gave it to Draco. When he was done using it he passed the spoon to Primrose.

For the rest of the banquet Draco, Primrose and Poe talked, ate and laughed. When the banquet was over the Slytherin Prefect, Amanda showed all of the first years how to get to the Slytherin common room. And before they were sent to their dorms to go to sleep she demonstrated how to tie a tie. When she was finished with her demonstration, she announced that there are no classes until Wednesday so that people could settle in and get to know everyone they will be sharing a common room with for the next seven years.

Prim told Poe and Draco goodnight and headed up the right side of stairs, into her dorm, changed into her pj's and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

AN: Hello everyone and that is it for the first chapter of the story. I hope you liked it, if you'd like leave any questions or opinions about the story in the comments below. Also if I'm not updating frequently it's because I have another story that I am writing at the moment.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

Primrose woke up much, much earlier than the other girls as she woke up at 12:11. She tried to go back to sleep but failed every time she tried. Prim got up and put on a hoodie and sweatpants, then she walked down to the Slytherin Common Room.

She was about to sit down on the floor by the fire but she realized that she wasn't alone. Prim knew who it was already, his platinum blonde hair almost looked white when he sat next to the fire, it was Draco Malfoy.

"You couldn't sleep either?" he asked.

"No, do you mind if I sit here?" said Prim.

"No." Draco responded, Prim sat down next to him."What do you want to do?"

"I don't know, there are many things we can do. We could talk, play games, and many other things."

"Truth or dare?" Draco suggested.

"Sure, dare."

"I dare you to get your Walkman and play music as loud as it can go for ten seconds." said Draco with a grin.

"Alright, a dare is a dare." said Prim getting up from her seat. She walked upstairs to her dormitory and got her Walkman from her bag. Prim came back and put the volume up as high as it can go, then she pressed play.

"SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO NOW? IF I GO THERE WILL BE TROUBLE AND IF I STAY IT WILL BE DOUBLE. SO DARLING LET ME KNOW, SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO?" was all that was heard in the Common Room for ten seconds. As soon as those ten seconds were up, Primrose quickly pressed pause. And then Draco and Primrose just laughed their heads off.

"Truth...or dare,...Draco?" Primrose said in between bursts of laughter.

"Truth." said Draco wiping a tear from his face.

"How long was the last book you read?" Prim asked after she stopped laughing.

"Threehundread and nine pages. Truth or dare?"

"I dare you to prank Poe when he gets up."

"And I know just the prank to do. I'll be right back." said Prim. She got up and headed towards her dormitory and got one red and one black pen from her trunk and went back to Draco.

"What are you going to do with two pens?" Draco asked.

"You'll see. Truth or dare?"

"What is your astrological sign?"

"I'm a gemini. What's yours?"

"Gemini." Primrose yawned.

"I think we should go to bed now." said Draco. "Goodnight Primrose, see you in a few hours."

"It's almost one in the morning so, you should say good morning. Stay with me in the morning to see Poe's reaction, I'll see you in a few hours." said Primrose going up the stairs to the girl's dormitories.

Prim walked in her dorm and fell asleep successfully a few minutes after she was under the blankets of her four poster bed.

The alarm clock on Prim's night stand went off at 6:50, she got up and put on her uniform. When she was done, she grabbed the two pens and went downstairs. She went into the common room and Draco was already there.

"We're waiting on Poe. What are you going to do?" said Draco.

"I'm drawing a scratch mark. You make a mark in red pen, then color it black. Knock something over then pick it back up." Prim explained as she drew the mark on her hand.

"If you say so." said Draco. He took off one of his shoes and threw it down to the floor, making a loud thud. Draco quickly grabbed his shoe and put it back on. Primrose finished coloring the scratch and layed down on the floor face down.

"What was that?" Poe asked leaving his dorm.

"Prim!" Draco exclaimed rushing toward her. Poe ran down the stairs and crouched down by his sister.

"What happened." Poe asked, but Prim made a hand motion with her inked hand that ment 'go away' or 'back up'. Her inked had a thick line on it that went from her wrist to the beginning of her index finger, making it look like it was bleeding.  "Prim we have to get you to the hospital wing, look at your hand."

"Poe I'm going to be fine. I know a few simple healing spells."

"Your lucky I trust you. Go do your spell, we'll wait you."

"Okay." was all that she said. Primrose slightly felt like there was a pit in her stomach. You should feel like this, Poe was really worried about you. You gave him quite a scare, she thought. Prim went into her dorm and washed off the ink with a wet towel. She grabbed her bag and headed back downstairs.

"Ready?" Draco asked, Prim nodded. Then the three headed down to breakfast.

The three sat down and started eating. Prim looked over at the Gryffindor table and saw that Hermione was sitting alone.

"I'll be right back." said Prim. She got up and walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down next to Hermione. "What's the long face for?" she asked. Hermione looked up and her face lit as bright as the sun.

"Primrose, what are you doing here?" Hermione asked taking a bite out of her toast.

"Well I saw that you were alone, and there wasn't really anything to do at the Slytherin table. How was your night?"

"It was okay, I guess. The girls in my dormitory are loud, so I couldn't really sleep."

"The girls in my dorm are quiet, and heavy sleepers." Prim said but she suddenly started laughing.

"What is it?" Hermione asked.

"I'll tell you later, wanna go to the library after breakfast?"

"Absolutely, the library is like a safe haven to me."

"Come with me, I want to introduce you to someone."

"Okay." said Hermione leaving her seat. Then the two girls walked over to the Slytherin table, where Draco and Poe were talking.

"Guys," said Prim,"this is Hermione. I'm going to go to the library with her. Hermione meet Poe, my twin brother. Poe, Hermione. And Draco meet Hermione, Hermione Draco." Hermione shook the two boys hands, then left for the library with Prim.

The two girls walked into the library and were immediately welcomed by Madam Pince, the librarian.

"Good Morning girls." she greeted.

"Good Morning Madam Pince." said Prim and Hermione. The two then went to a table near a window facing the Black Lake. Prim got out her sketchbook and started drawing. Prim didn't know what to draw at first but when Hermione came back to the table and started reading, she got some inspiration.

Prim started to draw a picture of Hermione from the shoulders up, and her plan was to give it to Hermione when she was done.

"What are you drawing?" Hermione asked.

"Oh, nothing. So about earlier."

"Yeah, why were you laughing?"

"Well I said that the girls in my dorm are heavy sleepers and me and Draco played truth or dare last night."

"And he dared me to play my Walkman at the highest volume while everyone is sleeping for ten seconds."

"And no one woke up?"

"Not a single soul."

"You were not joking when you said they were heavy sleepers."

"Either that or the walls in our dormitories are extremely thick."

"Do you want to play a game?" Hermione asked.

"Sure, what game?"

"Never have I ever."

"Okay, you first."

"No, you."

"Alright, never have I ever cut my own hair?"

"I have."

"Same, your turn Hermione."

"Never have I ever been to the emergency room?"

"I have. One time I climbed a tree and couldn't get down, so me being my stupid at the time self, jumped down and broke my leg."

"I have not."

And before the girls knew it, they became best friends. When the two had to leave the library, Prim almost forgot to give Hermione the drawing she finished not too long ago.

"Wait, Hermione."

"Here, I made it for you." said Prim passing Hermione the drawing.

"Thank you. Who is it?"

" It's you, silly." said Prim. After she had said this Hermione had smiled.

"Wow, you are a great artist Prim."

"Well, I'm glad I met my goal."

"What goal?" Hermione asked inquisitively.

"I made you smile." said Prim then the two walked out of the library and headed to the Great Hall for lunch.

"Bye Primrose, I'll see you later." said Hermione waving goodbye

"Bye Hermione." said Prim waving back, then Hermione turned on her heel and went to Gryffindor Tower. Once Hermione had left, Prim made her way to the dungeons.

Prim had gotten to the tapestry of a silver snake and said the password. She entered the common room to find Poe, Draco and a girl who was in her third year.

"There you are." said Poe leaving his seat. "I thought we were going to have to look for you ourselves."

"I was only in the library and by the Black Lake with Hermione."

"I know but you were out there a long time." said Poe looking up at his sister who was taller than him by two inches.

"Oh, so you don't trust me when you're not around." Prim snapped.

"What he means to say is,"said Draco "we were worried about you. We do trust you, but we got worried."

"Okay. I'm sorry I snapped back at you." Prim apologized.

"Your good. So, what do you guys want to do now?" said Poe.

"I don't know. Maybe we can play a game until we go to dinner." said Draco.

"Charades?" Poe suggested.

"Sure." Primrose and Draco said at the same time, Poe laughed.

"Okay I'll be right back." said Poe running upstairs to his dormitory.

Once Poe had come back with parchment, a quill and an ink pot it was time for dinner.

"Maybe we can play tonight when everyone's sleeping." said Prim.

"Yeah, maybe." said Poe putting all of his stuff on the table.

Then, the three headed to the Great Hall for dinner. The they sat down at the Slytherin table and started eating. When everyone was finished eating, Dumbledore made an announcement.

"I have an announcement for all first years." he said, Primrose,Draco and Poe looked up."All first years shall take a tour of the castle tomorrow morning. And the House prefects are the ones who shall be guiding them."

After all of the Slytherins had left the table and went to the Common Room, Amanda had said that if the first years behave themselves tomorrow then she will show them a few secret passageways.

"But only if you behave." said Amanda, then she went to her dorm for the night.

"See you two in a little bit." said Prim going up the stairs to her dorm.

Prim went back to the Common Room at 11:03 where Poe and Draco were waiting to start.

"Alright, who is going first?" asked Draco.

"Who's the oldest?" Poe asked.

"My birthday is June fifth 1980." said Draco.

"I was born on May twenty eighth and Poe was born on the same day but is younger by ten minutes. So I'm the oldest of the three of us." said Prim.

"Okay then Primrose it's your turn." said Draco.

Prim walked over to the pile of parchment slips, picked one and it read,"Back To The Future". She made a gesture meaning 'movie'.

"Cinema?" Poe guessed, Prim shook her head 'no'.

"Movie?" Draco guessed, Prim nodded 'yes'. Then she walked backwards.

"Back?" said Draco, Prim nodded 'yes'. She held up two fingers.

"Back to." said Poe, Prim walked forwards after she had nodded 'yes'.

"Back to forward?" Draco guessed, Prim nodded 'no' and pointed to her wrist then walked forwards.

"Back To The Future?" Poe guessed, Prim nodded 'yes' one last time.

The three played a few more rounds until Poe gave in and went to bed, then it was only Draco and Prim. The two sat in silence before Prim decided to talk.

"So, what class are you looking forward to the most?" she asked.

"Probably potions. I wish we could sign up for quidditch this year." said Draco.

"Me too, It doesn't really make sense. Since this year we have to take flying lessons and we don't start quidditch until next year. But it's probably for our safety."

"True. What is your favorite colour?"

"Well I don't really have one but lavender, emerald and rose gold are my top three."

"Mine are emerald and sea blue. Favourite food?"

"Grilled steak, grilled salmon and roasted potatoes with rosemary. But not together."

"I'm a big fan of seafood. What else could we ask each other?" Draco asked running out of ideas.

"Favourite book? Mine is IT by Stephen King." said Prim.

"I read a lot, so I don't really have one."

The two began to know each other well quickly and had started to become good friends, it was 2:13 and the two started to become tired.

Draco yawned,"I'm going to bed, see you in the morning Primrose."

"Good night Draco." she said. Then she went to sleep.

After the tour on Tuesday, students started to prepare themselves for their first day of school the next day. Prim got up early and packed her bag for the day.

"Quills check, ink check, Standard Book Of Spells Grade One check, notebooks check, wand check, transfiguration textbook check..."  she made sure she had everything she needed so she would not be unprepared.

Prim put on her uniform and headed downstairs with her bag, sat down on the couch and started to draw. Prim was sketching a dress that she would like to make someday. The dress had a white, strapless bodice and the skirt was sea blue with layers upon layers of tulle the same colour.

And she started to draw more and more sketches of clothes until people started to get up.

"Good morning Primrose." said Draco

"Moring." she said.

"Is this the sketch book you were talking about last night?" Draco asked referring to their late night conversation from the previous night.

"Yeah, you can look through it if you'd like."

"Okay." said Draco taking the book from Prim's hands, he flipped through the sketches and handed the book back to Prim. "You are a pretty good artist Primrose."

"Thanks, is Poe up yet?"

"Yes, he is. He said that he was almost ready when I came out." said Draco, Poe walked out of the boys dorms.

"Morning Prim." Poe greeted.

"Are you two ready?" Draco asked.

"Yes." replied the twins.

"Okay then let's go. We don't want to be late for our first day." said Draco.

The three then walked to breakfast and sat down at the Slytherin table. Soon enough, it was time to start their classes. The first class of the day for first years was flying lessons.

When they got there, they were instructed to stand beside a broomstick and wait for Madam Hooch. A few minutes later, a tall woman with short, grey and black hair with yellow eyes stepped forward.

"Good morning, class." she said.

"Good morning, Madam Hooch." said the entire class at once.

"Welcome to your first flying lesson. Now, stick out your right hand on the left side of your broom and say 'up'."

"Up!" said Harry, the broom shot up and went into his hand.

"Up!" said Prim,  the broom shot up and went into her hand.

"Up!" said Draco and Poe at the same time, the broom shot up and went into their hands.

Once everyone had summoned their broom Madam Hooch gave them another set of instructions.

"When I blow my whistle, you will push off of the ground, stay in the air for a second, then come back down." she explained. "Alright, three, two, one." Madam Hooch blew her whistle but Neville pushed off before everyone else did, causing him to go higher.

"Woah." said Neville.

"Mister Longbottom, get down this instant!" Madam Hooch yelled.

However, it looked as though Neville couldn't control his broomstick. Neville went higher and higher, then he went forward and nearly crashed into a placeholder for a torch. But instead, the hood of his robe caught the torch placeholder and he hung there for a few seconds before he fell to the ground. Madam Hooch ran to Neville's aid and had said that he had a sprained wrist.

"If I see anyone, and I mean anyone on their brooms when I get back, they will have a detention before they can say quidditch." Madam Hooch said before taking Neville to the Hospital Wing.

Draco had walked over to where Neville had fallen and had something in his hand. He had said something to the class but Prim couldn't hear him.

"Give it here Malfoy!" said Harry.

"No, I'll leave it for Longbottom to find." said Draco, making his broom go off of the ground."Maybe on the roof? Bit out of your reach, Potter?"

Harry was about to get on his broom but Hermione stopped him," Harry, no way. You heard what Madam Hooch said, if any-" harry pushed off of the ground anyway. "What an idiot."

"Give it here Malfoy, or I'll knock you off of your broom." said Harry.

"Is that so..." Draco said before he threw what was in his hand out into the distance. Harry made his broom go forward at top speed to richeve the object.

A minute of so later, Harry came back with a small glass ball with a gold line wrapping around the center. Other students swarmed around Harry and started cheering for him. Seconds after he came back, Professor McGonagall came by and called for Harry. After Madam Hooch came back she dismissed the class to their next period.

It was the end of the day and their last class was potions with Professor Snape. The first years filled into the classroom and sat down wherever as Snape had yet to come. Not long after everybody sat down, the door of the classroom whipped open in a dramatic manner, Professor Snape had entered the room.

"There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this classroom. Now your House Prefects have reported your behaviour the past few days so I could make a seating chart for this class." Snape said. "Mister Malfoy, sit in between Crabbe and Goyle. Miss Parkinson please sit next to Miss Bulstrode. Mister Finnigan sit next to Mister Thomas. Mister Scott sit next to Miss Abbott, and Mister Weasley sit on the other side of Mister Scott. And Mister Potter sit in between Miss Granger and Miss Scott." the students who were called got up and sat down in their assigned seats.

"Now," said Snape," who can tell me what I would get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?", Hermione's hand shot up in the air. "Potter?"

"I'm sorry what was the question?" Harry said looking up from his notebook.

"What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?" Snape repeated, Hermione's hand stayed in the air.

"I-I don't know sir." Harry stuttered.

"Well boys and girls it appears that fame isn't everything. Just so you know Potter, if I added powdered root of asphodel and an infusion on wormwood I would brew a sleeping potion so powerful it is known as the drought of living death."

After the lesson, students headed to where they wanted to go as they didn't have homework . Primrose was slightly mad at Draco for bullying another student but, she tried to not let it show. Instead of asking him why, she just gave him the silent treatment. She plugged her headphones into her Walkman, put them on but didn't play any music.

Prim took out her notebook and started to study the notes she took in class. After about five minutes of studying, Draco and Poe sat next to her on the couch.

"Hey Primrose, are you okay?" Draco asked.

"I'm fine, why?" she said. So much for giving him the silent treatment, she thought.

"Your studying and it's the first day of school. You should be relaxing." said Draco.

"Yeah we just got away from our noses being in books all day, then you put your nose back in one after twelve minutes."

"Alright, alright I'll put my notebook down." Prim surrendered. "What do you guys want to do?"

"Let's just walk around." said Poe.

"Okay, let's go." said Prim getting her bag.

Prim, Poe and Draco were exploring the castle and became inquisitive when they found a door Amanda didn't show them. Poe tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge.

"Step aside, I got this." said Prim." Alohomora." and the door unlocked.

The three walked in the room and closed the door behind them. It appeared to be an empty classroom. Nothing was inside except a small box. Prim opened the box and nothing was inside, at least that's what she thought. The room suddenly became dark, Prim could no longer see Poe or Draco then people started appearing around her in a circle.

The people in that circle were the twins mother and their father, their sister, Hermione, Poe, Draco, her godmother Keyla, and her cousins Finn and Rey. Maybe it shows the people we are the closest to, Prim thought. But then a dark figure creeped behind each person is the circle surrounding Prim and held a knife at their throat. The figure then slashed their throats causing their bodies to fall to the ground with a thud.

Prim's eyes started to become blurry with tears as she saw the corpses of those she knew around her. "No, no this can't be real." she said aloud. She fell to the floor in a kneeling position and started to cry.

"Prim. Prim!" said Poe.

"Poe, is that you?"

"Yes dumb-dumb it's me, your brother you've been living with since you were born." Poe said sarcastically, Prim chuckled.

"Can you see us?" asked Draco.

"Well, technechley." Prim answered.

"What do you- nevermind, just walk to where you hear us." said Draco.

Prim got up and started walking to where she heard the boy's voices. The circle of corpses disappeared and Prim could now clearly see Poe and Draco. Prim flew her arms around the two boys and started to cry of happiness.

"Thank Merlin it was a hallucination." she said.

"What do you mean?" Poe asked.

"I'll explain later. But the real problem we should be asking is, what was that?" said Prim.

"That my students was most- likely a boggart." said a new voice, he walked out of the shadows and it was Professor Quirrell.

"A what?" Draco asked.

"A boggart, you'll learn more about them in later years. A boggart is a creature that likes to live in small places and shows a person's worst fear when in front of it." Professor Quirrell explained," Now you three should probably head back to your Common Room. I'll take care of this."

"Yes professor." the three said.

Draco, Prim and Poe made their way back and started asking Prim questions on the way.

"What did you see?" Draco asked.

"And what did you mean by 'I can technically see you two.' ?" Poe asked.

"Let me explain," said Prim."I stepped in front of the box and you two, Hermione, Becky, Mum, Dad, Aunt Keyla, Finn and Rey were in a circle around me. Then a dark figure cut their throats and the bodies fell to the floor. When I said 'I can technically see you' I was referring to your corpses."

"Woah, now I know why you were crying so much." said Poe.

"Yeah." said Draco.

Once the three got back, they tried to enjoy the rest of the night by talking, playing games and listening to music.

(AN: And that is it for the second chapter. I hope you enjoyed it, if you have any questions or opinions feel free to comment on them. I will be working on my Draco / Hermione story next so I may not be updating for a while.)

Chapter 3: Chapter 3
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

Over the next few weeks, the late Summer heat was starting to be replaced with a cool Autumn breeze. Every night Draco and Prim had conversations when people thought they were asleep, and it had become a routine. They would wake up, go to breakfast, they went to their classes, they did their homework, ate dinner and to top off the night, Draco and Prim would talk.

And if Prim wasn't with Draco and Poe, she was with Hermione and Poe. Hermione and Poe started to get along well, they were both very similar. Both were intelligent, kind, knew the answer to almost every question and had a bit of a brave side.

The first years were in transfiguration, Prim's worst subject. Before class had started, Professor McGonagall put a rolled up slip of parchment on Prim's desk and told her not to unwrap it until after the lesson was over.

An hour and thirty minutes later, McGonagall had concluded the lesson and dismissed her students. Primrose walked out of the classroom with Poe and Hermione as she unrolled the parchment. She read the following :

        Miss Scott,

You have seemed to be struggling in most of my lessons, so I'm advising you to either find a tutor to help you or study more. If you do not take this into consideration you will fail my class. I am not saying this out of pure spite, I am saying this because your transfiguration grades have been declining since mid-september.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Professor McGonagall."

Primrose groaned after she had read the letter, Poe and Hermione noticed something was wrong.

"Are you okay?" Poe and Hermione said at the same time, they laughed.

"Professor McGonagall says that I'm failing transfiguration, and you know how mad Mum will be if I fail." said Prim.

"Well I could tutor you if you'd like." said Hermione.

"I'd like to take that offer Hermione." said Primrose

"Alright, meet me at the library when classes are over." said Hermione.

"Okay, thank you for doing this Hermione." said Prim.

"What are friends for? And besides if tutoring you does bring my grades down a bit, I'll still have a passing grade." said Hermione.

"Well that's good. Are you guys excited for the first quidditch game of the season tomorrow?" Poe asked opening the door to the potions classroom.

"Yeah, it's the only thing Harry talks about lately. And I can understand how, it's his first game ever and he's never played before." said Hermione.

"But don't you think it's a bit unfair, he's a first year and we aren't allowed to play until our second year." said Prim sitting down in her assigned seat.

"I wasn't onboard with it at first either but there wasn't many options for the seeker position. On another note, are you excited for the Halloween feast this Thursday?" said Hermione sitting down next to Harry.

"Yeah, I heard that they're will be floating Jack-o-lanterns and they'll probably be huge." said Prim, Professor Snape entered the classroom and started explaining what they will be doing today.

"Alright class today we're going to attempt to make a cure for boils. You'll be put into partners based on the notes on your desk. Person A goes with person B and same vice versa. A does not go with A, and B does not go with B. Understood?" said Snape, everyone in the class nodded before he started passing out notes with 'A' and 'B' on them.

Primrose and Harry had gotten paired up and Primrose went to get the ingredients for the potion. They each had a different job, Primrose cut all of the ingredients and would Harry add them. When they were finished, Professor Snape evaluated their potion and said that it was almost a perfect concoction. He took a vile of everyone's potion before sending them off to where they wanted to go for the rest of the day.

Primrose walked out the classroom and headed for the library on the first floor to start her tutoring lessons with Hermione. She walked into the library and found Hermione sitting at a table with Harry and a boy with flaming red hair.

"Prim this is Ron and I'm sure you know Harry from potions." said Hermione, Prim waved at the two boys."Guys this is Primrose, I'm going to be tutoring her for about an hour."

"Alright, we'll be off so you two can concentrate." said Ron.

"Okay bye Ron, bye Harry." said Hermione. "Now let's get started with the basics. We have an apple, and your going to try to change it into a silver fork. Your going to say ' ad malum furca 'after tapping it three times with your wand, okay?". Primrose nodded her head.

”Ad malum firca.” said Prim, the apple stayed in its original form.

”Try again, most don't get it on their first try.”.

”Ad malum furcaa." the apple started to change but then it went back into its original form.

"You almost got it, try again.".

"Ad malum furca." the apple changed into a silver fork.

"See, you got it! Now let's see if you can change it back, try to say the incantation backwards.".

"Furca malum ad." the fork changed back into an apple.

"Good job! Let's try a few other things and then we'll be done for now.".

Fifty minutes later, Hermione had finished tutoring Prim. She had transfigured an apple, a quill, an ink pot, a piece of parchment and a button. When they were finished, they had started on their homework but got distracted. Instead of filling out a chart for astronomy, they were telling each other jokes and laughing their heads off.

Just as Hermione was in the middle of telling Prim a joke they heard a fake cough meaning someone was there. Primrose looked up to see Draco by himself.

"Hey Draco." said Prim.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, I just have to pack up a few things." said Prim rolling up her astronomy chart.

"Okay, I'll wait for you." said Draco before walking off. Prim packed up her things and told Hermione goodbye.

"Alright, I have to go to my escort now." said Prim, Hermione laughed. "Bye Hermione, thanks again for tutoring me." said Prim picking up her bag.

"It's not a big deal, really. Bye Prim, I'll see you tomorrow." said Hermione waving goodbye, Prim waved goodbye back.

She walked to the front of the library where Draco was waiting for her. They started to talk about their day on their way back to the Common Room.

"So, how was your day?" Draco asked.

"It was okay,...I guess." Prim responded, by the way she said it Draco knew that she wasn't okay.

"What's wrong?" Draco asked, Prim sighed.

"I'm failing transfiguration. And if my mum finds out, then I'll be in some deep trouble. But I did find a tutor so hopefully things will get better."

"I'm sure they will."

"How was your day?"

"The usual."

Prim took her Walkman out of her bag and started to play music. 'American Pie' was playing and Draco didn't know the lyrics so Prim sang them to him. Draco smiled as he heard Prim sing.

"A long long time ago I can still remember how that music used to make me smile. And I knew if I had my chance, that I could make those people dance and maybe they'd be happy for a while. But February made me shiver with every paper I'd deliver. Bad news on the doorstep, I couldn't take one more step. I can't remember if I cried, when I read about his widowed bride. Something touched me deep inside the day the music died. So...

"Bye bye Miss American Pie. Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry. And them good ole boys drinking whiskey and rye, singing this'll be the day that I die, singing this'll be the day that I die. ..." a few minutes later when the song was over, Prim and Draco were at the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room.

They said the password and they entered the common room where Poe was doing his homework along with a first year girl with short black hair. The two sat down and started to finish their's. After two hours of doing homework, the three took a break and started to talk about tomorrow's quidditch game.

"I hope that Slytherin wins." said Draco.

"Well of course you do, who wouldn't want their own house to win?" said Prim.

"So Poe, how was your day?" Draco asked, changing the subject.

"It was pretty good, me and Hannah made a perfect potion in class." Poe answered.

"I mean I would expect that. You both are good at potions and you both are smart, so..." said Draco.

"Do you think we should play some games on Halloween?" Poe asked.

"What kind of games?" said Draco.

"Like a weegie board, tell scary stories, stuff like that?" said Prim.

"Sure. Maybe Pansy would like to play too." said Draco.

"Who?" the twins asked.

"Pansy Parkinson, I hang out with her when you two aren't around. She was the girl Poe was sitting by earlier. You know Prim, you and Pansy are very similar. The two of you would be good friends." Draco answered.

"She can come if she wants to." said Poe.

"Yeah. We should get going, it's almost time for dinner." said Prim.

"Okay, let's put up our things first." said Poe.

"Okay." said Draco, before they started to pick up their homework.

They walked to the Great Hall and Professor Dumbledore reminded everyone about the quidditch game tomorrow and the Halloween feast on Thursday. After the three ate, every one went back to their doms, did homework for a bit then went to sleep. And as usual for Prim and Draco, before they went to bed they had their late night conversation.

It was 4:05 pm on Wednesday, and students who weren't playing started to crowd into the large oval shaped quidditch stadium. Poe and Prim went to sit next to Draco and who the twins thought were Pansy Parkinson.

"Hey Poe, Prim! This is Pansy, the girl I told you about yesterday. Pansy, these are the twins I keep telling you about." said Draco as Poe sat to his left, Prim sat on his right and to the left of Pansy.

"Hello, I'm Pansy." she said holding out one of her hands to each twin, they both shook the hand she had given them.

"I'm Poe."

"And I'm Prim. Prim short for Primrose."

"That's a pretty name." said Pansy.

"Thanks, my father picked it out." said Prim.

Just then, the teams flew onto the field and the game was about to begin. Madam Hooch blew her whistle and threw the quaffle in the air. Slytherin had gotten possession of the quaffle, soon to be taken by Gryffindor. Katie Bell passed the quaffle to Angelina Johnson and threw it into the Slytherin goalpost, gaining Gryffindor ten points.

"Ten points to Gryffindor!" Lee Jordan roared into the microphone.

Slytherin had gotten possession of the quaffle again and attempted to throw it into Gryffindor's goalposts. Oliver Wood saw this and blocked the quaffle. Marcus Flint snarled and demanded one of the Slytherin beaters to let him borrow their bat. One of the beaters nodded saying he could and handed him the bat. Marcus flew toward a bludger and aimed the bludger at Wood. He tried to dodge it, but was unsuccessful. Wood and his broom fell to the ground and into the sand. Most of the stadium made an 'oooooh' sound seeing that Gryffindor no longer had a keeper.

"That's not right! And look, no one is even getting up to help him." said Pansy, outraged.

"I can agree with you 100% on that one, Pansy." said Prim.

"That's just how they are sometimes. Slytherin has this thing about playing dirty." said Draco.

"I know but they're not even calling a foul or helping Wood. And from a fall like that, he is most- probably injured." said Prim, trying to prove her and Pansy's claim.

"You might not right on that last part, Primrose.Wood isn't 'most -probably injured', he is injured. Wood was probably flying at a height of fifty feet or more above the ground. So, if he were to fall he would probably break an arm or leg." said Draco.

Slytherin just made another ten points, making the score Slytherin : 10 and Gryffindor : 20. Soon after Harry had spotted the golden snitch and chased after it. Slytherin's seeker noticed this and started to chase after the snitch as well. Harry was just about to grab the snitch but was caught off guard when his Nimbus 2,000 went haywire. His broom moved in ways as if it was trying to shake him off of itself.

After a few minutes of Harry struggling to stay on, he had almost fallen. Harry was now holding onto his Nimbus with nothing but his right hand. Gasps had emerged from every inch of the stadium. About two minutes later, Harry was able to get back on his broom and the game resumed.

The two seekers were side by side, Harry dove down but the Slytherin seeker pulled upwards. Harry tumbled forward and held his stomach when he stood up.

"I think Potter is about to lose his breakfast." said Draco, but then something small, round and golden came out of Harry's mouth. It was the golden snitch.

"Harry Potter has caught the snitch, earning Gryffindor 150 points and ending the game with a score of 170 against Slytherin with a score of 10!" Lee Jordan announced, cheers came from everywhere in the stadium except for where the Slytherins were.

Classes the next day ended at around 3:15 and students started to get ready for the Halloween feast. Prim was walking across the courtyard with Pansy back to the Common Room and saw a familiar bush of curly brown hair purposely bump her shoulder into Ron's. Prim knew something was wrong and wanted to do something about it.

"I'm sorry I'll be right back. I will see you in the Common Room." said Prim.

"Okay, bye Prim." said Pansy before Prim ran as fast as she could to try and catch up with Hermione.

As she was running she heard the sound of someone crying getting louder and louder. Prim followed the sound until she was at the girl's lavatory where the sound was coming from. She knocked on the only closed stall door and waited for a response.

"Hermione can I come in?" Prim asked, soon after she had gotten her response when she heard the door of the stall unlock. Prim walked into the stall where Hermione was turned toward her and it had been obvious that she was crying. Her big brown eyes that were the color of chocolate, were now red, puffy and the color of almonds. "What happened?"

"Ron.... called me a...." said Hermione in between sobs.

"A what?" said Prim.

"A know it all. And he said...that I...don't have any...friends." said Hermione, Prim sat down on the toilet.

"Hermione I'm going to tell you a story. But first I need you to take deep breaths, in and out."

"Okay." Hermione did as she was instructed and sat down on the floor and looked up at Prim.

"When I was younger, I was one of the smartest people in my class as well as an outcast and often got bullied for it. I was called things like nerd, Einstein stuff that had a similar definition to the phrase 'know it all'. But then standardized tests came in and the people who had made fun of me for being who I was had to repeat the grade. I passed every standardized test and made it to the next grade. What I'm trying to say is, is that it isn't bad to be a 'know it all'.

"Also, if Ron said that you didn't have any friends then why am I here. I'm here because your my best friend, and you seemed hurt. If I weren't your friend then I wouldn't be here comforting you. I would be drawing, doing homework or anything but being with you Hermione." Prim left her spot on the toilet and sat by Hermione.

"Thank you Prim." Hermione hugged Prim and they leaned their backs against the wall of the bathroom stall. Hermione's head was on Prim's shoulder and Hermione's arms were wrapped around Prim's neck. Merlin this feels so good, Prim thought to herself.

Then, they just stayed in that position and talked for who knows how many minutes. They heard loud footsteps and gave a worried look at each other.

"What was that?" Prim asked, as her face went pale.

"Someone's probably just coming to use the restroom." Hermione answered.

"Okay." said Prim, her face went back to it's normal tan.

Meanwhile in the Great Hall :

Professor Quirrell ran into the Great Hall and screamed,"TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!!! I thought you might have wanted to know." then he fainted.

Every student in the Great Hall went into a panic, most dropped the sweets they were eating and ran to the doors of the Great Hall.

"SILENCE!!!," Dumbledore yelled,"Now House Prefects please take you and the rest of your house to your respective areas. Teachers and staff please come with me to the dungeons to sort out the situation.". Everyone got up and started to go where they needed to go.

"Wait Draco." said Poe, Draco turned his head to face him.

"Yes?" he asked.

"What about Prim, she doesn't know that there is a troll in the dungeons."

"Maybe she is already in the Common Room." said Draco, a loud scream was to be heard after he had said this. "Maybe that was just Screaming Sally, one of the ghosts."

"There is no such ghost or poltergeist in all of Hogwarts named 'Screaming Sally'." said Poe holding Draco's shoulders and shaking him, "That was Prim, I've heard her screams before."

"Okay, let's go find her!" said Draco. They walked to where they had heard the screams and were and the entrance to the girl's lavatory. However two other students were there too, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.

"What are you doing here, Malfoy, Scott?" Ron asked.

"Well long story short, my sister is in there and there is a troll roaming the castle." said Poe before he had opened the doors and went pale as he saw the gigantic mountain troll.

"Hermione is in there as well, so we have to get in there too." said Harry, running into the girl's lavatory with Ron. Draco and Poe followed.

The bathroom was not a pretty scene, half of the stalls were broken and the wood that they were made of was on the floor, along with the stalls one or two of the toilets were broken.

"Prim, are you in here?!" Draco asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine so is Hermione." Prim responded.

"Where, we can't see you?" said Poe looking around the room, just then a pile of wood pieces started to move and Prim stood up but wasn't uninjured. She had a bloody nose and a cut lip. Prim heard a growling noise behind her, she turned around to see the troll about to destroy where Hermione was hiding.

"HERMIONE RUN!!!" Prim yelled, the troll swung it's club just after Hermione ran from underneath one of the stalls and under a sink.

"Okay quick question, does anybody here know any useful spells to take on a troll?" Harry asked.

"Swish and flick!" said Hermione from under the sink, Ron understanding what she meant took out his wand.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" said Ron aiming his wand at the troll's club. The club slipped out of his hands and immediately became confused. Ron made the club move back and then forwards causing the club to hit the troll's head. The troll swayed it's head for a bit before it fell to the floor with a loud thud.

Seconds afterwards, Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape and, Professor Quirrell came rushing into the bathroom. Professor McGonagall gasped as she took in the scene.  There were six first year students, there was an unconscious mountain troll on the ground, half of the stalls in the restroom were destroyed, four male students were in the girl's restroom and, one of her students had a bloody nose and a cut lip.

"Explain yourselves, all of you!" said Professor McGonagall.

"It's my fault Professor McGonagall." said Hermione.

"Miss Granger?" said Professor McGonagall, shocked.

"I read about them and-" Hermione said before she was cut off by Prim.

"Professor McGonagall, that is not true. The truth is is that Hermione was feeling unwell and I came here to comfort her. We started to talk and didn't realise how much time had flown by. When we were about to come out, we had seen the troll in a corridor outside of the lavatory. And then these four," Prim said gesturing to Harry, Ron, Poe and Draco," came in."

"And which of the six of you managed to defeat the troll?" Professor McGonagall asked.

"I did." said Ron, Professor McGonagall sighed.

"Miss Scott and Miss Granger, you have each just made your House lose five points. Mister Malfoy, Scott, Weasley and Potter you have each gained your house five points. Now Miss Granger you may go to the Hospital Wing if you still feel unwell and take Miss Scott with you." said Professor McGonagall, Prim and Hermione nodded.

Draco, Poe and Prim walked into the Slytherin Common Room after Prim had went to the Hospital Wing. Poe yawned the second he sat on the couch.

"Guys I've had enough for tonight, I'll see you in the morning." said Poe heading up to his dorm.

"Okay, night Poe." said Prim.

"Good night see you in the morning." said Draco. Poe walked up the stairs and closed the door to his dorm.

"Thank you for what you did earlier." said Prim.

"Primrose you do realize the only thing I did was come, right?".

"Yeah, but that's the least you could've done.".

(A.N. - Hello everyone! That is it for the third chapter, I'm not going to be updating on this story for a bit due to my Draco/Hermione fic and another project I'm currently working on. I hope you all stay safe.)

Chapter 4: Chapter 4
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

   Time skip to February :

Harry, Ron, Hermione and Prim were in the library. They were sharing a table and said they needed to discuss a very important matter, according to the trio.

"I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but can we make this go quickly. I promised Draco and Pansy that I'd hang out with them later." said Prim.

"I don't see why you like to hang out with that git." said Ron.

" 'Cause he's my friend and I like to talk to him." said Prim.

"Anyway.... we brought you here to ask you a few questions." said Hermione, taking out a piece of parchment, a quill and ink from her bag.

"Go on." said Prim.

"Do you know anything about a wizard named Nicholas Flamel?" Harry asked.

"Umm....I think I saw the name on a Chocolate Frog card or in a book on famous alchemists." Prim responded.

"Alright! I brought my entire Chocolate Frog card collection with me, so you can look through these." Ron said pulling out a huge bag full of blue and gold hexagonal cards.

Prim took the bag and skimmed over the small paragraph about the famous witch or wizard on the card. After twenty minutes of going over the cards, Prim skimmed over the sixth Dumbledore card and found a piece of information on Nicholas Flamel.

"I found something." said Prim.

"What is it?" Harry asked.

"Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for his discovery of the twelve uses of dragon's blood and, his work on alchemy with his partner Nicholas Flamel. Together, they created an elixir of life known as the ’Sorcerer's Stone’ (or ’Philosopher’s Stone’ for those of you who are not in the U.S.).” said Prim, Hermione wrote this on a piece of parchment.

”Okay thank you for your help, Prim. You can leave now.” said Ron, taking back his Chocolate Frog cards.

”Woah, woah, woah. I'm not leaving just yet. Why did you guys need this information on this specific person? And you can’t give me a bullshit answer like, ’ We have to research famous alchemists.’ since we don't have an assignment like that in any subject whatsoever.” said Prim, the trio looked at each other and nodded their heads.

Then, the trio told Prim about what happened the night when they were supposed to duel Malfoy at midnight a few months back. Prim’s eyes widened as she processed this new information. They had also said that when they get the chance, they will try to stop Snape from stealing what they think is the Sorcerer's Stone.

”I’m letting you three know two things., ” said Prim, ” One - I won't tell a single soul about what you saw or about the plan. And two - I'm going to be a part of this plan. Hermione is like a sister to me, even if I've only known her for a few months. I would try to protect her like an actual sister would. And I could also be helpful on this task of yours, I know a couple of simple healing spells as well as a few medical procedures.”

The trio just turned around in a circle and started whispering things to each other.

”You're in.” said Harry.

”Okay, I have to go now. Pansy and Draco are waiting on me. Goodbye Harry, Ron, Hermione.” said Prim. She turned on her heel and exited the library after she had said her departures.

"Where have you been?" Pansy asked impatiently once Prim had gotten to the Slytherin Common Room.

"I was just studying for the end of year exams early." Prim lied. She didn't like to lie to others, but she had to due to the promise she made to the trio earlier.

"Pans, calm down. Prim was only seven minutes late." said Draco.

"Okay, okay." said Pansy throwing her hands up in surrender.

"What do you guys want to do?" said Draco.

"Truth or dare?" Prim suggested.

"Sure." said Pansy and Draco in unison.

"Okay Primrose, truth or dare?" said Pansy.

"Dare." said Prim.

"I dare you to sing." said Pansy, Draco smiled.

"Every time I look in the mirror, all these lines on my face getting clearer. The past is gone. It went by like dusk to dawn." Prim sang, "Okay Draco, truth or dare?"

"Truth." he said.

"Do you have a crush on anybody?" Prim asked. Draco suddenly found the floor very interesting as he started to turn as red as a Gryffindor tie.

"Possibly." said Draco.

"Who is it?" Pansy asked.

"Pans, don't pressure him. He can tell is if he wants to and or, he'll tell us when he's ready to." said Prim.

"Thanks Primrose." said Draco looking up smiling at her, Prim smiled back .

"Okay, fine." said Pansy.

"Truth or dare Pans?" Draco asked.

"Dare." she said.

"I dare you to name three songs written by muggles." Draco said with a smirk knowing Pansy probably didn't know two.

" got nothing." said Pansy.

"Truth or dare Draco?" Prim asked.

"Dare." said Draco.

"I dare you to try to name all of the songs on my cassette tape." said Prim.

"Should I Stay Or Should I Go, American Pie, Don't Stop Believing, Dream On and.....that's all I can think of as of right now."

"Well you are correct since those four songs are on my cassette tape. However that was less than half of them." said Prim.

"Alright, truth or dare Prim?" said Pansy.

"Truth." said Prim.

"Do you have a crush?" Pansy asked.

"Maybe." said Prim blushing darker than Draco was and knowing full well that she did. And the boy it was on, was sitting a mere few inches away from her. Yes, Primrose Scott had a crush on Draco Malfoy.

The three passed out many truth's and many dare's as the hour passed. However, they had to stop when it was time for dinner. And as always, after dinner when the Common Room was empty Draco and Prim would talk. Draco and Prim were in the deserted Common Room, sitting in front of the warm fire. Since the two got back from dinner, all they did was stare at the burning wood as it slowly turned to ash.

"Hey Flower?" said Draco.

"Yeah Star?" said Prim, smiling at the nickname he gave her.

"I'm not trying to pressure you or anything, but can you give me some hints on who your crush is? I swear I won't tell a soul!"

"Well they are smart, I know them pretty well even though I've only known them for a few months, great at potions, likes to read. That's pretty much all of the hints I can give without it being obvious."

"Alright. Since you gave a few hints on your crush, I'll give you some on mine."

"The girl that I like is beautiful for starters, smart, creative, she's kind, trustworthy, tall and, someone you can count on at all times."

"Wow, quite a person you've got your eye on."

"Same with you. What's your favorite animal?"

"A raven, they use knowledge instead of instinct. You?"

"A dragon, not because 'dragon' in latin is 'Draco' but because their misunderstood and majestic creatures. Dragons come in breeds where they look like their from a whole other world."

”I know, I've read about them. Based on how they're described they seem very beautiful.”

”Yeah. How's transfiguration going for you?"

"Better than ever! I've been getting amazing scores on my tests since Hermine started tutoring me."

"That's good. Do you want to play a game?"

"So basically we ask each other random questions."

"Okay, that's simple."

"When did your parents graduate Hogwarts?"

"I keep on getting the year mixed up. It was either 1972 or 1973."

"Really? That's the same year my parents graduated Hogwarts. What House were they in?"

"Both of my parents were in Slytherin. If you could obtain any super power, what would it be?"

"The power to have all of the knowledge in the world. You?"

"I would want telekinetic powers. If you could create a spell, what would be it’s purpose?"

"To transport items without using an owl."

"Your in luck because it technically already exists."

"How so? It's not in any book of spells."

"My mum made it it's called translationem."

"How does it work?"

"Basically you think about the person you want to send your item to, tap said item with your wand and say translationem."

"Can we please practice it Flower?" Draco begged.

"I'm sorry Star, it's getting late. We'll have plenty of time to practice it tomorrow."

”Okay, night Flower. I'll see you in the morning.”

”Goodnight Star.”

The two then walked to their dorms, changed into their pajamas, and went under the covers of their four-poster bed. As Prim was getting in, a thought came into her head. ”There could be a chance, that chance may be small but it's still higher than zero. And when the odds are higher than zero, it can still happen.”

And that chance, that small chance that Prim was thinking about was that Draco may like her back. After Prim had processed this thought, she fell into a dreamless sleep.

( AN: Hello everyone! Sorry for the shorter chapter. Working on my Draco/Hermione fic next, then another project so expect me not to update on this story for some time. I hope you all stay safe! )

Chapter 5: Chapter 5
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

Draco's p.o.v. :

The alarm on my nightstand went off at 8:11 a.m. Beeb, beeb, beeb. The quiet yet annoying noise rang in my head over and over again. Beeb, beeb, beeb.

"It's too early for this." I said groggily as I pressed the snooze button on my alarm clock. 'Ten more minutes won't kill anyone.', I thought.

After what felt like eight minutes of sleeping, I felt something hit my head hard. I tried to ignore it by rolling over on my other side. But then, that same feeling that I just had a few seconds ago returned. I opened my eyes to what looked like to be Poe standing beside my bed holding one of my pillows.

"What do you want?" I asked.

”You may want to rephrase that question Star.” another voice said, I rolled over to see Flower holding another one of my pillows. I sighed as I rolled my eyes.

”I'm sorry, what do you two want? And how did you get in here Flower?” I ask.

”I let her in. You misted breakfast by the way.” said Poe.

”Of course I did." I said as I rubbed my eyes.

"And it's almost eleven o' clock." Flower added.

"Well, I'm going to the kitchens after I get dressed. Do either of you want to come with?” I asked.

”I’ll go.” said Flower, when I heard this I felt a deep blush rise up my neck and on to my cheeks.

"Okay. Now out with you two, I need to put on some proper clothing." I said.

Third Person Omniscient p.o.v. :

After Draco had gotten dressed, he walked into the Common Room to meet up with Prim. She was wearing a pair of overalls with a black long sleeved turtleneck underneath. And as for shoes she wore her checkered VANS like she did any other day.

”Ready Star?” Prim asked as she put on her satchel.

”Yeah, I’m ready.” Draco responded.

”Okay, let's go then.” said Prim.

The two walked out of the Slytherin Common Room, made their way underneath the Great Hall and entered Hogwarts' kitchen. In the kitchen there were racks upon racks of spices and seasonings, a large pile of pots and pans, four long tables, one large fireplace on the right wall and, many house elves.

"This place is pretty big." said Draco.

"You've never been here before?" Prim asked.

"Not once. I just know where it is, but I've never been inside." said Draco. Then a small female house elf approached the two.

"Hello, how may I serve you today?" the house elf asked in her squeaky voice.

"May I have an iced coffee please?" said Prim.

"Yes Ma'am. How would you like your coffee?" the elf asked.

"Two cups of milk, half of a serving of espresso and one fourth cup of cream." said Prim.

"Yes Ma'am, of course ma'am. And for you Sir?" said the elf.

"I'll have a Granny Smith apple." said Draco.

"Yes Sir. I'll be back with your apple and your coffee." the elf said before walking away from Draco and Prim.

Then, the two just sat there in silence until the elf that had took their orders came back with Prim's coffee and Draco's apple.

"Here you go Miss. One iced coffee with two cups of milk, half of a serving of espresso and one fourth cup of cream. And here is your apple Sir." the elf said as she handed their food.

"Thank you." Prim said as she took a sip from her coffee.

"Your welcome Miss." the elf squeaked before walking off to clean some of the dirty pots.

Draco and Prim left the kitchen and headed back to the Common Room. There was nothing out of the normal there except for a note from Poe on the coffee table.

"What does it say?" Draco asked.

" 'Dear Prim, I'm with Hermione in the library if you need me. -Poe.' "

"Okay, so what do you want to do now?"

"Black Lake?"

Primrose and Draco left the Common Room once again and headed out to the Black Lake. Once they were there, they settled themselves underneath a tree that had the perfect lighting. It didn't give off too much or too little shade.

"Do you want me to cut that for you?" Prim asked.

"How? You don't have a knife." said Draco, when he said this Prim pulled out an electric blue and silver pocket knife from her satchel.

"Do you want me to cut that for you?"

"Sure. Just don't cut yourself." Draco said as he passed Prim his apple.

"I won't, I know how to use this. Quarters or eighths?"

Prim switched her knife from its regular setting to where it would be able to cut things. She carefully cut the apple into fourths and passed them to Draco.

"Thanks Flower." said Draco.

"No problem." said Prim.

"Hey not that it uh....means anything but what's your blood status."

"I'm a pureblood."

"Okay, I was just wondering."

"Do you still want me to teach you that charm?"

"Which one?"

"The one we discussed last night."

"Oh, that one. Yeah I do."

"Okay, finish your apple and when I'm done with my coffee I'll teach you."

Five minutes later Prim finished her coffee and Draco his apple. Prim took out her wand and started to show Draco how to use the charm.

"Okay. So what you want to do is take your item like so," Prim said as she raised her empty coffee cup," point your wand at said item, imagine the person you want to send the item to and say translationem. Got it?"

"I think so." said Draco, Prim passed him her cup.

"Try to send me that coffee cup. It's okay if you don't get it on your first try, it might take a while."

"Okay. Here it goes." said Draco.

Draco closed his eyes and imagined the silver cup in Prim's hands. Still with his eyes closed, he taped the cup with his wand and said 'translationem'. Then, he could no longer feel the cup in his hands. He looked up to see that it had only traveled half of the distance it was supposed to.

"You almost got it! Try again." said Prim passing the cup back to Draco.

He closed his eyes for a second time. He imagined himself looking down into his hands and seeing nothing, only to look up and see that the cup was in Prim's hands. Draco said 'translationem' for a second time after taping the cup with his wand. And just like the first time, the cup had left his hands. He opened his eyes to see Prim holding the empty coffee cup in her hands. Prim smiled at Draco.

"I knew you could do it Star."

(AN : Hello everyone! That is it fo Chapter 5. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to comment on them. I'm working on my Dramione story next so I'm going to start working on Chapter 6 when another chapter on my Dramione fic is released. I hope you all stay safe!)

Chapter 6: Chapter 6
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

(AN: Sorry I haven't been updating on this story for some time, I've been focusing a little bit more on stories to come in the near future. Also, in this chapter I will be using terms from the game Dungeons & Dragons so if you are unfamiliar with the terms I will be using I will be putting their definitions at the end of the chapter. Now enough about that, let's start Chapter 6!)

Time skip to May 28,  7:01 A.M.

"Flower, wake up!" said Draco, Prim groaned and turned on her other side. "So you want to be difficult, don't you?"

Draco sighed, walked over to the other side of Prim's bed and held the iced coffee he got the house elves to make by her nose. As soon as she inhaled the sweet scent the coffee gave off, she opened her eyes and her head shot up.

"Bitch I'm up!" Prim exclaimed.

"That's what I thought." Draco said giving Prim her the coffee, which she sipped as soon as she had gotten the chance. "Happy birthday, by the way."

"Thanks. Wait, what time is it?"

"7:06 in the morning, Poe and Pansy are waiting for us in the Common Room."

"Okay! I'mma get dressed."

Draco left the room and Prim searched her wardrobe for an outfit. She had decided to keep it simple today, she got a white T-shirt, a patterned button-up, some jeans ad her House robe. She put on her satchel and took her coffee with her to the Common Room.

"Happy birthday!" Pansy said as she gave Prim a hug. Prim had warmed up a little to Pansy over the last few months. Most of the time they got along well, and disagreed every once in a while.

"Thanks Pans." said Prim as she hugged back. Prim stepped back and walked towards Poe who was sitting on the couch, she sat down next to him. "Happy birthday little bro."

"Yeah, you too." said Poe.

"Guys we should start making our way to breakfast, we don't want to be late." said Pansy grabbing her bag.

"Says the person who has been late to class at least three times last week." said Prim, Draco and Poe sniggered.

"Ha, ha! Now come on, I mean it. Not everyone was brought coffee as soon as they woke up." said Pansy.

"Touche Pansy, touche." said Prim as they walked out of the Common Room.

Everyone was at breakfast eating, talking or preparing for their final exams that day. The twins had gotten a card from their parents and other family members saying congratulations on making 12. Prim was talking to Draco and Pansy and Poe felt a pair of hands cover his eyes.

"Primrose Anastasia Scott, I swear if you're pulling some stunt on me right now so help me!" said Poe.

"How can I cover your eyes when mine are covered?" said Prim.

"Guess who?" said a voice.

"Well, it sounds like you're Hermione but the skin tone of the hands covering my eyes is tanner than Hermione's skin tone. So, my guess is either Ron or Harry." Prim inquired, the hands covering her eyes moved away and it was in fact Harry. Prim look over to where Poe was sitting next to her and Ron was covering his eyes.

”Um are you Harry?” Poe guessed.

”Nope.” said Ron.

”Are you Ron?” said Poe, Ron uncovered Poe’s eyes.

”Prim we need to borrow you for a second.” said Hermione.

”Okay, I’ll be right back guys.” said Prim as she walked out of the Great Hall with the trio. ”So, what did you three want to talk about?”

”Do you remember the plan?” Hermione asked.

”Of course, how could I not? We meet up tonight after hours under the Invisibility Cloak, go to the room with the trap door and then try to stop Snape from getting the stone.” said Prim.

"Alright, and we each have a role. Prim is our cleric, Hermione is our sorceress, Harry is our paladin, and as for me I am our fighter." said Ron.

"Okay! We know the plan and we know our roles that we would play in this mission. Does anyone have any questions whatsoever?" said Harry, Hermione, Ron and Prim shook their heads.

"Alright, since we don't have any questions and we all know what we're doing we can call this meeting to a close." said Prim.

The four of them walked back into the Great Hall and went to their respective tables. Not so long after they sat down, the bell rang signaling that their first class of the day was about to begin in just a few moments.

Prim had just left her dorm and was about to walk out of the Common Room with all of the essentials she needed for the mission. It was 11:05 PM and Draco had went into his dorm, at least that's where Prim thought he went. She was about to walk out of the Common Room and through the tapestry of the silver snake but was stopped by a voice.

"Where are you going?" said the voice. Prim turned around to see that it was Draco.

"Oh um, I'm just going out by myself." Prim lied.

"I know you too well to know that your not telling the truth. Where are you going? Please just tell me Prim, your my second best friend and I care about you."

"Who's your first?"

"Your brother. But that's not the point. Where are you going?"

"I made a promise to not tell a single soul where, but let's just say the reason why I'm going to said place is for the greater good."

"Okay, just wherever you're going promise me that you'll be careful."

"Trust me, I will be." Prim walked up to Draco and gave him a hug, he hugged back. They separated from one another and just looked into each other's eyes. This ladies and gentlemen (and Mx.s), was the moment when one orb as blue as the sea and another as green as an emerald met two orbs as silver as moon light. "Alright, I think I should be going now."

"Okay. Go, go to this place so you can do the greater good."

Prim nodded, gave Draco a smile and walked out of the Common Room where the trio was waiting for her underneath the Invisibility Cloak.

"In here!" Hermione whisper shouted, Prim followed the voice and got underneath the cloak.

"Ready?" Harry asked. Ron, Hermione and Prim nodded.

The four of them were almost at the room but came to a stop as they saw Peeves floating in the corridor singing a highly inappropriate song. Ron coughed, something he immediately regretted. Peeves turned into the direction the group was in.

"Who's there?" he asked, Prim cleared her throat and started to do an impression that sounded exactly like the Bloody-Baron.

" 'Tis I, the Bloody-Baron. Now get out of this corridor this instant I have some business to attend to."

Peeves made a frightened look as he said, "Of course Mr. Baron sir. I shall leave this corridor and go to another one."

Peeves floated away to another corridor as he continued singing the song he started earlier. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Prim unlocked the lock to the right door and stepped inside.

Cleric - "Clerics are powerful healers due to the large number of healing and curative magics available to them. With divinely-granted abilities over life or death, they are also able to repel or control undead creatures. Clerics also have specific 'domains' which usually align with the character's alignment and the god that cleric serves. "

Sorcerer/ sorceress - " A sorcerer is weak in melee combat, but a master of arcane magic, generally the most powerful form of D&D magic. Sorcerers' magical ability is innate rather than studied."

Paladin - "The paladin is one of the standard playable character classes in most editions of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. The paladin is a holy knight, crusading in the name of good and order, and is a divine spellcaster."

Fighter - "The fighter is one of the standard playable character classes in the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. A fighter is a versatile, weapons-oriented warrior who fights using skill, strategy and tactics"

Chapter 7: Chapter 7
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

Once the four of them got into the room, the saw that Fluffy was sound asleep. Harry looked to his right and saw that there was a flute playing some calming music.

”Snape’s beaten us, he’s been here before.” said Harry, gesturing to the flute.

”Well we better be quick, he may be on the last obstacle.” said Hermione.

”Fluffy’s paw is on that trap door. Harry, Hermione you grab that side. Ron, you and I will take the other.” said Prim.

They lifted Fluffy’s paw and moved to where the trap door would open without it touching him. Ron slowly opened the trap door to see a pitch-black hole. There was no ladder, meaning they had to jump down without knowing what they were going to land on.

”How deep do you think it is?” Prim asked.

”I don't know, Lumos maxima.” said Hermione. The four of them looked into the trap door and found vines at the bottom of the pit.

”There are vines down there, so we should have a soft landing.” said Ron

”It could be some-” Prim said but was cut off by Ron.

”EEEWW!” he said. There was a large pile of dog slobber on his shoulder that was running down his body.

The four of them looked up to see that Fluffy had awoken and that the flute had stopped playing music. They all let out a scream and jumped into the trap door on at a time. When they all reached the bottom, Prim felt something wrap around her legs. Ron and Harry felt something wrap around their chest. And Hermione felt something wrap around her waist.

”Guys I think this is-” said Hermione.

”Devil's Snare. You must stay calm or else it will kill you faster.” Prim finished.

”KILL US FASTER?!” Ron exclaimed, struggling to break free of the vine’s tight grasp.

”If you relax then it's grip will loosen.” said Hermione.

Hermione felt the grip on her waist loosen and was lowered below the canopy of Devil’s Snare soon afterward. While the vines around Harry and Ron tightened, the vines around Prim's legs loosened and she was released beneath the canopy with Hermione.

”HERMIONE!” Ron and Harry yelled in unison.

”Just relax, trust us.” said Prim.

The grip the vines had on Harry loosened as he attempted to relax from the tight grasp it had around him. Then he was lowered under the canopy with Prim and Hermione.

”HARRY!” Ron yelled.

”I think he’s having trouble relaxing.” said Harry.

”No shit Sherlock!” said Prim. ”How could we help him?”

”Um let me think. Devil’s Snare, Devil’s Snare, it's deadly fun..... but will sulk in the sun. That's it! Devil’s Snare hates sunlight. Except... there's barely any light in here.” said Hermione.

”Are you barking mad? Are you a witch or not?!” Ron yelled from above the group as the vines around him got even tighter.

”Oh right. Lumos Solem.” said Hermione as she waved her wand. Due to the brightness of the light, a large hole was burned out of the vines above her. Ron landed onto the ground and got up.

”Well, luckily we didn't panic there.” Ron said as he looked up at the hole.

”Luckily Hermione and Prim pay attention in herbology.” said Harry.

”Let’s move on, shall we?” Prim said sarcastically.

”Er yes, right. Let's go now.” said Hermione.

Hermione, Prim, Harry, and Ron walked along a hallway and ended up in a room filled with nothing except for a single broom and tens, possibly hundreds of flying keys floating in the air. On the other side of the room, there was a door with a lock on it. Prim walked toward the door and attempted to open it however, it just wouldn't budge. She tried using Alohamora on the door, no difference, the door was still locked.

Prim began to think of other ways she could unlock the door. ’What did Dad say whenever we locked ourselves into a room? If you don't have a wand then use a bobby pin. And if you don't have a bobby pin, use a plastic card. Or you could simply just use the key.’ Prim thought. She took a bobby pin from her hair and tried to make the lock do a specific click noise, still nothing.

Prim concluded that one of the flying keys would unlock the door. She tried everything she could. Alohamora, nope. Bobby pin, nope. And she didn't have a plastic card on her which only meant one other thing, that one of them had to get on the broom and find the key that unlocks the door.

”Who volunteers to get on the broom?” Ron asked.

”Not me.” said Hermione.

”Well it's not going to be me!” said Ron.

”Harry, you're going to have to do it.” said Prim.

”What?” said Harry.

”You heard her! You're going to have to do it.” said Hermione.

”I-I don't know guys.” Harry stuttered looking unsure.

”C’mon mate, you're the youngest seeker on a Hogwarts Quidditch team in one hundred years. Besides if Snape can get the key on that old broomstick, so can you.” Ron said encouragingly, Harry nodded.

”Okay, I'm doing it!” Harry said with full confidence.

Harry hopped onto the broom and the keys immediately stopped floating. They turned in Harry’s direction and started chasing and swarming around him wherever he went. He tried to look for a key that looked slightly different from the others. Now Harry James Potter may be as blind as a bat, even with his glasses at times, but somehow he was able to find a key that was different from the others. The only thing different about this key from the others was that it had a bent wing, the right one to be exact.

Harry increased his speed and so did the keys. He reached his right hand forward and...he caught it! He broke off one of the wings and threw it down to Hermione. She caught the key and unlocked the door. Once she opened it, everyone dashed into the room. Prim slammed the door shut and once she closed it you could hear the flying keys crashing into the wooden door.

The group walked forward and torches around the walls lit up, revealing a life-size version of Wizarding Chess. However, that's not the only thing that the torches revealed. Along with the life-size game of Wizarding Chess, the torches also revealed broken pieces around the board. Indicating that Snape had beaten them once again.

The four of them walked and made it to the white side. The pawns drew out their swords, preventing them from passing any further.

”Looks like we’re going to have to play. Harry you go to the Bishop’s square on A3, Hermione and Prim you two go to the Rook’s square on F8 and I am our knight.” said Ron as he hopped onto the black team's knight piece.

Hermione and Prim walked onto the Rook’s square on F8 while Harry walked over to the Bishop’s square on A3. Just then, a realization hit Hermione.

”Ron, you don't think this will be like actual Wizards Chess? Right?” said Hermione, Ron shrugged his shoulders.

”I dunno. Um, you there move forward!” said Ron, one of the pawns moved forward one space and stopped. Then a pawn from the opposing team moved forward one space and drew out its swords. The opposing pawn hit the white pawn with its swords, causing the white pawn to shatter to pieces.

”Yes Hermione, I believe this is going to be exactly like Wizard’s Chess.” said Prim as she went as pale as a ghost.

As the game went on, both teams had lost many pieces. The only pieces that were left on Prim’s team were her and Hermione as the Rook, Harry as the Bishop, and Ron as the knight. Meanwhile, on the white team, there was the queen and two of the towers.

”Harry when I move, no matter the situation I'm in, go for the queen.” said Ron.

”No Ron, stop!” said Harry.

”What is it?” Hermione asked.

”Can’t you see? He's about to sacrifice himself!” said Prim.

”Do you want Snape to get the stone or not?!” said Ron. ”Knight to H3.”

Ron’s chess piece moved to square H3, completing his move. Then the white queen moved to a square next to H3. She took out her sword and stabbed the horse in the heart, causing it to break into large pieces and crumble to the ground.

-Primrose’s p.o.v-

I watched as Ron fell to the ground. I stood there having the instinct to run and try to help him, but you see I couldn't. Merlin, I wish somethings were easier on us kids. You see just because Ron is hurt, doesn't mean the game is over. And if I were run over to him and try to heal him, that would count as my move and the queen or one of her towers could put me out of the game.

Hermione took a step forward and was about to take another out of our square, but I held her shoulder to keep her in.

”No! The game isn't over, we're still playing.” said Harry, Hermione nodded her head understandingly.

Harry moved towards the square next to the queen and said, ”Checkmate.”.

The queen’s sword dropped to the ground creating a loud clatter noise. The game was finally over. I ran over to Ron but tripped onto one of the pieces that used to be his horse and started bleeding from my left leg. I got up and tried to walk as fast as I could however Hermione protested.

”Prim your leg is bleeding fix it before you check on Ron.” she said.

I turned my head around, looked her dead in the eyes, and said, ”I know that I'm hurt but if I can still move at all. I can't just sit still. I have to reach out and do something.”

I continued to make my way towards Ron’s body. Once I got towards him, I rolled up his left sleeve to see that his forearm was as purple as a grape. This could mean two things. One, he is bruised. Or two, that the arm is broken.

Since I don't really know which one it is, I would guess that it's broken. I took a long wooden stick from my bag and placed it under his arm. Then I grabbed some bandages and wrapped them around his arm, making the stick stay in place. Finally, I checked his pulse to see that he is still alive but just knocked out.

I searched my bag for leftover bandages however none were found. ’Desperate times call for desperate measures.’ I thought. I grabbed my pocket knife and cut open the right sleeve of my shirt. I continued to cut until I was left with a large strip of cloth. I wrapped the piece of cloth around my left leg and over the cut to stop the bleeding a bit.

”Go to the owlery and send a note to Dumbledore. Hermione and I are going forward.” said Harry.

”Okay, be careful.” I said nodding my head.

I watched as they walked off and went to solve the next obstacle. Once they were out of sight, I took out a quill, parchment and some ink as I wrote a short letter to Dumbledore.

      Professor Dumbledore,

Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, Hermione Granger and I are on the fourth obstacle protecting the Sorcerer's Stone. However, Ronald and I are in need of medical assistance. If you can, send help.

                                                                                                                                                                                                       Your’s truly,

                                                                                                                                                                                                          Primrose Scott.

I took out my wand once I had finished writing the letter and said, ”Translationem.”. And just like that, the letter was sent to Dumbledore, alerting him of the situation Ron and I were in.

I looked down at my leg and noticed that the cloth covering my wound was soaked in blood. I started to see black dots all around the room until black was the only thing that I could see.

Chapter 8: Chapter 8
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

-Draco’s p.o.v-

Poe, Pansy and I were about to walk into the Great Hall for breakfast. I was starting to get worried as I hadn't seen Flower in the Common Room. As we were about to walk into the Great Hall we were stopped by Professor Snape.

”You three, Professor Dumbledore wants you all to go to the Hospital Wing.” said Professor Snape.

”But Professor why-?” I was about to ask why he needed us there but Professor Snape had already left and was halfway down one of the other corridors.

”I guess we have to go then.” said Poe. He made his way in front of me and Pansy and started to walk. ”Aren’t you two coming, this could be serious?”. Poe said turning around, Pansy shrugged her shoulders before we caught up with Poe.

We had made our way through several corridors and staircases just to get to the Hospital Wing as soon as we could. Once we finally, and I mean finally got there, I saw something that I did not want to see. Primrose was laying down in one of the hospital beds, eyes closed with a bandage on her left leg with Granger sitting next to her. She had promised that she would be safe, but knowing her I would guess that she had tried as best as she could.

"Hermione what-?" Poe was cut off before he could finish by Granger raising her hand for silence.

"I'll explain it to you outside." said Granger. She got up from her seat and brought Poe outside of the Hospital Wing.

I got another chair and set it next to the one that was already there. Pansy and I sat down and observed our surroundings. On the nightstand there was a bottle of medicine that would heal wounds quicker than they would naturally. Next to the bottle there was a piece of cloth that was soaking wet, and I could only assume that was the bandage originally covering her wound. Prim's shirt only had one sleeve. I put two and two together and by the looks of it, she cut off one of her sleeves and used it as a bandage.

I looked down to Prim's wounded leg and saw it move just a bit. Suddenly, I saw it move a few inches and heard a wince.

"Don't move, it's only going to make the pain worse." said a voice Pansy and I turn around to see Madam Pomfrey.

”Will she be okay?” I asked.

”Of course she will be, she should be out by either today or tomorrow.” said Madam Pomfrey. ”Miss Scott, I need you to sit up.”

Prim did as she was told and Madam Pomfrey gave her a one-ounce cup of medicine. She quickly shot it back as though it were alcohol and swallowed it. I could see her eyes watering and a tear was about to form in the corner of her eyes. But once it fell it wasn't clear like it should be, instead it was blood red. I recognised it from the side effects Prim got, an infusion of dragon's blood and a few magical herbs.

"Is it supposed to be like that?" Pansy asked.

"Yes, it's somehow supposed to help the wound on her left leg." said Madam Pomfrey before she walked off to assist another patient.

"Did it hurt?" I ask making sure it didn't hurt her that bad when she took the medicine.

"Did what hurt?" Prim asks.

"You know, crying blood." I respond.

"Oh...I mean a little. Just burns a bit and it irritates my eyes." said Prim.

"Okay. So now since you've done the greater good, can you tell me what you went out for last night?" I ask.

"Yeah, and I would like to know how you got hurt so bad." said Pansy nodding her head, Prim sighed.

"Get comfortable, 'cause this is going to take a while." she said.

-third person p.o.v-

"So basically someone tried to steal a stone that would make them immortal, but you, Granger, Potter and Weasley stopped them." said Pansy.

"Yup, pretty much." said Prim.

"Okay...but you still didn't explain how you got hurt." said Poe pointing to Prim's leg.

"Well...Ron sacrificed himself at one point, I went to help him but tripped on the way. When I got up I had that wound you see now, I helped him, ran out of bandages and used my sleeve as an emergency bandage." Prim explained.

"Why did you help Weasley before yourself?" Draco asked, Prim shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't really know, instinct maybe. I don't even know the guy that well." she said, Madam Pomfrey walked over to Prim's bed.

"Good news after two or three more doses of medicine and a healing spell, your free to go!" said Madam Pomfrey.

"Okay, that's great!" said Prim.

Madam Pomfrey gave Prim another dose of medicine, she shot it back, tears of blood fell from her eyes and down her cheeks. The process was repeated once again and Madam Pomfrey had said a healing spell that no one in the group could understand. Madam Pomfrey took off the bandage and the tan skin there that was once bloody was now back to normal.

"Alright you better be off now, breakfast is halfway through by now." said Madam Pomfrey, Prim nodded and hopped out of bed.

Poe, Pansy, Draco and Prim walked out of the Hospital Wing and made their way to the Great Hall. Once they got there, they took their normal seats at the Slytherin table. Prim was on Draco's left, Poe on his right and Pansy was on Poe's right. A note flew on to Poe's goblet, he looked around the room in search for any owls, none were to be found.

"That's strange..." he commented.

"What's strange?" Prim asks looking over to where Poe was sitting.

"A note flew on to my goblet and there's no owl in sight." Poe responds.

"Oh that? It could just be 'Mione, she sends notes across the Hall to me every once in a while. They can get a bit off track sometimes."

"Okay." said Poe passing the note to Prim.

   ' Dear

Meet me by our spot after breakfast, bring your brother with you. I want to talk to you two for a few minutes.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                   'Mione.    '

Prim put the note in her pocket and looked across the Hall at the Gryffindor Table where Hermione was waiting for her reaction. Prim smiled and gave her the thumbs up, Hermione nodded and continued eating her breakfast.

"For the fifth time Prim, where are you taking me?" Poe asked as he and Prim were walking towards the Black Lake.

"Hermione wants to talk to us for a bit, that's all." Prim responded.

The twins walked to a tree that Hermione was standing by that had an 'X' engraved into the bark of the tree.

"So you are probably wondering why I had asked you two to come down here." said Hermione.

"Kind of..." the twins said in unison.

"Well the summer holiday is a bit long and I'm going to miss you two, so I was wondering what your address was." Hermione explained handing Poe a piece of parchment and a quill. Poe wrote down their address and handed the piece of parchment back to Hermione, and in return she gave Prim a piece of parchment with her address on it. "I'm really going to miss you two."

"So are we. And if your parents ever let you come over, bring a swimsuit and a towel." said Prim.

"Okay!" said Hermione. She walked a little closer towards the twins and pulled them into a hug. "I'll see you guys later."

" 'Kay, bye 'Mione." said the twins waving goodbye, she waved back.

And then, the three went their separate ways. Hermione had herbology and the twins had a free period.

As the last few weeks of school went on, the students workloads became smaller and smaller. The spring breeze had become a summer's heat. Today was the day that most have been waiting for and others dreading, today was the last day of school. And now, everyone was in the Great Hall for the end-of-the-year-feast. Where food would be given, as well as departures from students and teachers alike, and most importantly to the students the House Cup.

Dumbledore tapped his spoon on his goblet three times to get everyone's attention. Everyone in the Great Hall became silent and looked up to the staff table where Dumbledore was sitting.

”Thank you, ” said Dumbledore, ” now I will announce the winner of this year's House Cup. In fourth place we have Gryffindor with three hundred and twelve points.”. Most of the Gryffindors clapped their hands. ”Third place, Hufflepuff with three hundred fifty-two points.”. The Hufflepuffs, Slytherins, and Ravenclaws clapped their hands. ”In second place, Ravenclaw with four hundred twenty-six points.”. Everyone clapped their hands. ”And in first place with four hundred seventy-two points, Slytherin.”. Everyone except most of the Gryffindors clapped their hands.

”Yes, yes, well done Slytherin, well done. However, recent events must be taken into account and I have a few last-minute points to award. First goes to Miss Primrose Scott, for putting other’s needs before her own in very dangerous situations. I award Slytherin house ten points. Second goes to Miss Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect while others were in grave peril, fifty points. Third goes to Mister Ronald Weasley, for the best game of chess that Hogwarts has ever seen these many years, fifty points. And fourth goes to Mister Harry Potter for pure love and outstanding career, I award Gryffindor House sixty points.”

”We’re tied with Gryffindor.” Poe whispered to Pansy.

”And last but not least, ” Dumbledore began, ”  I award ten points to Neville Longbottom because it takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. Now if my calculations are correct, ” Dumbledore clapped his hands and half of the banners in the room were emerald green and silver and the other maroon and gold, ” Slytherin and  Gryffindor win the House Cup.”

The room burst into murmurs and whispers, from what everyone knew of no competition for the House Cup ended in a tie. Four hundred eighty-two - Slytherin, four hundred eighty-two - Gryffindor. Everyone threw their black hats into the air and both Houses cheered in victory.

Once the feast was over, everyone packed their trunks and headed to Hogsmeade Station. The twins, Pansy, Draco, Crabbe, Goyle and Blaise shared a compartment. Blaise was reading, Crabbe and Goyle were eating as usual, and everyone else was talking.

"Promise you will write to me over the holiday." said Pansy

"You'll probably get a letter a few times a week." said Prim.

"I know that you two," Draco said pointing to the twins," will get a good few letters."

"And I could say the same about you." Prim commented.

"So, do you guys have any plans over the Holidays?" Pansy asked.

"Well, our family doesn't really have anything planned." said Poe.

"Same." Pansy and Draco replied in unison.

Prim looked out of the window plugged in and put on her headphones and started to listen to 80's music. As the song 'Let It Be' by The Beatles came on, she started getting sleepy and eventually fell asleep looking at the countryside. Poe looked to where his sister was sitting and took off her headphones for her. He put her Walkman in her bag and returned back to the conversation he was having with Pansy and Draco.

Eventually, the train had come to a stop and everyone was saying their departures to all of their friends. However, this was harder for Prim as she was really going to miss everybody.

"Hope you have a good Summer." said Hermione.

"Same to you." Prim responded, she got closer to Hermione and hugged her so tight that she slightly lifted her off of the ground.

The twins said their goodbyes to all of their friends until one remained, and that one friend was Draco.

"See you in two months." said Poe.

"See you in two months." said Draco, they hugged for a good few seconds. Then Draco moved on to Prim.

"I guess this is it for now." said Prim.

"Yeah, I guess it is. Promise you'll write back." Draco said giving Prim his pinky finger.

"I promise, and I'll try to encourage Poe to write as much as he can." Prim responded wrapping her pinky finger around Draco's.

"Prim, Mum and Dad are here." said Poe. Prim unwrapped her pinky finger and the twins waved goodbye to Draco as they left Platform 9 3/4 with their parents.

(AN : That is it for Chapter 8 everyone! I hope you enjoyed it, if you have any questions or comments feel free to comment on them. Also, happy birthday Draco Malfoy! I'm working on my Draco/Hermione fic next. P.S.- The story is just beginning.)

Chapter 9: Chapter 9
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

The Scott family left Platform 9 3/4 and got into their car. As soon as the twins had gotten home, they were bombarded with questions from both their mother and their father.

"So how was your first year?" their mother asked.

"What House were you sorted into?" their father asked.

"Did you make any friends?" their mother asked.

"What'd you learn?" their father asked.

"One at a damn time!" Prim exclaimed. "To answer your questions, my year was fine, I got put in Slytherin, I did make friends and I learnt a lot."

"And what about you Poe?" their mother asked.

"Same answers as Prim. Year was fine, got into Slytherin, made a few friends, learnt a lot." Poe responded.

"Who'd you make friends with?" their father asked.

"We made friends with Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Pansy Parkinson and, Draco Malfoy." Poe responded, the twin's parents looked at each other for a moment and nodded.

"What?" said Prim.

"We'll be right back..." their father answered. They had left the room and went upstairs.

"Where do you think they went?" Poe asked.

"Dunno, maybe to the attic so they won't be overheard as easily." said Prim.

   Meanwhile in the attic :

"I can't find it." said Leo.

"Like father, like son." Katniss muttered under her breath. 'He's worse than Poe sometimes.'

"What was that?" Leo asked.

"Oh, nothing." Katniss responded with a smile.

"Uh huh, that's what I thought." said Leo. 'Now I see where Prim gets the attitude from...'.

"Found it." said Katniss.

"Alright, let's bring it back downstairs." Leo said as he placed everything he moved back in its original place.

Leo and Katniss went back downstairs to find Prim laying down with her legs resting on the armrest of the sofa and Poe standing tapping his right foot on the ground impatiently.

"So...why were you two gone for so long?" Poe asked as he stopped tapping his foot.

"I am actually curious for the same reason. So...why were you two gone for so long?"

"Well," Leo started," when you said the names of your friends...we remembered some old memories. Like from when we were around your age."

"Yeah." said Katniss nodding her head.

"Okay! What's in the box?" said Prim nodding her head at the box underneath Katniss' arm.

"All of the memories." said Leo with a grin.

They all sat down at the couch and opened the box. Inside there were many photos that were a bit off-color due to their age.

"Whose in this picture?" Prim asked picking up a photo of a blonde couple and what looked to be a younger looking Katniss.

"Oh, that is Narcissa Black now known as Narcissa Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy and your mother."

"Where were you?" Prim asked.

"I was the one taking the picture." Leo responded.

"And this one?" Poe asked giving a picture of a large group of people standing in rows of three by seven to his mother.

"The original Order Of The Phoenix." said Katniss." That is Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, your father and I, James and Lily Potter, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Frank and Alice Longbottom, the Prewett twins, Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Minerva McGonagall and a few others."

The four of them went through the box and had soon gotten to the bottom of it. Everyone else went where they had wanted to go. But something had caught Prim's eye. She reached to the bottom of the box and found a picture with three babies in it. Two of them looked similar while the other one looked like the complete opposite from the others. Not only did one of them look the complete opposite of the other two, but they also looked a bit familiar.

Prim walked into the kitchen to where Leo was starting to work on dinner and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey Dad?" Prim asked.

"Yes?" Leo responded turning around.

"Who are the babies in this picture?" Prim asked, Leo took the picture out of Prim's hands to get a better look.

"The one on the far left is Narcissa Black and Lucius Malfoy's child, forgot what his name was. The one in the middle is you and the one on the far right is your brother." said Leo as he gave the picture back to Prim.

"Okay, thanks Dad." said Prim.

"Anytime Kid." Leo responded as he got back to working on dinner.

Prim was walking up the stairs to her room, processing what her father had told her. 'So that's why that one looked familiar, because it was Draco. The eyes as silver as moonlight the blond hair, how did I not realize it before?' Prim thought.

Prim opened the door to her room to find a brown and black owl with light brown eyes outside of her window carrying a letter. She opened the window and untied the letter that was around it's leg. Before the owl had taken off she had given them some water.

Prim opened the letter and immediately knew who it was from. How, you may ask? It had said 'Dear, Flower'. Flower, a name only Draco would call her by.

The letter said the following :

I know we had just gotten off of the Hogwarts Express a few hours ago, but I wanted to know how your Summer has been so far. I hope that you, Poe and the rest of your family have been well. By the way, this picture fell out of your bag when you and Poe had left the platform.

And inside of the envelope was the picture of Draco and Poe dancing that Prim had secretly taken when they had first met on the Hogwarts Express. Prim smiled at the small gesture and placed the photo on the right side of her desk. Prim took out some parchment, a quill and ink. Then, she began to write.

So far my Summer is pretty good for such little time, so many things have already happened...'

(AN : Hello everyone! That's it for Chapter 9, I hope you enjoyed it! I'm working on my Draco/Hermione story next, so expect me not to update for a bit. I hope you have a good morning/afternoon/evening and that you stay safe.)

Chapter 10: Chapter 10
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

(Warning: There will be a slightly bi-phobic comment towards the end of this chapter.)

August 29, 1992 :

"Prim, wake up! Hermione is coming over today." Katniss said as she lightly shook Prim awake.

"Sorry, what'd you say Mum?" Prim asked as she sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes.

"I said that Hermione is coming over today." Katniss repeated. As soon as Prim had processed this, she quickly jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. "Make sure you don't trip!"

"I won-WHOA!" Prim exclaimed. She had made it down most of the staircase without tripping but fell when it came to the last three steps.

Katniss ran downstairs and saw Prim sitting down on the floor, scratching the back of her neck.

"What did I tell you?" said Katniss helping Prim up to her feet.

"Don't trip." Prim muttered under her breath. "I didn't mean to, I was just excited."

"I know you didn't mean to, you just have to be more careful." Katniss said as she brought Prim in for a hug. "Come on, breakfast is ready."

Prim walked into the dining room and saw a plate of pancakes, bacon and eggs in each spot at the table. Prim walked over to the fridge and got out milk, ice and creamer to make her coffee. She reached over to a small one ounce cup filled with espresso and poured it into the bottom of her glass. Next came the milk, then the creamer, Prim stirred all of the ingredients and sat down at the table with her iced coffee.

A bit after breakfast was over, there was a knock at the door. Prim got up, walked to the door and opened it. On the other side was Hermione and both of her parents.

"Hey 'Mione, come in!" said Prim, Hermione waved goodbye to her parents and gave them a hug before they walked back to their car.

Hermione closed the door and gave Prim a hug before they made their way to the dining room. Hermione greeted Poe and introduced herself to the twin's mum.

"I'm Mrs. Scott, pleased to meet you." Katniss said shaking Hermione's hand.

"Hermione Granger, pleased to meet you as well." Hermione responded.

"I've heard a lot about you, Hermione." said Katniss. Hermione turned to Prim and raised her eyebrows, giving off a look that said 'really'.

"What else was I supposed to do?" said Prim. "Have my mum ask me how my year was and not tell her about my best friend." Hermione playfully rolled her eyes with a grin. Prim started to pick up all of the dirty plates, but her mother protested.

"You two go upstairs or outside, I'll pick this up." said Katniss, Prim nodded.

Hermione and Prim walked up the first set of stairs and went to the last bedroom on the left. Prim opened the door and the two girls walked in.

"Wow Prim, your room's pretty big." Hermione commented as she set her bag down on the floor.

The walls of the room were a dark grey and the floor was made of hardwood that was a dark shade of brown. On the far left side of the room was a large closet that had some hanging space, a dresser and a few pairs of shoes inside. In the center of the room there was a twin sized bed with a navy blue comforter, one white pillow, one grey pillow and a giraffe plushie on top. In the far right side of the room there was a desk with a sewing machine, a letter, parchment, a quill and ink on it. And finally, in the upper right corner of the room there was a yellow and white polka dotted mannequin that had a half-completed skirt on.

"So, did you bring a bathing suit?" Prim asked.

"Yeah, it's in my overnight bag.” Hermione replied.

'Wait a minute...overnight bag? She didn't say that she was staying the night, did she?' Prim thought.

"I didn't know that you were spending the night." said Prim.

"If I recall, I said that I'm staying the night in the last letter I sent."

"Either way, I don't have a problem with that."

"Okay! So, I see you've been sewing." Hermione commented nodding her head in the mannequin's direction.

"Yeah, my Mum's been teaching me. We cleaned the attic the other day and found the mannequin, it has a pretty neat feature."

"Which is..."

"Basically, you say the size you want the mannequin to be and it will adjust to that size."

"So if I said 'large' or 'medium' or whatever other size, it would adjust?"

"Pretty much."

"Your right, that is pretty neat."

"So......whatcha want to do now?"  Prim asked after a bit of awkward silence.

"Dunno. Truth or dare?"

Hermione and Prim sat down on the bed. Prim sat up front by the headboard and played with the giraffe plushie, while Hermione sat on the opposing end and sat cross legged.

"Truth or dare Prim?"

"Do you have a crush?"

Prim could feel a heat rise to her cheeks but before she could say anything there was a knock on the front door. The girls heard the door open, Katniss' voice and the sound of heels clicking on the hardwood floor. The sound of heels clicking got louder and louder by the second and soon enough, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Hermione and Prim said in unison.

The door opened the there stood a woman who looked like she was in her early twenties. She had thick brown hair  that ended halfway down her chest, one blue eye and one green eye like Prim and, olive complexion. She was wearing a pair of black overalls, a crop top, a pair of white boots that had a heel that was 1/2 of an inch tall and a diamond ring on her left ring-finger.

"Becky!" Prim exclaimed as she jumped off of the bed and hugged her in a death grip.

"Hey Mini! I missed you." Becky said as she ruffled up Prim's hair. Hermione sat on the bed looking at the two with a confused look.

"Who's this?" Hermione asked.

"This is Becky, my sister." Prim answered as she looked up and into Becky's eyes.

"You never told me that you had a sister." said Hermione.

"Not tryna be rude but, you had never asked me if I had other siblings." Prim said with a shrug. "Anyways...what are you doing here?"

"Well, it's a long story, one you'll probably find out tomorrow." Becky replied. "So, who's this?" Becky gestured to Hermione.

"I'm Hermione Granger." said Hermione as she shook Becky's hand.

"Rabeka Scott." she replied.

"So Prim, are you gonna answer that question?" Hermione asked, the blush on Prim's checks got even darker.

"What question?" Becky said with a grin.

"If she had a crush or not." Hermione replied giggling.

"I would be interested to know the answer to that as well." said Becky smirking.

"The answer's yes." Prim responded in a tone that was barely audible.

"I'm sorry what was that!?" said Becky putting her hand by her ear,"I couldn't hear you, could you repeat what you just said?"

"I said yes." Prim said in a now audible tone.

"Who is it?! Who is it?! Who is it?!" Hermione and Becky said in unison as they were jumping up and down.

"Not telling! Not telling! Not telling!" Prim replied crossing her arms over her chest.

"Fine! Where's Poe?" Becky asked.

"Either in his room or outside in the pool." said Prim.

"Okay! I'll leave you two alone now." Becky said before she left Prim's room.

"Could you explain what happened." Hermione asked.

"That was my older sister Rebeka, or Becky as a nickname. She still lives in England, just a bit far away meaning we don't see her as often. Becky's eleven years older than me and Poe, she works at the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Sports and Games. And...that's pretty much all I need to explain."

"Alright. Well, do you want to go swimming now?"

"Sure! There's a bathroom to your right walking out of the door."

Hermione got off of the bed, grabbed her bag and went into the bathroom. Prim walked over to her closet and rummaged through the drawer that contained all of her swimsuits. After about three minutes, she had picked out a plain black one-piece swimsuit. Prim walked over to her desk, took out a hair tie and put her hair up in a messy bun.

Prim walked out of her room and went downstairs to wait for Hermione, she sat down at the table and saw that there was a note on the fridge. Prim got up and it had said the following :

     Prim, Poe and or Becky,

I was just called in to help with a patient, I may not be back for a bit. Becky is going to watch you, Poe (or Prim) and Hermione before your father gets home. Behave yourselves.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Mum.' .

Prim placed the note on the counter and waited for Hermione once again. As Prim waited for a bit, she could feel herself begin to zone out. That is, until she heard footsteps coming from the staircase.

"Are you ready?" Hermione asked, Prim nodded.

They walked outside and Poe was already in the pool, floating on his back in a 'T' position. While Becky was in the hot tub with a bottle of butterbeer. Hermione went by the stairs and got in, but Prim had another idea. She walked a far distance from the pool and ran as fast as she could before jumping in.

"Why'd you do that?!" Poe exclaimed as he wiped some of the water from his eyes.

"She's her own spirit, if she wants to jump in the pool like that, then let her." Becky said as she took a sip of butterbeer.

"But she could've gotten hurt." said Poe.

"The likelihood of her getting hurt jumping into the pool is lower than her tripping down the stairs." said Becky, Poe sighed.

Then the four of them just swam in the pool way longer than they should have. By the time it was time for dinner and they all had to get out, their skin was as shriveled as a raisin. Each of them had changed back into casual clothing and ordered pizza as dinner. Once dinner had ended, they had changed into their pajamas and went to their rooms for the night.

"G'night Prim." Hermione said while laying down on the air matcheras that was at the foot of the bed.

"Night 'Mione." said Prim. She turned off the lamp on her bedside table and drifted away into a dreamless sleep.

"How much do you wanna bet that she's gonna wear a button up?" Hermione asked looking up at Becky.

"A bag of your favorite candy." Becky replied.

"Make that two." said Hermione.

"I like your style kid." Becky said as she shook Hermione's hand, completing the bet.

Prim unlocked the door to her room and walked out wearing a black button up with pineapples on it, a pair of jeans with her checkered VANS, and her hair was up in a messy bun.

"Change." said Hermione pushing Prim back into her room. Becky closed the door after she walked in.

"What!?" said Prim.

"Look Prim, I love that your being yourself and all, but give the button ups a break just for today. Alright?" said Becky.

"That uh- might not be too easy..." said Prim. She opened her closet and about 40-55% of the hanging space were button ups.

"Hermione, you probably want to wait downstairs. 'Cause this is going to take a while." said Becky as she looked through Prim's closet for another outfit.

Hermione walked out of the room and waited downstairs with Poe. After going through many outfits, Becky and Prim finally found one that wasn't too fancy nor too casual. They had decided on a floral long sleeve shirt with a bow in the front and a black skirt.

(All credit goes to the artist that made this)

Only one thing left the shoes. Prim didn't have that many shoes that had either matched the outfit or fit her, that is until Becky had an idea.

”Hold on, I'll be right back.” said Becky.

Becky walked into her room and got out a pair of shoes from her suitcase. She was supposed to send them to Prim on her actual birthday, but she forgot. Becky walked back into Prim’s room with the shoes and Prim gave her an unsettling look.

”Are you sure that you want me to wear these. I mean they're cute but, do you trust me wearing these?” Prim asked holding up the shoes. And the shoes that Prim was holding up were a pair of Converse but with a twist, they had a heel on them.

”I do trust you. Besides they're charmed so that way you won't fall.” said Becky.

"If you say so..." said Prim. She sat down on her bed and put on the shoes, and Prim felt like she wouldn't be able to take them off.  The shoes they had somehow given her a slight confidence boost.

"Alright! Get your bag now that we're ready." Becky said as Prim got off of the bed and grabbed her satchel.

They walked downstairs and once Hermione and Poe looked at what Prim was wearing, their jaws dropped to the floor. Prim walked over to the fireplace and took a pinch of floo powder.

"Get in losers we're going shopping!" said Prim. She dropped the floo powder and said,"Diagon Alley!". Emerald green flames engulfed Prim's body and took her to her destination.

"You heard the woman, get in!" said Becky. Poe and Hermione took a pinch of floo powder, stepped in and said 'Diagon Alley'. And Becky had done the same process once the kids had left.

"Alright only a few things left..." said Poe checking off 'Quills and ink' from the checklist.

"What's next?" Prim asked looking over Poe's shoulder and on to the list. "Textbooks."

Becky, Prim and, Poe walked into Flourish and Blotts. As soon as they had walked into the door, Becky had bumped into a friend of her's and they immediately started to go into a conversation.

"C'mon let's get our stuff, in and out." said Poe as they walked up the stairs and on to the second level.

"You might want to rephrase that statement." said Prim. She had pointed to a boy with gelled back platinum blonde hair that was wearing Slytherin robes. "Damn, he got tall over the Summer.".

The twins heard a chuckle from the boy and he said,"I could say the same to you two as well.". He turned around and it was none other than Draco Malfoy.

He had walked up to the twins and gave them each a hug. However it had seemed like Prim's was a bit longer than the one that Draco had given Poe. The two had separated after Poe cleared his throat signaling that they've hugged long enough.

"So how was your Summer Star?" Prim asked as she browsed the shelves for the books that they needed.

"Pretty good, yours?" said Draco.

"Same." the twins answered in unison.

"Are you two going to try out for Quidditch this year?" Draco asked as he flipped through a red book with gold and emerald green accents.

"Yeah, I want to try out for either Seeker or Beater!" Prim replied as she finished picking out all of the books that her and Poe needed.

"I was going to try out for Seeker..." said Draco.

"Well, then let the the best player win." Prim said as she looked into Draco's grey eyes. "I'll go bring these downstairs."

Prim walked downstairs and saw that Becky was already near the front of the line. She walked over to her sister and took the books out of her hands.

"I'll pay for these, you and Poe can go wait outside if you'd like." said Becky, Prim nodded. While getting out of line, Prim ran into the Weasley family and Harry.

"Hey Prim!" said Harry.

"Hello Harry!" said Prim, Harry gave her a hug and she hugged back. Prim could feel as though she was being watched but ignored it as they were in a crowded bookstore. The sound of paper being torn came from the second floor which was followed by the sound of footsteps.

"Bey ya loved that didn't you Potter! Famous Harry Potter, can't even go to a bookstore without making the front page!" said Draco, Prim rolled her eyes.

"Leave him alone." said an eleven year old girl with red hair stepping in front of Harry.

"Oh look Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend." Draco said before a silver snake head had landed on his right shoulder.

"Now now Draco, play nice."a man with long blond hair said as he pushed Draco aside."Mister Potter, Lucius Malfoy.". Harry and Mr.  Malfoy shook hands," Forgive me..." Mr. Malfoy pulled Harry forward and moved his hair out of his face with his cane, revealing his scar. "The scar is legend, just like the wizard who gave it to you."

"Voldemort killed my parents...he was nothing more than a murderer." Harry said as he backed away from Mr. Malfoy.

"You must be very brave to mention his name, or very foolish." said Mr. Malfoy.

"Fear of a name, only increases fear of the thing itself." Hermione shot back. 'Yes! Roast his ass 'Mione!' Prim thought.

"And you must be...Miss Granger," said Mr. Malfoy," yes Draco's told me a lot about you and your parents. Muggles, are they?"

"Okay here are your books." Becky said as she gave Prim the bag filled with her and Poe's textbooks.

"Hello...Rebeka." said Mr. Malfoy, Becky sighed.

"Hello Lucius." she said giving him a death glare with her heterochromic eyes.

"Coincidence seeing you here. Seeing you here wearing a flag with such meaning, honestly its inappropriate and I'm glad to hear that you picked a side." Mr. Malfoy said looking at Becky's pink, purple and blue pin.

"As an independent individual, she can wear anything she wants in public as long as it's appropriate. And not to be rude Mister Malfoy, but last time I checked a pin that represents bisexuality is not inappropriate." said Prim. After she had said this, she could've swarn that Draco had given her the thumbs up behind Mr. Malfoy's back. "Also just because she has a partner that identifies as a gender that she's attracted to, doesn't mean she's 'picked a side'. She's still attracted to both sexes."

"Tall, heterochromic eyes, brown hair and hot-headed. You must be...Primrose Scott" said Mr. Malfoy. "Now let me see red hair, vacant expressions, tatty second hand books, you must be the Weasleys."

"Children, I think we should get going." said Mr. Weasley.

"Well, well, well, Weasley Senior." said Mr. Malfoy.

"Lucius..." said Mister Weasley.

"Busy time at the Ministry, all those extra raids, I really do hope they're paying you overtime. But by judging the state of these books, I'd say not..."

That one single comment had changed the atmosphere completely. It had went from an average mid-day conversation to extremely hostile. Mr. Weasley lunged at Mr. Malfoy, pinning him to one of the bookcases. Not much could've been seen from where the twins were standing. A few punches and slaps were thrown with the occasional hair pull. However after about a few minutes, Hagrid had come in and broke up the fight.

The twins had said goodbye to all of their friends and left Flourish and Blots. But if there was one thing that they had learned during this visit to Flourish and Blots, it's that Karma is a bitch.

(AN: I'm sorry that I haven't updated this story for a bit, I hope that you enjoy Chapter 11 of this story.)

"Bye Poe! Bye Prim!" Becky said before they were about to get on to the Hogwarts express.

"Goodbye Becky. Goodbye Carmen." the twins said in unison as they hugged their sister and her wife.

"Bye Munchkins." Carmen said as she ruffled the twins hair.

"Oh, and don't forget to give Hermione these." Becky said as she handed Prim two small bags of dark chocolate.

"Er-why would you give Hermione dark chocolate?" Poe asked with his left eyebrow raised.

"No reason..." Becky replied," Now go, it's almost 11 o'clock!"

The twins got on to the train a minute or two before the final whistle blew. Once they had gotten on, they had each went their separate ways. Poe went inside of Draco's compartment while Prim went inside of Hermione's.

"Hey Prim!" Hermione said as she gave Prim a hug.

"Hello 'Mione!" Prim said as she hugged back.

The two sat down on opposite sides of the compartment as the train started to take off.

"I see you dyed your hair a bit." Hermione said looking at the tips of Prim's hair which were dyed a shade of blood red. "It looks nice on you."

"Thanks!" Prim said as she handed Hermione the two bags of chocolate,"Also, do you know why my sister would give you two bags of dark chocolate?"

"Yes, yes I do know."

"Are you going to tell me why?"

"No, I don't think I will." Hermione said with a smirk, she sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"Harry and Ron had promised that they would share a compartment with me. Now, it's past eleven and they haven't shown up yet."

" 'Mione that's just how boys are most of the time, they make empty promises. Honestly, some of them aren't worth two shits."

"Am I wrong? You're gonna look at me and tell me that I'm wrong? Besides I'm just telling the truth." Prim said as she put her hands up in surrender, Hermione laughed.

"Yeah, you're kind of one of those people that says what's on their mind."

”I hope this year will be normal, and by that I mean we won't be put in near-death experiences.”

"You and me both!"

Over the next few hours, Hermione and Prim did a variety of activities. The talked, ate candy, played cards and basically anything the two of them could do to kill time. After the train had stopped, everyone in their second year or above had gotten into a carriage with their luggage and a friend or two. Prim and Hermione did not enjoy their first carriage ride, they were stuck with the Patil twins and Lavender Brown meaning the ride was extremely noisy. But thankfully, the carriage rides only took a few minutes so they were back to the castle in no-time.

"Finally, it's over. Their high pitched voices were starting to get irritating." Prim said as she took out her luggage.

"Welcome to my world, where I have to deal with them on a daily basis." Hermione said as they begun to walk up the trail.

When everyone had gotten to the entrance of the castle, they had set their bags at the doors so they could be brought to the rooms of their respective owners. Everyone went into the Great-Hall and basically the first night at Hogwarts was the same as the previous year's. The night would begin with the Sorting Ceremony, then Dumbledore's speech, next came the feast and finally, the night would end with all of the students sleeping in their dorms.

At the moment Primrose and Draco were in the Common Room, sitting in front of the fire, in utter silence to the point where you could only hear the fire crackling. That is, until Draco decided to break it.

"I see you've changed you're hair a bit, looks good on you." he said.

"Thanks, my sister did it for me." Prim replied.

"You never told me that you had a sister." Draco said turning his head to the left to look at Prim.

"You've never asked if I had any other siblings."

"Touche Flower."

   Prim sighed.

"Look Star...," Prim said turning her body to the right so that she could face Draco," I'm sorry for what I said in Flourish And Blotts to your father." Draco chuckled a bit.

"Flower you don't have to apologize for anything, you were just sticking up for your family. As any other person would and or should have. He made the comment, and you clapped back."

"But I was rude to your father."

"But he deserved it! He was making a bi-phobic statement towards your sister, just because who she is attracted to."

The room became dead silent once again.

"Now that the elephant is out of the room, how was your Summer?"

Chapter 12: Chapter 12
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

Over the next few days, everyone in their second year or above began to train for the Quidditch tryouts that would take place on the last day of September. And today was the day most students were waiting for yet dreading at the same time, today was the day of the Quidditch tryouts. At the moment, Primrose and Draco were standing at the end of the corridor that led on to the Quidditch field.

"Alright can we get one thing clear?" Draco asked slightly looking up at Primrose who was now an inch or two taller than him.

"And what may this thing be?" Prim asked.

"That if either one of us will get the spot of Seeker we'll still see each other the same way.... That we'll still be friends." said Draco who was now avoiding eye contact with Prim.

"Of course! There's no reason to be so petty of something so little." she said.

"Primrose Scott, please come on to the field." Marcus Flint said through the microphone in the announcer's booth.

"Good luck Flower." said Draco.

"Same goes to you Blondie." Prim responded. As she walked on to the Quidditch field, Draco felt a deep blush go up on to his pale cheeks.

Prim had never called him that before. Yes she has called him a few other nicknames the past few weeks, but maybe it was because  Draco had done the same thing to her since the first day of classes. Now that he thought about it, he kind of liked the new nickname. Draco's train of thoughts was suddenly interrupted by a whistle and a sigh.

"Blaze what are we going to do with this boy?" Poe asked as he stood at Draco's right side while Blaise was on his left.

"No idea, maybe he's too head over heels to keep his cool..." said Blaise.

"What are you two talking about?" Draco asked, he turned around so he could face him.

" can say that we've been taking some of your actions to our notice." said Blaise.

"Like...?" Draco asked putting his hand out.

"August thirtieth, nineteen ninety-two, twelve o'five p.m. . At Flourish and Blotts Prim had given Harry Potter a hug. Once you had seen this event take place, you had immediately ripped a page out of a nearby book, walked down the stairs at a almost fast sort of pace and began to talk to Harry in a harsh sort of tone. It had seemed as though you were...jealous, were you not?" said Poe.

"Obviously I wasn't fast enough." Draco muttered in an inaudible tone of voice.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Blaise asked placing his hand by his ear.

"I said, 'I may have been...a bit...jealous.' " said Draco.

"Just because Prim gave Harry a hug? Honestly man we knew you liked her, but damn! We didn't know that you liked her that much." said Poe.

"Yeah! You literally blush almost every time the two of you are by each other." said Blaise.

"And is there a way that we could make that happen less? Like, make it less obvious?" Draco said avoiding eye-contact.

"Well, there may be a way..." said Poe.

"Which is-" Draco was interrupted by Prim walking into the corridor and giving Poe a hug.

"They want you next Blondie." said Prim, Draco nodded and walked on to the field. "So, what were ya' talking about?"

Blaise and Poe looked at each other.

"Just the norm, classes and stuff." Poe responded, Prim looked at him almost as though she could see through his lie.

"Okay..." said Prim.

"How was tryouts? Beater, if I'm not mistaken?" Blaise asked.

"Yup!" Prim responded sighing while popping the 'p'. "It went along pretty well! Oh, this is my stop." Prim said gesturing to the girls locker room.

" 'Kay see you later." Blaise and Poe said in unison before they walked off.

Prim walked into the locker room and changed out of the Slytherin Quidditch robes that she was wearing and into a pair or jeans, a Queen t-shirt and a pair of black Doc Martins with yellow laces in a ladder-lace knot. She had also taken her satchel from locker number A-113 that had everything she would need. It had her wand, her Walkman, headphones, a cassette tape, a pencil and, a notebook that she would occasionally write stories in.

Prim walked out of the locker room and made her way back to the Common Room, taking as much time as she needed. As she had neared the Black Lake, she had began to get a bit tired from Quidditch try-outs.

"It's only about three in the afternoon, a short nap won't hurt anyone..." Prim mumbled under her breath.

She walked over to a tall tree that didn't give off too much or too little shade and sat down. In Prim's eyes the scenery in front of her was breath taking, and if you were in the same spot, you'd probably say the same. 'But it'd probably be better if I get back to the Common Room.' Prim thought.

Prim left her spot under the tree with a sigh and began making her way back to the Slytherin Common Room. Once she had met her destination, Prim walked up the stairs and into the girl's dormitories. She plopped on to the bed face-down and began to take a nap.

By the time Prim had woken up, it was dark out and Pansy was fast asleep. She looked over to her nightstand to check the time but something else had caught her attention, next to her alarm clock was a poem and a rose that was half red and half white. Prim had picked up the poem and it said :

'The tips of your hair are winter fire, January embers, my heart burns there too.

(AN: Hello everyone! That's it for Chapter 12, I hope that you enjoyed it. The short poem that you just read was from Stephen King's 'IT'. Chapter 13: Chapter 13
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

(AN: This may or may not have some angst in it. P.S.- Thank you so much for 300 views!)

The week after Prim had received the anonymous poem, the roles for that year's Slytherin Quidditch team were revealed. Marcus Flint earned the role of chaser, as well as Adrian Pucey and Aidan Paige, Miles Bletchley  earned the role as keeper, Draco is the new seeker and, the new beaters are Prim and Derrick Hardgreevs.

Once Marcus was done announcing everyone's positions, the entire team had went into their respective locker rooms and began to change into their Quidditch uniforms. When everyone was done changing they had begun to make their way on to the Quidditch field. However, on the route they had made in an encounter with the entire Gryffindor Quidditch team. And to the Gryffindors surprise, the Slytherin team were in their Quidditch uniforms.

"Where do you think you're going Flint?" Oliver Wood asked as the opposing teams stopped in their tracks.

"Quidditch practice." Marcus replied.

"I booked the field for Gryffindor today." said Oliver.

"Easy Wood, I've got a note." Marcus said as he passed Oliver a small parchment note, Hermione and Ron walked over towards Harry.

" 'I Professor S. Snape, here by give the Slytherin team permission to use the Quidditch field today to train their new seeker and beater.'. You've got a new seeker and beater? Who are they?"

The three chasers moved out of the way revealing Draco and Prim, the two of them stepped forward to the front of the group.

"Malfoy, Prim?!"Harry said in shock, Prim nodded her head 'yes'.

"That's right. And that's not all that's new this year." Draco said as he showed off his Nimbus 2001.

"Those are Nimbus 2001's, how'd you get them?!" said Ron.

"They were a gift from Draco's father." Prim mumbled.

"Y'see Weasley, unlike some, my family can afford the best." Draco said smirking.

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in, they got in on pure talent." Hermione said confidently.

"No one asked for your opinion. You filthy little mud-blood." said Draco.

As soon as the last few syllables of Draco's sentence left his mouth, the only thing you could see in Prim's eyes were pure rage. A rage that spread through her whole body like a forest fire. Something small at first, but grows to be something much, much bigger. She tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around with a smile as though he actually did something good.

"You'll pay for that one Malfoy, eat slug-!" Ron was interrupted by Prim slapping Draco on the cheek. After the word 'slug' had left Ron's mouth, he flew backwards and his face became vomit green.

Draco looked back at Prim with a glare, however she had returned the favor since her had left Draco's cheek. Even though Prim didn't say it, he knew what she would've said by the expression on her face.

'Don't you ever call Hermione that name again. And if you do, you'll go through a living hell.'

In the end, Slytherin had won the Quidditch field for practice. No words whatsoever were exchanged between Draco and Primrose, except for the occasional glare at one another. At the end of practice, Marcus had complimented Prim on her first day of playing as beater.

After everyone had changed back into their casual-wear, they went back to the Slytherin Common Room. And now Primrose and Draco found themselves on opposite ends of the fire place that they would share their hopes and dreams, fears and events they would dread, everything, every night, arguing.

"What the hell was that for?!" Draco exclaimed as his fingertips grazed over his cheek.

"Oh don't be so dramatic, I was just giving you what you had deserved! And that wasn't even full force either..." Prim said crossing her arms over her chest.

"What did I do to deserve that?!" said Draco, Prim scoffed.

"Do you really want to know the answer?! The slur you called Hermione, who is my best friend! You know how I feel about her, I would take a cruciartus curse for her! She's like family to me Draco! I thought that I almost knew you like my mind, but your actions had proved otherwise!" Prim said as tears began to prick at the corners of her eyes.

"And while we're on the topic of actions, the only reason why I'm a beater is because of my decisions! I wanted to audition as seeker, but I knew that it would make you happy if you were in that role instead. So, I put your happiness before my own, took my role as beater, so that you could be happy. Do I want to continue to play as beater and am I happy playing as one? Yes, yes I am! But how much happier would I have been if I got to play as seeker? Very!"

At this point tears were flowing down Prim's face, she gave him one final glare before going up to the girl's dorms and slamming the door with a loud bang. By the time Prim had gotten into the room, she was silently sobbing. She slid down the door and laid her head back so that it was resting against the hard wooden door.

Prim had thought that she was alone, however she was mistaken. Pansy had just walked out of the restroom and as soon as she saw Prim, a girl who you can always trust, a girl with one of the brightest smiles, and a girl with one of the kindest hearts, crying. Pansy rushed towards Primrose and crouched down to her level.

"Hey wanna tell me what's wrong?" Pansy asked rubbing figure eights on Prim's arm.

With out looking her way Prim whispered out a 'no'.

As hours went by, Pansy had tried comfort Prim as best as she could. She gave Prim a shoulder to cry on, and told her a few jokes which made the two of them grin at the least. But by the time dinner rolled around Pansy had said that she needed to go.

"You can go along, I might just need some alone time." Prim said as she wiped a tear from her face using the sleeve of her sweatshirt.

"Are you sure?" Pansy asked with her eyebrows knitted together, Prim nodded.

"I'm sure." Prim replied.

"Okay, see you later." Pansy said as she picked up her bag.

"See you later." Prim replied with sort of a half smile.

Pansy grabbed the door knob and silently closed in on her way out. Once she was out of the room, Prim's smile slowly began to fade into an almost emotion-less expression. Prim began to zone-out and think about all of the memories she had made with him. Every memory that the two of them had made together went through her head like a movie put in fast forward.

Slowly, sadness was the only thing that she could feel.

Slowly, tears began to prick at the corners of her heterochromic eyes.

Slowly, tears began to flow down her olive cheeks.

Slowly, she had begun to cry a puddle.

Slowly, that puddle had become a bucket.

Slowly, that bucket had turned into a river.

Slowly, the drip that created the river ended.

She had no more tears left to cry, she was numb.

She had become so numb that she didn't realize a purple orchid on her desk that wasn't there when the day had started.

Once everyone came back from dinner, they had gotten into their sleepwear and went to bed for the night. Prim looked over to her nightstand and saw that now would be the time where the two of them would talk. She walked towards the door, her hand was less than a few centimetres away from it's handle, but she stopped all of the sudden.

'No. This time he deserves it. I'm not going to say anything to him just yet.'

Draco's p.o.v :

I walked up to the girl's dorm to try to speak to Prim or at least ask Pansy for some advice on the subject. I was about to knock on the door, but stopped before my knuckles hit the hard wood. I sighed.

"If I were to even knock for her, Primrose wouldn't even open the door."

Chapter 14: Chapter 14
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

Today was October thirty-first, exactly three weeks since Primrose and Draco's fight. Over those three weeks, Primrose had gotten a new flower once a week and, no words were exchanged between Primrose and Draco. The two of them only talked unless they were forcibly paired up in class by one of their professors. At the moment, everyone was clearing out of all of the classrooms and preparing themselves for the Halloween feast.

Draco was packing up his textbook for History of Magic, one of his least favorite classes. As he was about to pull on the zipper to close his bag, he felt something soft hit his head. Draco looked down on to his desk and saw a crumpled up piece of parchment. He unwrapped the parchment and saw that it was a note from Poe.

"Don't forget about tonight! Stock up on sweets for afterwards, it would be best to get as much as your pockets can hold or to bring a small bag." Draco muttered as he read the note.

Draco looked back up and nodded his head, Poe nodded back and waited outside of the classroom for him. Draco closed his back-pack, placed one of his arms through a strap and walked out of the classroom. Once Draco walked out of the classroom Blaise was talking to Poe and he had realized that Poe was looking a little bit pink in the cheeks.

"Hey Draco!" Blaise said, Draco gave him a nod.

"Ready for tonight?" Poe asked as the three of them began to walk towards the Slytherin Common Room.

"Sure, I uh-guess..." Draco responded.

"Look mate...we know that things between you and Prim aren't what they used to be, but maybe you should try to loosen up a bit." Blaise said as he slightly nudged Draco in the side.

"I don't know Blaise, Primrose was a really close friend of mine..." Draco said looking down. “Plus...I loved her, and even after the argument a few weeks back I think I still might love her.”

"Ya know we're not forcing you to come, we just-" Poe was interrupted by Draco slightly raising his hand.

"I know, I know. 'We just want you to loosen up and have fun'." said Draco.

”So, is it a yes or a no?” Blaise asked.

There was a long pause before Draco made his final decision.

“Yes, yes I am coming.” Draco responded, Poe and Blaise nodded.

When the three of them had finally gotten to the Slytherin Common Room, Primrose was reading the book 'Good Omens' by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett by the window with her legs up against the wall and her torso on the cushion area (don't worry, she was wearing pants). Prim closed the book after she had placed her bookmark inside of the book and got up from her seat to leave the Common Room and go into her dorm.

"You done fucked-up man, Prim doesn't even want to be in here with you for two minutes." said Blaise, Draco sighed.

"She's probably just going to change clothes, I mean it is Halloween after all." Poe said to Draco to try and make him feel a bit better.

"You sure about that?" Blaise asked, Poe nodded.

Two minutes later, Prim walked out of the girl's dormitories wearing a black dress that went down to her knees with a white collared shirt underneath, and a pair of yellow laced Doc. Martins with the yellow laces in a ladder-lace knot along with her satchel. As soon as she walked out of the Common Room, silence was all that was to be heard for a moment or two.

"See, told you." Poe said, Draco sighed.

"You know what, let's just get ready now. Since we have nothing better to do..." Blaise said as he began to walk up the stairs to the boy's dormitories.

Meanwhile, Primrose was walking towards the Gryffindor Common Room to meet up with Harry, Ron and Hermione to go to Nearly-Headless Nick's death day party. Once Primrose had gotten to the portrait of the Fat Lady, she looked her up and down a bit.

"Password?" the Fat Lady asked.

"Oh...I'm just waiting for a few friends." Primrose replied, the Fat Lady nodded.

"I see, how has your day been so far?" said the Fat Lady.

"Pretty good!" Prim replied as she attempted to smile a bit...The past few weeks haven't been the best for her.

Suddenly, the portrait moved a side for a second or two to reveal the trio still in their uniforms. Primrose, Harry, Ron and Hermione  began to walk down the many corridors of school discussing what they think the party will be like. The four had taken many twists and turns and, went down many flights of stairs until they had reached one of the more roomier dungeons of the castle.

Prim reached up to the bronze doorknocker and lightly tapped it on the wooden door. The face of the Fat Friar poked through the door and looked down at the four of them.

"Happy Halloween! Come in, the party had just begun!" said the Fat Friar. Ron had held open the door for the others and they had each told him a thank you as they passed. Primrose took the scene that was laid out before her.

There were many long tables with white table cloths filled with food, however when you got close they had given off a very foul odor. Many of the ghosts were slowly dancing to the music coming out of a record player while others conversed with one another. The pale blue light that the ghosts had given off went through the crystals of the chandeliers, making the dimly lit room slightly look like a ballroom you'd find in a fairy tale.

"Hello Children, nice to see that you came!" a voice said. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Primrose turned around to see Nearly-Headless Nick with a grin as wide as a sideways crescent moon.

"Hello Sir Nickolas, it's nice to see you as well." said Primrose.

"I hope the four of you enjoy the party, the Headless Hunt should be arriving soon. Meanwhile you can just do your own thing." Nearly-Headless Nick said before he floated off towards the Bloody Barron.

Hermione walked towards Primrose and had looked at, almost started at her for a moment.

"Rough week?" Hermione asked, Primrose jumped so high she nearly touched the sealing.

"K-kind of I guess..." Primrose replied, Hermione nodded.

"Okay, you've just seemed a bit more tired than usual." said Hermione.

"Usually me and Draco would talk at night, but ever since the fight we've stopped talking unless it was for educational purposes." said Primrose.

"So you're saying that you can't really sleep without the talks?" Hermione asked.

"No...well yes, kind of, I-" Primrose sighed, "I really don't know 'Mione."

"Okay well maybe you should eat something, that could give you a bit more energy." said Hermione, Prim nodded.

"Yeah...maybe." said Prim.

A few minutes later, the Head-less Hunt had arrived at the death day party with their heads placed in the palms of their right hands. After they had arrived and stayed around the party for ten to fifteen minutes, the Head-less Hunt had concluded that Sir Nickolas' request to join would be pending approval until further notice.

Then all of the sudden, the intercom went off and Professor Dumbledore announced that everyone was to report to the second floor corridor. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Prim quickly said good-bye to Sir Nickolas and headed towards the second floor corridor as they were instructed to.

Once they had gotten there, they were met with the sight of Mrs. Norris being hung off of a torch holder from her tail. Along with Mrs. Norris being hung, there was water on the floor, and the following words were written on the walls in blood.

"The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the air beware..."

(AN: And that's it for Chapter 14 everyone! I hope that you enjoyed it. I also hope that you have a good morning/afternoon/night. Thank you so much for 400 views! And finally, wear a god damn mask!)

Meanwhile at the Scott household:

Katniss had just finished a shift at St. Mungo's. She is now currently in  the kitchen heating up some leftover pasta from the other night. However just as she was about to sit down, the fireplace had made an almost strange ringing noise and it had come from their fireplace.

The way that the Scott’s fireplace had worked was a bit...interesting. Whenever someone would try to get in via the floo network, it would make a ringing noise (sort of like a muggle doorbell would). A second or two after the ringing, the name of the entree would be called. If the name was recognizable, they could come in. And if it wasn’t, then the entree would be sent back to the fireplace that they had used previously.

Katniss immediately grabbed her wand. A second passed, now two, and then three.

“Narcissa Malfoy.” the fireplace called.

Katniss let out a slight sigh of relief and lowered her wand.

“Recognizable.” said Katniss.

Katniss walked into the living room to see one of her closest friends, Narcissa Malfoy. They haven't talked face to face in years, however they have communicated through letters since then. Narcissa was looking into Katniss’ hazel eyes, eyes that had brought back so so many memories from the past long ago. Narcissa held out her arms with slight tears in her eyes as if she was silently saying, ”I missed you.”.

Katniss ran up to Narcissa and hugged her tightly, as though they would never hear from and or see one another for the rest of their lives. However...that’s what it had

almost felt like.

”Kat.” Narcissa choked out in between tears.

”Cissy.” Katniss whispered.

Even though Narcissa was making Katniss’s work uniform wet, she didn't care.

”It’s been so long, so many years.” Narcissa said, removing her face from Katniss’s shoulder.

"March eleventh 1993 will make ten." Katniss said, rubbing Narcissa's back soothingly.

"Yeah..." Narcissa said quietly.

"Can I uh- get you anything?" Katniss asked.

"Some tea or water would be fine." Narcissa replied.

"Okay, you can just make yourself at home for the time being." Katniss said as she walked into the kitchen, Narcissa followed.

"So, what have you been doing the last nine years?" Narcissa asked.

"Nothing much. Rebecca got married last year, and the twins started Hogwarts three months later. And you?" Katniss replied, turning away from a cabinet to face Narcissa.

"I've been staying home raising Draco while Lucius works at the Ministry. So, I could say the same thing "nothing much"." Narcissa replied as she tried to get her foot to stop repeatedly go up and down.

"Uh huh." Katniss said, turning back to the tea kettle on the stove.

"So about the twins specifically Primrose, Lucius has wanted to know if the thing was still in agreement...?" Narcissa asked, looking down at the dining room table. Katniss sighed as she turned around.

When Katniss had turned around her hazel eyes had glowed, making them a bit yellow. Katniss didn't want to do this but almost felt like it was needed. She searched through Narcissa's thoughts and could tell that she really didn't want to ask her that. Katniss now knew that it was only Lucius and Lucius only that had wanted to know that.

Katniss looked towards a moving picture of Primrose as a baby, reaching for something on the other side of the photo, some of her body coming out of frame, then having a block in her hand. There was only one problem with the was ripped in two and only of it half remained.

March Eleventh 1983 at Malfoy Manor:

Narcissa and Katniss were in the living room, discussing the futures possibilities. Such as weather or not their children will be in the same Hogwarts house, you know, things like that. Katniss had looked over to the play mat to see an adorable sight.

"Cissy look." Katniss said gesturing to their children.

Narcissa looked over and thought that her heart would melt any second now. She quickly grabbed the camera that was on the side table. Prim was trying to reach a block that was a bit far away. And Draco seeing that she was almost there, decided to grab it for her and hand it to her. Primrose looked at the block and smiled at the small gesture.

"I got a picture!" Narcissa said excitedly.

"You did not!" said Katniss.

"I did!" Narcissa handed Katniss the picture and watched as the scene played over and over again.

And now instead of talking, they were taking pictures of their children side by side one another. After a new picture was taken, a copy was made for each family. Lucius and Leo had walked back into the room and Narcissa could've sworn that they were talking about an agreement. She slightly nudged Katniss in the side and nodded her head in their husband's direction. Katniss had heard the word "betroth" had come into conversation.

"What betrothal are you two talking about?" Katniss asked with an eyebrow raised.

"The betrothal of my son and your daughter." Lucius responded.

"Kat don't you think it would be nice for our kids to get married to one another and have kids of their own?" Leo asked.

"And don't you think it would be nice for our children to love who they want to." Katniss shot back.

"Or to find out who they're attracted to and love them instead of being forced to pretend to love somebody!" Narcissa added.

"How do you know that they won't love each other?" Lucius asked.

"And how do you know that they will?!" Narcissa and Katniss exclaimed.

"They're only two years old, not even toddlers yet!" Narcissa exclaimed.

"They're going to get married when they're of age, not when they're minors!" said Lucius.

Then, a disagreement had began to break out between the two sides. All in all the argument was long, it had went on forever. In the end, the Scotts had left the Manor and let's say that they wouldn't return for a while. However there was something that Narcissa and Katniss wouldn't know until years later.

Present Day:

The tea kettle on the stove produced its loud whistle, bringing Katniss back to reality. Had she really been zoning out for that long?

"Yes...the betrothal is still in agreement." Katniss replied, carefully taking the kettle off of the stove.

Katniss had placed the tea into a teapot and added the teabag. She placed the teapot on to a tray along with the two cups, spoons and small container of sugar. Katniss had waved her wand and watched as the tray had levitated itself and went to the table.

"That's a bit of a shame..." Narcissa said, pouring herself a cup of tea.

"Yeah." Katniss replied taking a sip of her tea.

"I don't know about Primrose, but it seems as though Draco is attracted to her." Narcissa said, smirking. Katniss had almost chocked on her drink.

"What?!" Katniss exclaimed.

"Oh yeah! And I have signed evidence from the princess himself too." Narcissa said placing her tea cup down on to the table gently.

"Now this...I've got to see!" said Katniss.

"Well in that case, this is going to be a long night." said Narcissa.

Practically the entire school was on the right end of the corridor, the trio and Primrose were on the other. And the message from the messenger was what came between the two groups, splitting one apart from the other.

"Enemies of the heir beware?! You'll be next mud-bloods..." Draco scowled, Primrose gave him a glare.

Then, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, Professor Lockheart and Professor Snape rushed to the front to get a better examination of the scene. All of the sudden, a feeling of anxiety hit Primrose like a ton of bricks. Even though she knew that they had done nothing wrong. Dumbledore walked a bit closer to Misses Norris. As if things couldn't get any better, Filch rushed towards the middle. Once Filch had knew that his eyes weren't dissaving him, a look of anger and a need of vengeance came on to his pale face.

"Argus...relax." Dumbledore said calmly. Filch almost looked at Dumbledore as though he were insane. "Everyone go back to their Common Rooms, now."

After Dumbledore had said this, everyone on the right side had begun to make their way to the Common Rooms. The four of them looked at each other and had shared the same look, a look of sheer panic. Hermione and Primrose had begun to walk away, but were stopped by their professor's voice.

"Everyone," Professor McGonagall paused," except you four." Snape sighed.

"We need to discuss this in private." said Snape.

"But we are "in private"." Ron whispered, Primrose nudged him in the side hard.

"Now's not the time to be a smart ass!" Primrose whispered.

Then, the four of them had followed their professors to their empty defense against the dark arts classroom. Lockheart closed the door and this, this moment right here, is where the real anxiety had kicked in.

Chapter 16: Chapter 16
[Printer Friendly Version of This Chapter]

After Lockheart had closed the door, the room had went deadly silent. This small action had made Primrose feel like her heart had skipped a beat or two.

"Now," McGonagall  began," we must be civil with this, and have a rational conversation as though we are all adults."

"I agree." Dumbledore said, nodding his head and sliding his half-moon glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"Now that that is settled, we must get on to-" Lockheart was interrupted by Filch.

"Which one of you killed my cat?!" he exclaimed.

"They aren't dead, they're petrified." said Hermione.

"How do you know that?" Snape asked.

"If Mrs. Norris were dead then there would be a rotting smell, which was not anywhere near the area." Primrose defended.

"Exactly!" Ron and Hermione said in unison.

"Even if that were true, my guess would be Potter." Filch said coldly.

"Why me?!" Harry asked.

"First off no one would suspect the golden boy to do it. Second of all, you found out I was a squib and had done the act out of pure spite!" said Filch.

"Not to mention you've been a bit too quiet." said Snape.

"Why would I do an act out of spite if I don't even know what a squib is." Harry shot back.

"A squib is a person born into a wizarding family, but posses no magical abilities of their own." Primrose explained.

"Oh...well even if you weren't a squib, I still wouldn't kill your cat." said Harry.

"Rational conversation!" Dumbledore reminded.

"Where were the four of you during the time of the event?" Lockheart asked.

"Now that I recall it, neither one of them were at dinner." said Snape.

"We were in library." Primrose answered a bit too quickly.

"The library, on Halloween?" McGonagall repeated with an eyebrow raised.

"I see that coming from Scott and Granger. But no so much from Potter and Weasley?" Snape commented.

"We were helping Harry and Ron with potions work." said Hermione, Snape looked at Primrose as though he was asking for confirmation.

"If you're asking me to confirm this, the answer is yes. We were helping one another." Primrose had felt her breathing get heavier.

"I think we should discuss this later, it's getting quite late." McGonagall pitched in.

Then Lockheart, Snape and Dumbledore had walked out of the room. But before Primrose had walked out she had mouthed a 'thank you' to McGonagall, to which she replied with a smile.

The next day seemed exciting, yet full of anxiety at the same time. Why? Today, November first was the first quidditch match of the season.

"Alright," Marcus said turning to the Slytherin team " are there any questions?"

The room stayed silent as a few people shook their heads left and right.

"Let's go then." Draco said, getting up from his seat.

"Ok then, Mr. Control Freak..." Primrose mumbled under her breath.

Everyone had left the meeting room (Idk what it's called but you probably get the idea...) and had went to a little elevated area which had lead to the field. And before Primrose had known it, the doors to the field were opening. Everyone quickly flew out of the elevated area and on to the field.

Madam Hooch went on to the field from below, quaffle in hand and looked at the two teams.

"Now, I want a nice, clean game from all of you!" said Madam Hooch.

Madam Hooch threw the quaffle high in the air and all six of the chasers had went for it. A few seconds later, Angelina Johnson came out successful in retrieving the quaffle and flew towards the Slytherin goal posts. Then, Marcus Flint stole the ball and flew towards the Gryffindor goal posts. Basically, the quaffle was passed back and fourth and back again between teams for the next few minutes. However after Aiden Paige had stolen the quaffle from Katie Bell, he was successful in making a goal; scoring ten points for Slytherin.

As time went on, the scores for both teams went higher and higher. At the moment, the score was Gryffindor: thirty, Slytherin: ninety. After Lee Jordan had announced the score, two of the Slytherin chasers and Draco had taken a quick lap around the field. However once they had gotten near Harry, they had attempted to hit him on the back of the neck (kind of like the "I like ya gut G" meme)

A bludger came into view, Primrose juggled her bat in her left hand. The bludger came closer and closer with ever second that had passed.

'Three...' Primrose thought

'Just like practice, swing when it gets about eye-level one second before'

Primrose swung her bat with all of her might, the bludger almost flew out of the stadium. Primrose flew next to Harry and by the way she had greeted him, it looked as though his soul had left his body.

"Hello Harry." Primrose greeted, Harry's broom rose slightly. Primrose chuckled.

"Hey Prim." Harry greeted.

"I'm sorry about what they had done to you earlier, as they had passed." Primrose said, looking at the ground below them.

"It's okay, we can't exactly control others..." said Harry.

"Yeah. It's reality, nothing more or less than the truth." said Primrose.

"I hope things will get better between the two of you, you and Malfoy." Harry said, almost....sympathetically?

"It's okay, things happen, it's just the way life is. Life isn't this perfect square that we can plan out from the very beginning, instead it's more of a circle. We are destined to start with a single dot, birth. As seconds pass, the circle grows, like we do as time goes on. Then a semi-circle, which would represent adult-hood; when we aren't too old or too new. Finally, the second you lift your pen from the parchment and the circle is complete, that would represent death. And besides about ninety percent of the time, circles aren't completely round, but rather ovular. " Primrose explained.

"So basically, you said that life isn't perfect and some things are just expectant?" Harry asked.

"Uh yeah, pretty much."  Primrose responded.

"That...actually hit pretty deep." Harry said looking down.

"Uh thanks?" Primrose said swinging her legs back and forth with a chuckle.

"Your welcome." Harry said with a slight blush.

"One second." Primrose left her current area and swung a second bludger with even more force than the last.

"Alright there Scar Head!" Draco taunted.

Just then, another bludger came in toward Harry's direction. Harry flew down a bit to avoid said bludger.

"Watch yourself Harry!" said Oliver Wood.

"Wood look out!" Harry exclaimed as the same bludger came back and hit the front end of Oliver's broomstick.

The bludger went up and down then back around the field until it had almost reached Harry. It had seemed as though the bludger was following him where ever he had went. Primrose's eyes followed the bludger wherever it went.

'The bludger's trying to hit him from behind. Maybe if I follow him with just the right amount of speed, and get close enough, I can try to hit it across the field...' Primrose thought.

As the bludger was following Harry in and out of the field, it was destroying some of the posts to the seating areas. After Harry had got the bludger off of his tail for a moment, Draco thought that it'd be so wise to taunt him.

"Training for the ballet Potter?!" Draco taunted sarcastically.

Primrose flew over towards Draco's left and had snapped her fingers.

"Hey Dumbass, how about you try looking for the snitch instead of taunting the opponent?" Primrose sarcastically remarked.

Draco looked towards her, not hearing the buzzing noise from his right. It was the snitch. Unlike Draco however, Harry realized that the snitch was just a few mere feet away from him. Primrose dashed forward behind Harry and hit the bludger that was coming in the group's direction.

Harry flew forward in Draco's direction at top speed, arm out; ready to feel the small walnut sized ball in his hand. Draco ducked, expecting Harry to make an assault on him. After Harry had passed him, Draco had turned around and realized how much of a mistake he had made. Draco turned around and flew as fast as he could to catch up to Harry. And once he did, Draco shoved Harry and flew forward with his left arm outstretched. And that was all that the viewers could see of the seekers as for now, Draco and Harry were now under (?) the field, out of sight.

However not so long afterwards, Draco had returned and fell on to the field. Then, Harry returned back above, the bludger still chasing him, and Harry was still chasing the snitch. He leaned forward a bit and had caught it!

But sadly, the victory was short lived. The bludger had hit his left arm....

~After The Game, Slytherin Meeting Room~

"Primrose, this isn't what I had expected from you on our first game! You were talking with the opponent and taunting your teammates." Marcus Flint said, arms crossed.

"And you aren't disappointed with these fuckers!" Primrose exclaimed, gesturing to Draco and two of the chasers "They had attempted to assault the opponent. And for what reason?!"

Marcus was silent for a moment.

"Well-it..." Marcus stuttered, he was almost at a loss for words.

"Exactly, you can't! And do you know why Flint?" Primrose asked sarcastically. "Because there was no reason! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to the Hospital Wing."

And just like that, Primrose had left the meeting room, with a shit-eating-grin on her face.
