Somethings are even to farfetched for Witches to believe in.

*Sixteen Years Ago*

Caelum watched the beautiful Witch from afar. Her long silky black hair flowed down her back in perfect waves that made even the finest Angels look hideous in comparison. She moved with delicate steps that were sure to be soundless to a Muggle’s ears. The corners of her perfect lush lips moved upwards into a beautiful smile as she thanked the paperboy standing on her front porch.

The young muggle boy made some horrible attempt at a joke, and yet, the Witch’s giggle echoed through the calm air. Caelum smiled, it was hard not to when her laughter was like a beautiful melody. Her piercing grey eyes lit up like shining white gold as her light giggles sang all the way up to where Caelum was perched on her roof.

He watched as she waved a delicate hand to the paperboy, bidding him farewell. After she disappeared back into the confines of her home, Caelum spread his large wings out before soaring up into the sky. His mind was in a jumble. He knew that he was utterly forbidden from so much as communicating with her never the less touching her, and yet, his sheer attraction toward her was undeniable.

For months Caelum had been watching this gorgeous Witch and as each day passed by his desire for her grew stronger. His mere attraction toward her had quickly turned to undying lust. He needed her - he had to have her in his arms. Her beauty was by far too hard to resist, and yet, fear for what may become of him if her gave into his urges, nagged at the back of his mind.

It was forbidden, he continued to remind himself, Forbidden!

But alas, his hunger grew too strong until he could not deny himself the beautiful Witch any longer.

The next night, Caelum was watching her from the top of her neighbor’s roof. She was just returning home from a blind date gone horribly wrong and when Caelum saw her step out of her car, any self control he had once been harboring, vanished.

She was wearing a black silky cock-tail dress that clung to her skin like it was spray on paint. Every perfect curve in her body was enhanced magnificently. Her raven black hair was thrown up into a messy style bum that forced her to look even sexier than usual. Even her lips looked poutier with the thin layer of red lipstick coating them.

Before Caelum had the chance to second guess himself, he was standing on the street in front of her driveway. His wings withdrew into his back, disappearing from sight. “Hello Miss, are you by any chance Nicole Marcello?”

The Witch quickly turned around to face Caelum. The second her eyes found the man standing at the end of her driveway, she felt her knees weaken. Her heart began to throb and she seemed to lose the ability to speak. He was beautiful. Stunning. The most gorgeous man she had ever seen in her entire live.

Unable to even open her mouth to say ‘yes, and who might you be?’ she merely nodded her head.

Nicole never was the type of woman to give herself freely to men, but Caelum was different. He was irresistible. It was impossible to deny him; he was after all, an Angel.

After a few minutes of Caelum sweet talking Nicole, she eagerly invited him inside for a glass of wine. It had first began as an innocent little encounter, but sometimes something as innocent as inviting a stranger into your home could become the biggest mistake of your life.

For Nicole, it was.

Nine months later a baby was born.

Caelum was perched on top of a large building, staring into the hospital window as the doctor handed Nicole her little baby girl. Caelum tried to get a better look, praying silently that the baby did not bare the Angel’s mark. Hoping with every last ounce of his being that she was not his child and that Nicole had been with a different man at the time.

But then he saw it. The light pink birthmarks on her entire back in the shape of an upside down V. Caelum took a deep breath and looked down at the street below him. He knew they were coming, he could feel it.

“Caelum, my Brother, it seems the child is yours.” A blond haired angel appeared beside Caelum with two other Archangels standing behind him. “You knew the rules, Caelum, Why?” The angel asked bowing his head with disappointment, “Why did you do it?”

Caelum glanced up as his Brother, “I could not resist her. It was too hard.”

The blond Angel shook his head, “But dear brother, not only did you do something that is completely forbidden but you spawned a child in the process. You know the Almighty does not approve of having half-bred Angels existing in the World. That is why it is forbidden to associate with Earth’s creatures.” He sighed, “Our Lord will not interfere with that Witch’s choices regarding her child, but because of your wrongful actions…you must be punished.”

Caelum snapped his head up, “But-“

“No Caelum, there is nothing I can do now. I am sorry, brother.” The blond Angel stood up to his feet as his two Archangel companions grabbed onto Caelum’s arms, holding him still in a vice-like grip.

“No, Adrian, don’t do this!” Caelum cried out as he struggled against the other Angels’ hold. “Please!”

“I am sorry Caelum, but you knew what it was you were risking in making the choice you had.” Adrian said quietly right before he pulled out a large silver sword and sliced Caelum’s wings off.

The fallen angel’s screams echoed through the night air causing the tiny baby girl in the hospital room to begin crying.
