AN: Well yet another story. I had written this long ago, but lost that when my computer died. But I love this plot, so I decided to try and rewrite it, yet only better.

Her name was Regan, Regan Clementine. And she was a star in the wizarding world. Her blonde hair, grey eyes, and freckles were known and loved all around her magical world. She was stunning, sweet, and the ideal role model. But one thing was missing; a Hogwarts Education. And with the power of You-Know-Who on the rise that education was much needed. And that's where she wanted to be.

She sat in her window and stared out into Hogwarts from the warmth of her Hogsmead home. Her mum bustling in the room next to hers as she yelled at Regan's assistants.

"I want you there with her!" was the yell that echoed the peaceful town.

Regan got up slowly from her spot and made her way over to her mum.

"Mum I don't want them there..." Regan vocalized from the vast doorway.

"But Rey hun..." was what her mum's response was.

"I'll already stick out like a sore thumb there...and they aren't the ones that need to be's me." Regan reasoned with her mum.

"But Rey Rey...what if..." her mother started.

"Mum. Big brother will be there..."

"I'm not sure that he'll want you hanging around though..." Her mother looked concerned.

"He has to...we're going into the same year..." Regan smiled brightly and headed down the hall to retrieve her wand and wait for the carriage to arrive at her house. So that she could finally head up to the school that was basked in the moonlight and looking ever so perfect for her.

When the time came Regan jumped from her spot on the table to rush towards the door where the carriage was just feet away.

"MUM!" She gleefully yelled as she jumped up and down in the door frame next to her trunks. "IT'S HERE!" She yelled through out the house. She waited a few seconds when she heard her mother's heavy footsteps come down the stairs. "Can I go can I can I can I?" Regan was now jumping around in a circle her soft curls bouncing around her face.

"Come say goodbye to your dear old mum why don't you?" Her mother smiled at her and held her arms out for a hug.

Regan ran to her mum and embraced her tightly, reaching barely her shoulder as she breathed in her mothers perfume.

"I'll come and visit...don't you worry." Regan said pulling away and smiling up to her mother who towered over her.

"I'm not...just...don't bug your brother too much..." She patted her daughters shoulder. "It's been years since you've seen him...I don't think he knows how to deal with you yet..."

"He'll learn..." Regan said from the doorway taking her trunk up from the ground and starting to drag it towards the carriage.

"You be good!" Her mother called as Regan boarded the carriage and settled in for the short ride up. Regan just smiled to herself instead of replying and sunk into the musky seats.

The closer she got the more jittery she got. Before the carriage pulled to a complete stop she had already jumped out of it leaving her luggage in there. Running up to the stairs of the Great Oak Doors she slowly pulled them open, feeling the warmth and light bask her. She walked towards the middle of the entrance hall looking at the Great Hall doors with mild interest.

"Regan Clementine?" A brisk voice said from behind her.

Regan turned around quickly and looked up at the women in emerald green robes.

"Yes." She smiled up at her, her fear receding.

"I'm Professor McGonagall." She said briskly. "Are you ready to get sorted?" She asked her not waiting for reply to her name.

"Yeah." Regan smiled more widely and bounced on her heels once again.

"Well follow me..." McGonagall said taking the lead and walking into the Great Hall.

All eyes fell upon the two figured that had entered the vast hall and who were making their way towards the staff table.  When people had realized who was walking with the Gryffindor Head of House a whisper erupted and Regan was pointed at her name on the lips of the people surrounding her. She looked towards the house that was clad in Red and Gold. Seeing four people that weren't involved in the whispers of herself but having a conversation within their small group. Regan who was use to the whispers, and the attention, was surprised but brushed it off quickly as they came to a stop.

"Ah..." An aging man said from the middle of the table. "Regan Clementine...decided to join us?" He asked softly.

"I'm sorry Professor...I was saying goodbye to my mum..." Regan said shyly turning a tint of pink.

"Ah family. Always hold on dear to them...well I'm assuming that you are ready to become part of one of these lovely houses..." He clapped his hands together and invited her to sit on the rather small stool.

She hesitated before taking a seat on the chair, and soon a hat was placed on her head. Stopping barely at the tip of her nose she said hello to the darkness that surrounded her.

'Ah a Black?' something spoke in her ear. 'Slytherin?'

'Excuse me I don't know what that is...' she thought back.

'So not Ravenclaw it seems...' The hat smartly told her, a hint of laughter in it's voice.

'Excuse me, I'm still confused...' Regan angrily fired. She didn't like not knowing what the hat was talking about.

'Not desperately want to know what I am talking about...' The hat was still laughing at her.

'How can a hat have emotions?'

'Tsk tsk...I do have a brain you know.'

'Really? Well is it only good for mocking me?'

'Ah you would do good with one of your brothers...'

'I have one brother...'

'No two...'

'Yeah but they are split up...'

"GRYFFINDOR!" The hat shouted, Regan wanted to cover her ears. As a table erupted with applause she headed hesitantly over there. People all around her would push someone out of their chair so that Regan could sit next to them. But Regan paid no head to them and went over to the group of boys in the middle of the table. Making room in between a sandy haired boy and someone who had the same features as Regan she sat smiling at the four boys that looked taken aback.

"Hey there you guys!" She sang out smiling at the people around her.

"Erm hello..." The person in front of her with sharp features and glasses said scratching his head in confusion.

"I'm Regan..." Regan started only to be cut off by grey eyes.

"Yeah Clementine we know." He seductively said to her. She let out a small shutter.

She put on a smile and simply declared while she picked something to eat. "Yeah, but who are you all?"

"I'm Sirius Black..." He answered first, trying to slink an arm around her waist. She just pushed it away. Regan looked surprised at the boy who tried to make her swoon.

"Remus Lupin." Remus looked amused at his friend's failed attempts.

"James Potter." The boy with glasses said smiling cheekily at her.

"I'm Peter..." Peter gave her no last name, but looked down at his plate quickly to continue his feasting.

"Well pleasure to meet you Remus, James, and Peter!" Regan giggled bouncing up in her seat.

"What about me?" Sirius whined.

"Well silly willy I've already met you!" Regan cheered elbowing him.

"When did this happen?" They all seemed to ask at once.

"Well you see...mum was having a rough time with me so she dropped me off at Dad's and you answered the door...then Dad came up really fast and hid me in a room. But you later came in an hung out with me! Clementine is just a name they chose for me so that the Black family name wasn't hurting my publicity."

At this point all three boys were trying not to laugh at Sirius who had a disgusted look on his face. "Oh ewwww...I just hit on my sister!" His voice raising an octave higher.

"Oh is that what you were doing?" Regan said innocently smiling at her brother resisting the urge to roll her eyes.

"Wait how are you related to him?" Remus asked being the first one to calm his laughter.

"Well mum, and his dad got carried away, and kinda hammered one night...and one thing led to another and BAM! Mummy is knocked up...Dad decided that he didn't want to tell his wifey poo so he stayed out of our life..." Regan said it a little too cheerfully. "But needless to say, I was still pureblood, so he didn't feel too bad."

Sirius just shrugged and shoveled more food in his mouth, dropping the conversation. Regan gladly did so and went back to trying to stay in her seat. She started to make a conversation, a young man who she thought was rather cute, and mysterious.

"So..." She started, not quite knowing what to say. She scratched her head and bit her lip trying to start something intellectual. "You're smart?" Was what came out of her mouth.

The three guys snorted, but Remus looked at her with an amused expression on his face, and noting that she wasn't embarrassed in the very least, and thought it was a valid question to ask. "I've been called that yes." He smiled at her again, and gave her a small nod.

"Mmmhmm...but do you think your smart?" Regan threw him a brain teaser.

'Ah so there is a method to her questions?' Remus thought before thinking about the question. "If I say yes you'd think I think to highly of my self, to the point that I may be conceded. But if I say no you would think I'm to modest..." Remus pointed out.

"No not that. I think it's good to think highly of yourself, but not to the point of concedeness. Yes I said a made up word. But if you were to say no, then I have reason to believe that all those people that had called you smart were lying."

Remus raised his eyebrows up at her, and then looked up at Sirius above her head who was snickering at him. "Well then I would say, yes, yes I am rather smart." Remus answered her smiling at her again.

"Well ok, good answer, just wish you would've answered that before I told you it was ok to be smart. Anyway Mr Smarty Pants, what's houses here? The hat was making fun of me saying I couldn't be in Ravenclaw cause I didn't know what they were."

"Well Ravenclaw is the smart house of out school." Remus say her confused look and decided to elaborate on it more. "There were four founders that started this school. Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rewena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Well they took their surname and created different houses. They would sort students into their house that they would teach. Ravenclaw was the intellect of the houses. Gryffindor taught those who were brave. Slytherin, only the purest of bloods. And Hufflepuff, took the rest." Remus explained, remembering what it said in Hogwarts: A History.

"And the hat said it had a brain is that true?" Regan asked nodding her head showing that she understood.

"Yes I think it was Gryffindor used his hat to create it, and Slytherin added the brain...if that is correct." Remus struggled to remember.

" it does have feelings." Regan smiled slightly and then hushing with the rest of the student body when Dumbledore got up to talk.

"Well now that we are all fed, and I am sure rather sleepy. It is about time to go off to bed. But a quick word before we do, please do not give your fellow students any injuries, just so that you can talk to our local celebrity." Dumbledore said amused. Then clapping his hands together he dismissed them to their dormitories for the night.

The four boys showed her up to the portrait where their Common Room was nestled away. James mumbled the password so that the Fat Lady would swing open. When they entered the common room it was completely empty.

"If you head up've surely find your room." Sirius pointed her off and with the three other boys walked out of the common room.

"Thanks!" She called out to the closing portrait. She then made her way up the stairs and reached the door that said Seventh Year Girls. Entering she saw only one girl up. Her red hair falling in front of her face as she worked on taking her clothes neatly out of her trunk.

Regan cleared her throat nervously while staying in the door. "Oh hi!" The girl said looking up from her neatly folded clothes. "I'm Lily, Lily Evans, you must be Regan." Lily walked over and shook her hand like she was just an average person. Regan smiled at her a nodded shyly. "Well they brought your trunk up, it's right there next to the window, we share the room with three other girls, and they like to get the bathroom first in the morning, so if you don't mind waiting to get ready for the day you'll fit in just fine." Lily laughed, her laugh was sweet it was a deep chiming sound that made Regan want to join her.

"Sounds like fun. If you hang out with me then." Regan couldn't resist but laugh too. "Well I'll see you the morning then?" Regan said when a silence fell over. Lily nodded her head and headed back to the sorting of her clothes. Regan just walked over to her trunk and extracted some flannel pajamas.

"Wow, not what I expected..." Lily mumbled looking over at her outfit choice.

"Yeah...well I'm not really into materials, just want to be comfortable, it's not like I'm in the public eye while I sleep..." Regan couldn't help but blush a tad in her overly big sleeping wear.

"Haha yeah, these girls will be disappointed...Well goodnight, we have to get up bright and early to get to classes." Lily crawled into her bed.

"Yeah goodnight..." Regan smiled once again and climbed into her own snuggling down deeply.
