She leaves her heart out on her sleeve. Her Bonnet on her head. Her red hair falling beneath it as she twirls it around her finger. She concentrates on her homework, skimming the dry pages of the books that many think she calls home. As a voice rings in her head, she rolls her eyes, turning the page of the book once again, her sleeve falling down across her arm. She continues to read, biting her lip as she tried to fight back a snide remark. She fingered her earring as she went to run her hands through her hair.

"Evans..." the voice repeated.

She only grunted in reply, her eyes not leaving the page, but he could tell they had stopped skimming the page.

"I was just wondering if you have seen my transfiguration book?" He said noting that he shouldn't disturb her.

She was shocked, looking up she nodded slightly and pointed to the scarlet couch where Sirius and Remus were tossing it around, trying to balance it on their heads.

"Thanks..." He said quickly walking off to go get it, but soon joining into the frolic and play.

She sighed and rolled her eyes before returning back to her book but not being able to concentrate. She scribbled on a bit of parchment her sleeve moving around across it leaving her traces behind. Bees in her bonnet, bees leaving it far behind. She sighed once again and tried to look at her book again, but her eyes lingering on the group of boys that were trying to be gymnasts. She smiled slightly before catching James' eye. Looking down breaking the eye contact she looked at her scribbled parchment starting to draw again. Writing down few phases now and then. After a few more minutes she slowly started to crumple it up, looking at it with intent. She could feel eyes boring into her eyes, under that bonnet. Before finishing the destruction she quickly crossed out a few items before walking over and tossing it in the fire.

She returned to her corner and looked around for a new book she could try to read. She she found none she headed up the stairs and looked at a few more articles from that morning's Daily Prophet rolling her eyes once again as she read the lame corny titles. Laying back into her pillow her red hair fanning out around her, her sleeves rolled down to protect her, her bonnet off for the rest of the night. The words she had written in her mind. Lily Potter, Lily Evans fell asleep, not knowing that James Potter had read her sleeve. Smiling, thinking that one day he may get Lily Evans.
