The New AMAZING Banner made by Sammm @ TDA

This story is abandoned for now. I completely lost the inspartion to write it. I might pick it back up in the future, but as of right now I am not writing on it.

Chapter 17: Hermione's Little Vacation

A/N: I am not for sure what happened to my reviews, but it happened to a lot of stories. So please help get my reviews back to 100!

AA/N: School is going good. I have actually had this chapter written for a while, just never had time to post it. Hope you all like it. We are getting near the end, but not so much, lol. I still have a few more twists and turns.

Chapter Seventeen: Hermione’s little vacation

Aiden had been right. When Hermione got back to Hogwarts everyone was filing out of the Great Hall. Aiden had went back to the cave. Hermione knew he knew more than he let on, but wasn’t going to push it. He had let her in on some of it and surely the rest would fall into place.

“Draco!” Hermione called after him when she finally saw the glint of golden hair come out of the Great Hall. He turned and looked around to see who had called his name. “Over here!” His eyes grew wide as he pushed people out of the way to come over to her.

“Where have you been?” He questioned, embracing her in a hug. She smiled and hugged back.

“Umm… long story. I was wondering if you wanted to spend tonight and tomorrow in the room of requirements with me.” Hermione offered. She knew she had missed enough class as it was, but tomorrow’s wouldn’t hurt. According to Aiden this was part of her mission and her mission was way more important than classes.

“Sure…” He nodded and took her hand. With that they both walked up to the common room.

“Meet me there in ten minutes?” Hermione negotiated.

“Yeah.” He nodded. They weren’t going to leave together. They didn’t want anyone to think anything of it.

As Hermione packed she began to get scared. What if this was the last time she saw Draco? What was she going to say? What was she going to do? She tried to shake off the thoughts as she packed as fast as she could and bolted out of the room.

She wanted to make sure she was at the room first, so she had a chance to change it. She needed a nice cozy little bedroom with furniture and a bathroom. A place she would feel comfortable.

Opening the door Hermione’s breath was caught. The room was beautiful. It was done over in a calm creamy blue. The fire place was just like the common room with sofa and arms chairs on either sides. Then behind it was a queen size bed that matched the walls. She was a bit skeptic about that. She wasn’t for sure if she wanted to give Draco that impression.

“Hermione,” his voice jolted her out of her memories. The bag from her shoulder dropped as she spun around to see him. She smiled and walked over to him.

“Hey,” she smiled, shifting her weight to one foot as she stopped.

“Are you going to tell me where you were now?” He questioned, taking a step closer to her.

“I just… I had to get away.” She shrugged. “You scared me that night on the cliff…”

“I know…” Draco moved her into his arms, kissing her hair. “I am so sorry for that. It was never my intention.”

“I love you.” Hermione whispered into his shoulder. She felt him stiffen a bit and she wasn’t for sure if he heard her. “Draco?”

“I heard you.” He whispered back. “Are you sure?”

“Yeah… I am.” Hermione nodded. She wasn’t sure when she had fallen in love with him, but she knew she was. When she had thought about dieing, he was all she could think about.

“I love you, too.” He replied, pulling back a little bit to kiss her lips.

“Then you will understand after tomorrow I won’t be at school…” Hermione felt the tears start to form in her eyes.

“What? Of course you will…” Draco started to argue, but Hermione shook her head.

“No, Draco, I won’t.” She took in a deep breath, hoping the tears stayed in her eyes until she was through. “I am leaving tomorrow afternoon…”

“Why?” Was Draco’s only question.

“I can’t tell you…” Hermione sobbed, the tears falling. “I had to come back to see you…”

“Hermione, what is going on?” Draco stroked her hair, trying to get her to calm down.

“I can’t tell you.” Hermione shook her head. “I don’t really know myself. Just remember, if I don’t come back, I love you.”

“Don’t come back? Hermione, you are talking crazy…” Draco pulled her closer. “Where are you going?”

“I can’t tell you.” Hermione repeated, but wasn’t getting frustrated. She felt something wet on her neck as Draco buried his face in it. It took her a minute to realize he was crying.

“Don’t go, then.” Draco’s voice cracked a little.

“I have to, Draco.” Hermione replied.

“I can’t lose you.” Draco replied and held her even closer. Neither said another word, just stood there in their embrace.

Hermione pulled back from the embrace after about ten minutes and stared into Draco’s tear filled eyes with her own. She wiped her eyes with her hands and laughed a bit, trying to lighten the mood, but it didn’t help. Draco just stared at her in awe.

A singe of guilt fired up in her stomach. He was looking at her in this way and she had lied to him. He thought she was a prueblood. Hermione, herself, had almost forgot that she wasn’t. No matter what she made everyone think and even herself sometimes, the fact was she was still muggle born. She knew she had to tell him; knowing it would change everything.

As she opened her mouth to tell him he covered his mouth with hers. Everything that she had been thinking disappeared into oblivion as she put everything into the kiss. She felt her tears mix with his. She slowly began to led him to the bed without breaking the kiss.

When she got there she broke the kiss and sat down on the bed, moving back, waiting for him to join her.

“Hermione, what are you doing?” Draco asked as he watched her.

“What does it look like?” Hermione smiled, trying to stop crying, as she looked at him.

“Are you sure? We don’t have to. That isn’t why I came here.” Draco assured her.

“I want to. I love you, Draco. This might be the last night we get to spend together ever and I want to make it worth it.” Hermione explained to him, again forgetting she was actually muggle born.

Draco smirked a little as he crawled on top of her and began to kiss her again.

“I love you.” He breathed in her ear as he began to kiss down her jaw line to her neck while taking off her shirt.

~*~*~Scene Skip~*~*~

Hermione lay on her back, Draco’s arm protectively over her. She looked over at him sleeping soundly and smiled. He looked so much like a child at that point. All his features were relaxed and calm. Hermione reached out and stroked the side of his face, smiling to herself. She yawned and noticed that she would fall back asleep if she didn’t get up and get a shower.

She gently moved his arm off her, slowly laying it back down. She then tip toed off to the shower.

She took in a deep breath as the steam filled the room. She was very sore and climbed into the shower in hopes that it would take away some of the soreness.

She sighed as the hot water caressed her body, hugging it tightly. Her muscles relaxed with the water, and she just stood there for a little bit. She then began her shower, stepping completely under the water.

With her head engulfed in water and all she could hear was it running, she didn’t hear the door open and close again. Nor did she hear the shower curtain slide back and someone else get into the shower with her. She did, however, notice the two arms that wrapped tightly around her waist and the chin that rested on her shoulder.

“You left me…” Draco whispered in her ear, kissing her shoulder.

“I had to get a shower…” Hermione explained taking a deep breath.

“Yeah, well you could have told me. We could have done it together.” Draco offered tightening his grip, but not hard enough to hurt her.

“I didn’t want to wake you.” Hermione replied, turning in his arms. As she looked at his face she knew it was time to tell him the truth. “Draco…”

“Shh…” He cooed as he began to kiss her neck. She had gotten caught up in the moment last night and allowed herself to forget the conversation that they needed to have, but not now.

“No.. Draco, listen.” She demanded, pushing him away. He raised his eyebrow. “I have to tell you something and I really hope you can understand…”

“Are you breaking up with me?”

“No, but you might want to after you hear this… Draco, I lied. I lied about everything. I am not pure-blood and my parents were muggles.” Hermione admitted and waited for his reply. It didn’t come, though. He dropped his arms from her and just stared at her.

Hermione wasn’t for sure if she should apologize or just wait, but before she had time to figure it out Draco stepped out of the shower and Hermione soon heard a door slam. She stepped away from the running water and listened to his movement in the next room. She heard him walking around and then stop. She guessed he was getting dressed. Then soon after she heard the door slam and she knew he was gone.

Hermione hit her head on the wall and slid down it, letting the water pour over her. She was now regretting even coming. She should have just stayed with Aiden.

Hermione got to her feet quickly as she heard the door open again. Could it be Draco coming back? She hopped out of the shower as fast as she could, wrapping a towel around her and shooting out of the bathroom.

“Draco?” Hermione asked as she entered the main room. Nobody was there, though. “Hello?” Hermione questioned, looking around. She had heard someone enter the room, hadn’t she? She was positive she had. She spun around, seeing nothing. “Oh I get it… Aiden, this isn’t funny.” She laughed a bit, relaxing. Aiden was just trying to scare her.

“I’m not Aiden.” Said a very strange voice.

“Oh, you learned to pull your voice. Come on, Aiden, this isn’t funny!” Hermione gave a shaky laugh, not sure if she was believing it was Aiden anymore.

“Grab her.” The voice added and something seemed familiar. Hadn’t this been what was in Aiden’s story. All of a sudden their was a red light and Hermione fell to the floor.
