When we read the premise of this book, we were a little bit nervous. Voldemort was coming for Harry, and he wasn't just bringing a physical fight, he was waging a battle within Harry's mind.

"After the Dementors’ attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry knows he is about to become Voldemort’s next target.
Although many are denying the Dark Lord’s return, Harry is not alone, and a secret order is gathering at Grimmauld Place to fight against the Dark forces.
Meanwhile, Voldemort’s savage assaults on Harry’s mind are growing stronger every day.
He must allow Professor Snape to teach him to protect himself before he runs out of time

What was your favorite part of Order of the Phoenix? Let's talk about it, here.

Order of the Phoenix was actually my least favorite book of all seven. I think it was evident that it was written for the screen more than it was written to read.

With that being said, it's still a wonderful read and is a fitting continuation of Goblet of Fire's dark theme.

Luna is my favorite likable character that is introduced in this book, and Umbridge is easily the best not-so-likable character. I thought Umbridge was a genius addition. She is a constant reminder of the corruption and overall pigheadedness of the Ministry. Without her, I'm not sure that theme would have been as evident as it needed to be.
