Many years ago Gwen was a young witch at Hogwarts, rather a bright witch for her age, Sirius Black didn't notice her much, which was his attitude to most woman. In fact if Gwen wasn't in Gyrffindor and had class with him, then the day Gwen saw a great black dog, limping in the rain out side her sisters home, he would have thought her a kind stranger. And if Gwen hadn't stumbled on Sirius when he became the same dog so many years before at school, she might have listened to her sister when she gasp and told her to get that mutt out of her house. Fate can have it's cruel jokes.
