Draco nodded his assent as the amber liquid sloshed in his cup. He glanced up at the clock before flinging the shot down his throat once more; again thanking the pain it caused him. The clock hands told him it was ten minutes to midnight. He was glad he had taken this fifth shot of poison for it was numbing his body and senses. It was this time, just around midnight, almost a year ago that his world crashed down around him.
