A rush of fear swept over Vivian as she paced back and forth with her one month old baby in her arms. Never before had she been so scared and it was taking a toll on her nerves. She looked down at her daughter and felt tears sting her eyes as she gently caressed her daughter’s cheek. The next thing she knew she could hear the bedroom door open. She looked up and saw her husband enter the room shutting the door behind him.
"Tom what is it" Vivian questioned as she walked over to her husband. She gasped when noticed that he had a cut above his eye.
"You have to get Mya out of here now...They'll stop at nothing to take her" Tom responded as he pulled his wife into his arms. Vivian closed her eyes and held her daughter closer to her chest. She was about to respond when the door suddenly flung open. She looked up and gasped when she saw two cloaked figures standing there.
"Give us the child" A man ordered and Vivian backed away as her entire body began trembling.
"No I will not let you take my baby" Vivian responded as the man aimed his wand at her.
"Yes I will" The man stated and he prepared to fire an unforgivable curse at the woman.
Hermione jerked awake and panted heavily as her heart started pounding rapidly within her chest. She ran her fingers through her hair and sat up pulling her knees to her chest. She'd been having the same dream for a month now and she didn't understand why. Millions of thoughts raced through her mind as her whole body started trembling. She hadn't told anyone about her dreams and she couldn't help but wonder if they were supposed to mean anything. She took a deep breath and tried to get her heart rate under control. Suddenly a wave of dizziness washed over her and the darkness engulfed her. When Hermione finally woke up she looked over at the clock and saw that it was 3:00 in the afternoon. She sat up and ran her fingers through her hair as she got out of bed. She walked into her bathroom and rubbed her eyes as she tried to get more awake. Hermione then looked in the mirror and stumbled back as a wave of shock washed over her. Staring back at her was a beautiful young woman with long jet black luscious curls, acid green eyes, and creamy pale skin. She also noticed that her breasts had grown bigger, her hips had slendered out, and she had grown taller. Her heart started pounding rapidly within her chest as a rush of fear washed through her veins. Hermione didn't understand what was happening to her and she didn't know how she was going to explain to the others why she suddenly looked different. Tears stung her eyes and her whole body began trembling. The next thing she knew she could hear a knock at her bedroom door.
“Hermione dear can you come down…Lunch is ready” Molly asked and Hermione took a deep breath as her heart started pounding even more rapidly. She closed her eyes and clenched her fists in an effort to calm down. She walked out of her bathroom and walked over to her closet. Hermione grabbed a pair of black hip hugging pants and an emerald green halter-top. She walked over to her dresser and grabbed a pair of black lacy undergarments. She then walked into the bathroom and sat her clothes on the counter. Hermione stripped her pajamas off and hopped into the shower. She turned the hot water on and closed her eyes as the water fell across her back. After she finished taking a shower she got dressed and looked at herself in the mirror. She’d been staying at Number 12 Grimmauld place ever since she obliviated her parents memories and sent them to Australia. She hadn't wanted them to get hurt and she was glad that they were out of harms way, but she missed them greatly whenever she was alone. Hermione took a deep breath and cast a drying spell on her hair before walking out of her bathroom. She walked over to her closet and grabbed a pair of black high heeled sandals. She pulled the high heeled sandals onto her feet and grabbed her cloak. Hermione pulled the cloak on and pulled her hood on before exiting her room. She walked downstairs and made her way towards the kitchen. She was about to walk into the kitchen when she suddenly heard hushed voices on the other side of the door. Hermione put her ear to the door and began listening quietly unaware of the fact that Snape had just entered the house.
“What are we going to do…With her birthday approaching she’s going to find out and what about Harry…Remus will be arriving with him in an hour” Arthur whispered and Dumbledore sighed as he looked around at all of the order members.
“We will do nothing…She can’t be allowed to find out that she is the daughter of Voldemort and neither can Harry…We don’t need anything distracting him from his destiny” Dumbledore responded quietly and Hermione felt her eyes widened as she slowly backed away from the door. She shook her head and her hands began trembling as her breath became labored due to panic. She turned away from the door and ran back upstairs to her room unaware of the fact that Snape was following her. Hermione slammed her door shut and leaned against it as the tears began to fall from her eyes. She didn’t understand how those whom she had trusted with her life had lied to her for the past 6 years. She had unknowingly been fighting against her father since she was 11 years old and they still kept the truth from her. Hermione took a deep breath and walked over to her closet. She pulled her trunk out and packed her things with a wave of her wand. Once all of her belongings were packed into her trunk she shrunk her trunk and put it into her purse. The next thing she knew there was a knock on the bedroom door.
“Hermione mom said to come down for lunch” Ginny stated and Hermione closed her eyes as the tears continued to fall. She jerked the door open and ran past her friend as a wave of emptiness washed over her. She ran down the stairs and out the front door ignoring the fact that Ginny was following her. Hermione jumped off the porch and took off running as fast as she could. She didn’t stop running until she was out of view of the house.
Voldemort stood within the trees watching the seemingly empty plot of land as a tear fell from his eyes. He didn’t know why he was drawn to it but he knew he had to find out. He was about to go back to Malfoy Manor when he suddenly saw a cloaked figure run onto the street from the seemingly empty plot of land. Voldemort then watched as Snape appriated soon after and began following her silently. A wave of confusion washed over him as he began following them after casting an invisibility spell on himself.
A wave of confusion washed over Voldemort washed over him as he watched the young woman disappariate. He was about to disappariate when he suddenly felt a presence beside him. He looked over and saw Snape standing beside him.
“Who is that young woman Severus” Voldemort question and Snape crossed his arms as he looked at his master.
“It’s Miss Granger my lord…Apparently she found out something that she didn’t like…I don’t think she’ll be going back any time soon” Snape responded and Voldemort became even more confused as he looked back at the spot where the young woman had been standing.
“What would happen that would make the Order’s golden girl run away” Voldemort questioned and Snape shook his head as he ran his fingers through his hair.
“I’m not sure my lord…Should I follow after her” Snape asked and Voldemort shook his head as he looked back at the man.
“No I will…Go back to the others and tell them not to expect me back tonight” Voldemort responded and Snape nodded as he disappariated. Voldemort sighed and cast a locater spell so that he could follow the young woman.
Hermione landed in the middle of a forest and pulled a tent out of her purse. She placed it on the ground and erected it with a flick of her wrist. She then walked around it placing the necessary charms to keep unwanted visitors from seeing it. Hermione was unaware of the fact that her father was watching her quietly from the shadows. She took a deep breath and entered the tent with millions of thoughts racing through her mind. She laid down on one of the beds and curled up as she cried herself to sleep. Later that night Hermione woke up to the sound of rain hitting the tent. She sighed and sat up pulling her knees to her chest. Millions of thoughts traipsed through her mind and she once again found herself unable to concentrate. Hermione sighed and eased herself out of bed. She walked over to the table and sat down pulling her knees to her chest. She didn’t understand how her life had become messed up with just a few simple words. Hermione took a deep breath and rested her chin on her knees. She knew that Harry and Ron would be starting their hunt for the Horcruxes and she couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if they found them all. Hermione rose to her feet and walked over to her floor length mirror. Staring back at her was someone she didn’t recognize and it scared her. After several minutes of staring at herself she came to the decision that if she ever wanted to know her father she’d have to find the Horcruxes herself and destroy them so that her father would become the man he had been before he became evil. Hermione walked out of the tent and packed it up with a flick of her wrist. She then put it back into her purse and disappariated unaware of the fact that her father had seen her.
