"You're really going to talk to her?" Ron asked the next day.

"Yes." I said. "Why do you keep asking that?"

"Because maybe it's not the best idea." He said.

I rolled my eyes and reasoned with him for a moment. "And why not?"

"This could backfire." Ron said.

"Babe, come on." Pansy stepped in. "Jolina needs to fight for her guy. If it was me and some slut tried to take you away from me, I would have gotten rid of her a long time ago."

Ron smiled. "Really baby?" He asked.

"Of course." Pansy said sweetly. "You're mine and no one else's."

"Oh, honey, I love you." Ron said kissing her. That went on for a good two minutes. Blaise and I exchanged disgusted looks.

"Is that what it looks like with me and Draco?" I asked.

"Yep." Blaise said.

"I'm so sorry." I said. "Okay, guys can we focus on the issue at hand which is not you two snogging eachother into oblivion."

Pansy and Ron stopped being disgusting finally. "So, I'm going to talk to Tara. Hopefully that will get the message through to her that Draco is mine and I am not to be messed with. Sound good!"

"Sounds perfect, Lina." Ron said. "And try your best to make her stay away permanently. I'm so tired of her."

"You're tired of her? She's not trying to steal your boyfriend." I said.

"Mainly because I don't have a boyfriend." Ron said.

"Are you trying to say something Jolina?" Pansy asked laughing.

"Of course not." I giggled. "I was just trying to make Ron see it from my point of view."

"When are you going to talk to her?" Blaise asked.

"During break I think." I answered.

"How is that going to work?" Pansy asked. "Won't Draco be expecting his daily shag then?"

I groaned. "I forgot about that. Hmm...well I guess we could make love during lunch."

"But that doesn't give you very long. You guys like to do that whole cuddling thing afterwards and you can't do that and eat lunch." Blaise pointed out.

"You're right." I said. "I mean but what if we did a quickie?" I asked.

"You know Draco doesn't like quickies when he knows he's got time." Pansy said.

"Okay how about this. I tell Draco to meet me later during the break and go have sex with him after I've talked to Tara?" I asked.

"Yeah, but what if this talk with Tara takes longer than you think?" Ron asked. "Then you'll owe Draco double the sex."

"That's true, I will." I said. "But I can't just cancel the sex all together, he'll know something is up. Not to mention it's impossible to turn down sex with Draco."

"Yeah it is." Pansy agreed. Ron and I raised our eyebrows at her. "I mean it was. I love you Ron."

I shook my head and tried to think. "What if we didn't have sex during break, but then we skived off Potions and had sex then? Do you think that would work?"

"I think so." Blaise said.

"Alright perfect. Now remember this conversation never happened." I said.

"Yeah, we won't tell Draco." Ron said.

"Tell Draco what?" Draco asked approaching us.

"Umm, Jolina has a sex surprise for you." Blaise said.

We all gaped at him. That was what came to mind when thinking of a lie?!

"Does she now?" Draco asked grinning seductively at me as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Mmhmm." I answered.

"What might it be?" He whispered.

"It's a surprise." I said, thinking quickly.

"Will I be seeing this surprise during break?" He asked, his hands moving around my hips.

I shook my head, grinning.

"No?" He pouted.

"I was thinking we could skive off Potions and make love then instead. We haven't done that in awhile." I raised my eyebrows.

"That sounds fantastic." He said as he kissed me hungrily.

"Um eww." Pansy said.

I pulled away from Draco for a moment. "You have no right to judge after what I just witnessed happen between you and Ron." I went back to kissing Draco.
--

Finding Tara was easier than I thought it would. She was just walking around like a loner. The others had promised to keep Draco occupied all of break so she wouldn't go anywhere near him.

"Tara." I said walking up.

"Hi Jolina." She said smiling. I rolled my eyes.

"You can cut the crap, Draco isn't here you know." I said.

The smile slid off her face. "What do you want?" She asks bluntly.

"I'm so glad you asked. I want you to stay away from my boyfriend." I said.

"No." She said smiling evilly.

"Excuse me? No? See that's just not gonna work with me." I said glaring at her.

"Ahh, too bad, I'm not staying away." She said.

"Are fucking kidding me?!" I asked. "He's my boyfriend so stay the hell away from him."

"Why should I?" She challenged.

"Because he's with me and doesn't want you." I said.

"Who says I want him?" She asked innocently. "Didn't he tell you I like Blaise?"

"Yes, he did, but I'm not as nave as him to actually believe your stupid lie." I said.

"That's too bad I was hoping you'd believe it and stop being such a bitch to me." She said mockingly.

"You think I was being a bitch then? No, I was warming up, you have yet to see me in full bitch mode, and you don't want to see it."

"I really don't want to see you at all." Tara said.

"Well, the feeling is mutual hun." I smiled sarcastically. "And guess what? If you stayed away from Draco, you wouldn't have to see me. Now there's a thought."

"Oh well don't you think you're so clever." She said.

"No. I think Draco is my boyfriend and not yours so you can keep your filthy hands off of him." I said.

"You're really threatened by me aren't you?" Tara smirked.

"No." I said. "I'm just not stupid enough to underestimate the power of a slut. I would know. Remember, I used to be one?"

"You still are."

"Look, Tara, I'm not asking anymore, I'm telling. I want you to stay away from Draco." I said dangerously.

"Do I look like I care what you want?" She asked.

"No, but you sure as hell look like someone who's about to get punched in the face." I answered.

"You wouldn't. Because then I'd have to tell Draco and he'd be mad at you for hitting me for no apparent reason." She said mockingly.

She had a good point. I stepped closer to her and she flinched just a little bit. It made me wish I had hit her. "This isn't over Tara. I suggest you take my advice and stay away. I will crush you, little girl." I said quietly.

"You're right, this isn't over. Bring it on bitch." She said.

"You've been warned." I said. "Don't be surprised when I come after your arse." I bumped her hard as I walked away.

"Dumb slut." She muttered.

"I heard that you stupid bitch." I called over my shoulder.
--

"So how did it go?" Pansy asked the next day when I was finally out of the company of Draco.

I sighed. "It was like talking to a brick wall. Nothing was getting through to her."

Pansy groaned. "Ugh! That girl is relentless!"

"I know, but I think I at least scared her a little bit. That should keep her at bay for like two days I'm guessing." I said.

"Two days isn't enough. But two years, now that would be amazing." She sighed

"Yeah, well looks like we'll have to deal with this some other way." I said.
--

As the weeks passed things changed. And not for the good either. Tara was around more and Draco seemed distracted whenever we were alone. He never wanted to talk anymore, but he was more than happy to have deep conversations with Tara.

I was getting scared, she was winning. I hadn't thought it could be possible for her to win at all, but I was starting to doubt myself.

I started feeling like mine and Draco's relationship was merely based on sex. That's basically all we did. And afterwards we wouldn't cuddle and talk like we used to, Draco would just start getting dressed immediately. Things just weren't the same anymore. But I was determined to get them back to the way they used to be.
--

I waited and waited and waited.

Two hours to be exact. Two hours for Draco to show up. He said we would meet at 7 and it was currently 9. I didn't ask myself where he could be, because all these different scenarios of him being with Tara would pop up in my head, and I just couldn't deal with that.

Finally at 9:15, Draco waltzes in deciding to grace me with his presence. I gave him a quick look over. Clothes in place, hair neatly done as always, no hickeys in sight. He was in the clear for that at least.

"Hey babe." He said leaning down to kiss me. When I didn't back, he pulled away confused. "Something wrong?"

"You were supposed to be here two hours ago." I said blankly.

"I know, I just lost track of time, Jo." He said.

"You lost track of time for two hours?" I asked.

"Yeah, see me and Tara-" I had shut him out the moment I heard that. 'Me and Tara' he had said. He was grouping them together.

"Oh, you were with Tara. That explains it all." I said getting up and throwing the covers on the bed back and climbing under them, my back facing him.

"Jo, baby, are you mad at me?" He asked.

"Nope." I said even though it was completely obvious that I was.

"Yes you are." Draco said. "Can you just admit it?"

I sat up and turned to face him. "Yes, Draco, I am mad. Because you stood me up." I said.

"I didn't stand you up." He said.

"You left me waiting for two hours, Draco!" I exclaimed. "If I would've known you were going to do that, I would found a different way to spend my night."

"What with some other guy? He asked bitterly.

"Excuse me?" I asked. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing." He mumbled.

"You think I'm interested in some other guy?" I asked. He didn't answer, so that meant yes. "You've got to be kidding me. There no other guy I'm interested in."

Draco looked at me. "Really?"

"Yes really. You're so stupid, I'm in love with you, not anyone else." I said.

He sighed. "Well don't I feel like an idiot." He said.

"Wait is that the reason things have been so off between us lately?" I asked. "Is this why you've been treating me so horribly?"

He groaned. "Yes. Oh now I feel like such a prick. I can't believe I didn't trust you." He hugged me tightly. "I'm sorry, please forgive me."

"Why on Earth did you think I was cheathing on you?" I asked.

"Well you were acting diffently, and I thought things over with Tara and we kinda came to that conclusion."

Tara. Why am I not surprised she's behind this?

"Well, wrong conclusion." I said. "Draco, I thought...I thought you didn't love me anymore."

"Jo, love I told you, I will never stop loving you, okay? No matter what happens, you'll always be the one, yeah?"

"Yeah." I said smiling.

"I'm sorry for being a git about this. I should have talked to you. Forgive me?" He asked quietly.

"Of course." I said.

He grinned. "Now, let's see. We've just had a fight and then we made up. I think there is some make up sex in order, don't you think?"

I grinned back. "Why yes, I do think."

Tara had almost broken us apart, and she failed. That just goes to show she will never come between us.

A/N: Hi. Sorry I took so long to update. First week of college is rather hectic. So what did you think? I loved writing the beginning of this chapter, so much fun! What did you think of the talk between Jo and Tara? Isn't Tara so unreasonable? What about Tara making Draco believe Jo was cheating? In the next chapter things go from bad to worse...thanks for reading! :D
