(A/N) I decided to to do much more of the dark mark thing this chapter but it was important for the plot that that bit was in there ;)
'James go to bed' Mum said shoving me back in to the house looking fierce 'set up some beds for your friends too' she ordered shoving me and Ally in to the house where our very drunk friends where stumbling around.
'Bed' Ordered Mum before slamming our door and through the window I could see her and Dad running over to Uncle Ron and Aunt Mione's.
'What do you think this means James?' Ally asked me, ignoring the rest of our friends.
'Only bad things' I replied grabbing her hand and squeezing it.

The rest of the week I wasn't allowed out the house except to go to family member's houses (Plus Ally's) it was really strange and tensions where running high and it wasn't just my lot, Frankie and Ally's parents, Dom's and Freddy's where all being weird too.

'JAMES SIRIUS POTTER GET YOUR ARSE OUT OF BED RIGHT NOW OR YOU'LL MISS THE TRAIN!' Ally yelled jumping on my bed.
'Ally?' I asked drowsily looking at her to find her wearing the Holyhead Harpies jersey Mum and Dad got her and some shorts and the Snitch necklace Lils got her (And the Charm bracelet I got her that she NEVER seems takes off! Score one to James Potter!)
'What the hell are you doing here' I shouted rubbing my eyes.
'Your parents are giving me and Frankie a ride' She said still bouncing.
'Urg fine I'm up!' I said staggering out of bed over to my bathroom.
'Good' She smirked walking out of the room and back down the stairs.
Ally's pov.
'Ally have you had breakfast?' Ginny asked standing at the stove.
'No' I answered sliding in to a seat at the table next to Albus and opposite Frankie.
'What do you want?' She asked turning up the frying pan.
'Just eggs please' I smiled and she levitated a large plate of them in front of me.
'So Miss Alice Longbottom' She said picking up her microphone but not turning it on (I had done the interview with her the other day) 'How does it feel to be Hogwarts' newest Head Girl?' She grinned looking just like just like James when he grinned.
'Simply spiffing' I said mimicking Percy's annoying voice.
'Well listeners you heard it first from here, The Princess of Mars is the new head Girl' She said winking at me and walking back over to the stove.
'Ah you heard about that did you?' I laughed.
'Yep I got a long snotty letter of Perce about it I'm sure he'll go off in a rant at Sunday dinner as well' She sighed 'He sounded like he was being a bit of a prat though darling so I don't blame you'
'Isn't he always a bit of a prat' Said Lily with her mouth full.
'Now, now Lily only 90% of the time' She laughed.
'Hello dearest Family, Goddaughter and Frankie' Harry said walking in and winking at Frankie.
'Bacon?' Ginny asked flipping the contents of the pan.
'Yes please!' Said Harry kissing her before taking a seat at the table.
'Is your Dad already at Hogwarts then?' He asked me and Frankie.
'Yeah' Answered Frankie.
'He left last Tuesday to get the plants ready for the Students' I said repositioning Mindy at the table.
'I remember when your Dad's one went off all over me, him and Luna' he said laughing at the memory
'Mindy's the baby of that one' I smiled.
'I know' Said Harry chuckling 'I remember when you first got her and you ran all the way here in the rain to show me, you must of been about five!'
'And James hid from it under the table' Laughed Ginny
'Hey!' Said James walking in to the kitchen. 'It's scary!' He said and I hugged Mindy to protect her from his words.
'Finally he awakes' Said Ginny handing him a plate of food and rolling her eyes.
'Eat quickly' She ordered him 'We're leaving in five minutes'
'Ally' Said Lily 'Do your faces like you normally do' She asked and I morphed my face from a duck bill to a pig snout and then a large crooked nose before making my hair in to a mohawk.
'You remind me of Teddy's Mum when she used to do that' Ginny said smiling fondly.
'Her hair was normally like this wasn't it?' I asked morphing my hair short and pink.
'Yeah' Said Harry as I put it back to my normal hairstyle. 'Great woman I miss her a lot' He said sadly.
'I think I would of liked her a lot' I said thinking about a world where me and Ted would of had some one else to do Hair Wars with.
'You two would of got on like a house of fire!' Ginny said smiling. 'OK lets get your trunks in the car' She said seeing James had finished.
I stood up at the table and waited outside because mine and Frankie's trunks had already been put in the car.
A minute or two later we where all in the car speeding towards Platform 9 3/4 (Ginny was driving and she was a crazy driver)
'God Mum slow do where all going to die!' James shouted.
'Maybe it would be a good idea to slow down Gin' Harry said gripping the car door like his life depended on it.
'No we'll be late!' She said speeding up (We where twenty minutes early when we arrived.)
'See Mum we're not late' James said running across the barrier with his trolly.
'Because of my driving!' She said running across with Lily
'Go on Ally' Harry said shooing me through the barrier.
I charge towards it and appeared on the platform where James, Ginny and Lily where waiting with Ron and Hermione.
'Hey up Ally' Said Ron giving me a big smile.
'Hey' I said smiling back.
'You better win the Quidditch Cup this year!' He said.
'Oh we will' Said James appearing from behind me.
'But concentrate on your studies as well! Newt year is a big deal!' Aunt Hermione said.
'Dad never finished' James said rolling his eyes.
'Tell you what James' Ginny said 'Take down the Dark Lord and you can quit School' She laughed.
'Speaking of the Dark Lord where is Uncle Percy today?' James laughed.
'I'm here thank you very much James' Percy scowled appearing out of the crown 'Princess' He said bowing to me before walking off.
'Princess?' Ron said raising his eyebrows at me.
'Percy is under the impression Ally is the Princess of Mars' Harry said laughing.
'Git' Ron said under his breath laughing.
'Well Princess Ally of Mars' James said as I rolled my eyes. 'Let us go and show the good two shoes prefects how to prank'
'I'm a prefect' Rose said rolling her eyes.
'As am I' Said Al.
'Exactly.' James said laughing before saying goodbye to his parents and pulling me on to the train, stopping to put our trunks in the compartment where all of the NMs where sitting before pulling me in to the head's compartment.
'So darling Alice we're finally alone' He said wriggling his eyebrows.
'Don't call me Alice' I said rolling my eyes.
'Aw why not?' He said doing a stupid pout.
'Because I don't like the name Alice' I said
'I dooo' He said pouting again.
'Well I don't' I snapped
'Well I do Alice'
'I DON'T!' I screamed just as all the prefects walked in.
'You made her mad already?' Albus said laughing at James.
'Shut it Al' James said as the prefects started to sit down.
'Hello Goody Two shoes prefects!' James shouted and I rolled my eyes. 'I am James Potter, your sexy Head Boy for the year and this is Alice-'
'Ally' I interrupted.
'-Alice Longbottom who is your Head Girl and the best damn seeker on the planet who loves to be called Alice'
'I DO NOT!' I shouted.
'She does really' James said winking at the prefects.
'ANYWAY' I said loudly 'Here are the patrolling schedules' I said handing them around 'As usual you can dock points but if you do it for no good reason I will bring you up on report I'm thinking we should throw a ball at Valentines but I'll talk to you about that at our next meeting you are dismissed' I finished watching them leave.
'Wow Alls!' James said 'And you where worried about being head girl!'
'Yeah well I realised I was the smart one' I said laughing.
'Hey I resent that!' James said laughing with me.
James' pov.
'Well I am' laughed Ally.
'Well I'm the sexy one' I said.
'I'm pretty hot' She said.
'Not as hot as me' I said.
'Yeah I am!' She said rolling her eyes.
'Alright you may be on the same level as me' I said hugging her.
'You're stupid' She said hugging back.
'I know!' I said picking her up and flinging her over my shoulder, ignoring her kicking and screaming and carrying her back to the NM's compartment.
'Good meeting then?' Freddy said laughing looking at the two of us carefully placing another card on his tower of exploding snap cards he was building
'Amazing' Said Ally kicking me.
'Are you ever going to put her down?' Asked Dom from where she was sitting on Frankie's lap.
'Nope' I said sitting down and pulling her on to my lap and wrapping my arms around her waist so she couldn't get off.
'Where's Avery?' Ally asked
'Hooking up with her Ravenclaw boyfriend in the bathroom' Freddy said placing another card on the top of the pile.
'Of course' Ally said rolling her eyes.
'Anything from the Trolly dears?' The ancient Trolly Lady asked.
'As I can't move no' Ally said.
'Fours packets of Droobles, Eight Chocolate Frogs and two packs of Bertie Botts for the Lady' I said holding on to Ally with one arm and paying her with the other.
'Thanks' Ally said digging in to the Bertie Botts, they where her favourite food after Chocolate cake and Potato Waffles.
'So you've got the start of school prank sorted yeah?' I asked her.
'Yep' She smirked 'and I got your house elf to take it to Hogwarts and get it in the Slytherin's cups'
'We'd better tell Scorp not to drink any or Rose will kill us and she's scary!' Freddy laughed.
'Will do' Said Ally relaxing back in to her seat smirking.

'Is it time to set them off yet?' I whispered to her.
'Wait until the end of the speech' She whispered back as McGonagal droned on.
'And thus starts a new year at Hogwarts!' McGonagal said finishing her speech
'OK now' Whispered Ally to me and I non verbally activated the potion that all the Slytherins had been drinking (Bar Scorp who had been warned) and there was a loud pop before they all started growing dark green scales.
'Who did this?' McGonagal yelled at the top of her lungs 'obviously it was a friend of Mr Malfoy here, come on some one needs to own up!'
Silence.
'I will be investigating this! Every one out! Slytherins to the hospital wing, Miss Longbottom and Mr Potter to me' She shouted.
'Shit' Said Ally to me, getting up from the table and slowly making her way through the croud up to McGonagal.
'I really hope you two had nothing to do with that' she warned us looking strict before she smiled weekly and said 'You know there hasn't been two Gryffindor heads at the same time since James Potter and Lily Evans!'
'You said' Ally smiled looking innocent.
'I'll show you to your Dorms then.' She said leading us out of the Great Hall and up through the Gryffindor common room where the painting of my Mum, Dad, Uncle Ron, Auntie Mione and Ally's Dad swung out of the way and revealed a small flight of stairs which lead up in to a tower with four equally sized doors (Probably leading to the other common rooms) and with a big door that was open to reveal a massive bathroom with a bath the size of the swimming room, there was also two stair cases winding up each side of the tower probably to our rooms.
'Because you are both Gryffindors the walls have been painted red' She said signalling around to the cosy red room.
'Miss Longbottom's room is up the right hand stair case and yours Mr Potter is up the left hand, I'll leave you to settle in.' She said leaving the room leaving just me and Ally in it.
'Wow' Murmered Ally looking around.
'Yeah' I said walking up the stair case to find my room had moving Quidditch wall paper in it along with a black board to work on tactics on and a massive four poster even bigger than the one I had, had in the Gryffindor Dorms, I then walked down the stairs and up the stair case to Ally's room which had fake plant vines all over it and a circular wooden bed with a canopy covered in fake flowers and vines hanging over it.
'It's really nice isn't it!' Said Ally looking ecstatic.
'Yeah' I said eyeing Mindy whom she had placed on her bed side table.
'Come on we've got patrols to do' She said dragging me out of the dorm, down the stairs and through a trap door in the living room which had a ladder that seemed to do down to behind a portrait of Godric Gryffindor in the entrance hall.
'Let's just nip down to the Green Houses so I can see Dad' She said pulling me outside and over to the biggest green house where Professor L seemed to be mixing up some plant food.
'Hi Daddy!' She said running over and hugging him.
'How's my Head Girl?' He said hugging her back.
'I'm good' She smiled at him 'I'm just on a patrol with James' She said pointing over to me.
'Oh hello James' Professor L said waving 'You best be going then' He said to Ally realising her from the hug and turning back to the plant food.
'Bye Daddy!' She yelled after him pulling me back in to the school.
'So I was thinking that we could have a Valentines day ball and we could get The Veela's to come and preform!' She said looking excited.
'Sure Alls' I said thinking more about the Quidditch team for the year, I needed two more chasers and keeper to have a full team and it was going to be quite a challenge.
'You're not listening you've got your Quidditch face on!' She exclaimed.
'My Quidditch face?' I asked.
'Well I guess it's more of a serious thinking face but most of your serious thinking is about Quidditch!' She laughed.
'I guess it is' I laughed.
'Hey Alls what if instead of patrolling we sat in our dorm and just looked at the Marauder's map for anyone sneaking around!'
'OK good idea' She said walking back in to the entrance hall and past the portrait of Godric Gryffindor and up the ladder where I followed her up (I swear I wasn't looking at her arse at all!)
'Ah look' I said walking over to where I had left the map in the dorm, 'Frankie and Dom are in a broom closet' I said pointing to where their dots where on the map.

Ally's pov.
Beep beep. Beep beep. Beep beep.
Went my alarm clock.
Swinging myself out of bed I grabbed my uniform and stumbled down stairs to the bathroom and quickly showered and got dressed morphing my hair back from it's rainbow it always is when I wake up.
'Morning' James said darting in to the bathroom as I left it before returning to my room to slap on some mascara, feed Mindy and gather all my books (I wasn't going to take the chance of leaving books I needed just because I didn't have my timetable yet).
'Hurry up James!' I yelled from the living room and he ran out of his bed room his black hair as messy as normal.
'Lets a go go' He said swinging his bag over his shoulder and walking through the door which lead in to the Gryffindor common room where the NMs where waiting.
'Hello respected Heads' Dom laughed.
'Princess' Said Freddy curtseying (yes curtseying) to Ally.
'Thank you kind peasant' Ally said pretending to pick up a sword 'I knight thee Sir Fredrick of Earth' She said raising her invisible sword and "Touching" both his shoulders with it.
'Oh thank you kind Miss!' He said throwing himself at her feet.
'OK are we going to go to breakfast anytime today?' I laughed.
'Yes! Let's go!' Said Ally racing me out bounding down the stairs three at a time and stopping to a skid at the entrance hall.
'Mature Ally, real mature' I said sticking my tongue out at her.
'Whateves' She said making a W with her fingers and going to sit down.
'Look' Said Frankie sitting down and looking at the Prophet, 'Ally's interview with James' Mum is in here' He said passing it to Ally who read it out loud in a voice scarily like Mum's.
'Alice Longbottom has just been named as the number one young Quidditch talent to watch so I spoke to the young lady herself to find out how she felt about that achievement.
"I couldn't of done it with out my trust captain and general nuisance James Potter" Said Miss Longbottom "Or the amazing beater team of Dom and Fred Weasley who have kept many a bludger off me"'
'My baby's growing up' Said Freddy wiping away a fake tear.
'Shut up' Said Ally elbowing Freddy and loading her mouth full of pancake.
'And there's the graceful Ally we all know and love!' I said laughing as Proffersor L came and handed out our schedules.
'Alice not so much you'll choke' He said handing her a timetable.
'I wont I'm used to it' She said shoving another massive fork full in her mouth.
'Mmm' Said Proffesor L 'Frankie, Dom not at the table' He said making them stop snogging 'sorry' they both mumbled, Frankie looking very pink.
'What have you got Alls?' I said looking at her time table - double potions, double herbolgy then a she had a free lesson.
'Ah damn it' I said 'I've got the same as you but with divination last!'
'Tough luck' She said laughing 'What have you all got?' she asked them; Freddy had exactly the same as me while Avery, Dom and Frankie had the same as Ally.
'Come on then we better get a move on towards the dungons' She said getting up from the table, docking five points from a boy who was trying to mix Firewhisky in with the First Year's pumpkin juice.

'This year' Professor Thorn said pulling up his sleeves 'You will be bruing the most difficult potions you have ever made.'
'Some of you will pass this Newt' He said his eyes flickering to Ally 'And other's will fail' he said looking at me and Freddy.
'Get in to pairs and turn to page five of your text books, supplies are in the cupboard.' He said strolling around the class.
'Freddy!' I said Bro-Hugging him 'Partners?'
'You bet cuz' He Hi-Fived me.
'Avery?' Asked Ally and Avery nodded in reply while Frankie and Dom just moved closer to each other with out saying a word.
'Hair growth potion' Said Ally reading from the book 'Looks easy enough' she said ordering Avery to get the ingredients while she set up the cauldron.
'Freddy?' I asked him grinning 'Fancy a bit of an experiment?'
'Hmm what kind?' He asked his grin matching my own.
'How about the kind where we use half the ingredients from this page' I said pointing to page five 'and half from this page' I said pointing to page six.
'And if any one asks we where gravely confused' Laughed Freddy going to fetch the ingredients.
'If some one dies after you do this I'm not responsible' Said Ally turning up the heat on her Cauldron.
'You worry too much' I said rolling my eyes.
'No in fact I just know which two potions you are trying to mix' She said as Avery returned and she got started.
'Ah pish posh, details details.' Freddy said getting back to the table.
'You two are stupid' Dom said from where she was fiddling with the heat underneath the cauldron.
'Thank you dearest cousin' I said chucking in a handful of ingredients not bothering to check the amounts.
'No James' Said Freddy 'I think we need some more of this' he said chucking another random handful of stuff in to the cauldron.
'If we don't get an outstanding in this newt' I laughed just as Dom and Frankie's cauldron started melting.
'Frankie!' Dom yelled using her wand to stop the liquid going everywhere.
'Thanks' Murmured Frankie running to find Professor Thorn to clear it up.
'Well done my first melted cauldron of the year' He said mopping up the mess 'Minus two points to Gryffindor' he said walking over to where Melanie McLaggen's potion had exploded all over her and she was subsequently getting very very hairy.
'Sorry' Frankie murmured.
'Just don't try and kill me every potions lesson' Dom said squeezing his hand reassuringly.
I stirred the potion a few more times and put in a few more random ingredients keeping on of my eyes on the amazing potions team of Avery and Ally as they effortlessly worked in sink, stirring and adding ingredients.
'Merlin' Said Freddy following my gaze to look at Ally and Avery, 'just make the rest of of look stupid then' he shouted at them but they ignored him and kept working.
'Ignore me then I don't care!' He shouted getting himself a dirty look of Professor Thorn who was trying to remove Melanie's excess hair but no such luck.
'Give it up Freddy' I said chucking some Porcupine Quills in to the mix in cauldron.
'Fine' huffed Freddy turning back to our cauldron, the liquid in it was turning a dark sludgy grey a far cry from the orange it was meant to be.
'Well done' Ally said sarcastically looking in to our cauldron standing next to hers which was a bright shade of orange.
'I really think it's a master piece' I said standing up straight.
'Yeah well hope sir doesn't make you taste it, it's a mix of the hair growth potion we where meant to be doing and vomiting potion' She rolled her eyes.
'My favourite' Freddy said snidely.
'Good well I suppose you'd like to drink that monstrosity then?' Professor T said appearing out of no where. 'Good work Miss Longbottom and Miss Jones five points to Gryffindor'
'Woo' Said Avery Hi-Fiving Ally.
'I don't think I will drink this Sir' Said Freddy 'I'm planning a big lunch'
'Is that so Mr Wealsey?'
'Yep it's fish and chips day in the canteen' Said Freddy as the bell rung.
'Just go Mr Wealsey' The Professor said as we quickly legged it out of the dungeon.
'To Herbolgy!' shouted Ally galloping like a horse out to the Greenhouses.
'Daddy!' Ally said walking in even though Professor L had banned her from calling him that during classes.
'Alice sit down!' Professor L ordered but you could see by his face he was having a hard time saying it.
'Okay DADDY' She said taking a seat and we all followed her lead crowding around our normal round table.
'This year' Professor L started when the class had all walked in 'you will be working with the most dangerous plants at Hogwarts'
'God' Whispered Aves 'It's like they gave them lines with insert-you-subject-here'
'They probably did' Snorted Dom.
'Shh' Said Ally fixing her eyes on her Dad
'Oh come of it Ally' Said Dom 'We all know you're going to get an O in this class wheather you listen or not'
'OK so the Mandrakes are over there but no one pick them up until you all have your ear phones on' Nevillywevilly said. (Yep I just called him that deal with it.)
'What are we doing then?' I asked Ally who was just getting out of her chair 'Re- potting Mandrakes' She said rolling her eyes.
'Didn't we do that in Second Year?' Asked Freddy appering beside me.
'That was baby Mandrakes, this is fully grown Mandrakes' She said shoving a pair of ear muffs on her ears, placing her dragon hide gloves on her hand and going over to get one of the Mandrakes as we all hurried to put on ear muffs before she returned with the ugly wrinkly plant.
'Aww look how cute it is' She cooed (I read her lips I couldn't actually hear her) pulling it out of the pot and placing it in another one quickly before smoothing a layer of dirt over it's roots carefully before kissing it on it's head,(I kid not) picking up the pot and rocking it back and fourth in her arms until it stopped screaming.
'Crazy' I mouthed to Freddy twirling my fingers about by my head.
'Yeah' Freddy mouthed back as she continued to rock the plant.
Professor L came up to our table and gave up a thumbs up and held up both his hands twice to signify 20 points to Gryffindor.
'Good work Alls' Dom mouthed to Ally who mouthed a 'thanks' in reply before putting the plant down on the table where I could see it was asleep.
Now just to wait for the next two hours before we can leave. Ally wrote on a spare piece of parchment.

I wonder if Dad will let me go early, Mindy wasn't looking too go this morning. Wrote Ally.
When does that plant ever look good? Freddy wrote being foolish enough to some up my thoughts.
You take that back Fredrick Weasley! Ally said drawing a very graphic picture of Freddy being decapitated.
Turn off the serial killer vibe Alls! Wrote Freddy.
No killing! I have a new blouse on and Freddy's blood will take FOREVER to get off. Dom wrote.
Fine, fine I will not kill Freddy today. Alls wrote and I could see her laughing.
Why am I slightly scared? Wrote Freddy who I could also see laughing.
Because you know Ally to well? Wrote Frankie.

I had just had Divanation and I was walking back in to the Head's Dorm through the Gryffindor common room, stepping in to the Head's Dorm I heard sobbing coming from Ally's room.
'Ally?' I shouted running up to her room, something must be up she never crys!
'Are you ok?' I said bursting in to her room my wand drawn where I found her sat on the floor crying her eyes out clutching a plant and some pictures.
'Alls?' I said putting my arms around her 'What's wrong?' I frowned.
'M-M-Mindy's d-dead' She said crying harder in to my chest.
'Oh...I'm sorry' I said clutching her tightly.
'Look' She said shoving some pictures in to my hand 'They're all I have left of her' she said as I looked of the pictures which where of Mindy at different locations wearing different sunglasses, hats and other accessories.
'Um Alls why is the plant wearing sunglasses?' I asked her.
'It was a very fashion forward plant!' She cried gripping on to me tightly. 'J-James?'
'Yeah Ally?' I said stroking her hair.
'W-will you come to the funeral tonight?'
'Of course Alls' I said feeling a bit stupid.
'T-thanks' She sobbed 'I-is it dinner t-time?'
'Yeah' My stomach rumbled 'are you OK to go or do you want to stay here?'
'I'm s-staying here but can you tell the NMs what's happed and to come to the funeral at seven in Green house two' She sobbed letting do of me.
'I don't want to leave you alone when you're like this' I said hugging her.
'Please James'
'OK' I agreed kissing her on the forehead 'I'll come to the greenhouse after dinner and help you set up.'
'Thank you' she said walking away from me and covering the dead plant in a blanket.
'See you in a little while' I said walking out downstairs and down the hatch in the floor which lead in to the entrace hall where I walked in to the GH over to where the gang was already sat down.
'Um bad news gang' I said sitting down and shovelling food on to my plate. 'Mindy's dead'
'Mindy as in Ally's plant Mindy?' Avery asked.
'Yeah she's pretty beat up about it, she wants us all to go to the funeral at seven in greenhouse three' I informed them, digging in to my food.
'She loved that plant' Frankie sighed looking upset for his sister.
'I know she did but it was mega ugly' I said
'James!' Dom slapped me 'Don't speak ill of the dead!'
'It was a plant Dom!' Said Freddy.
'Yeah but to Ally it was her best friend' Said Frankie 'She even told me it was a few times'
'I thought I was her best friend!' Said Dom pouting.
'Mindy even came in front of her on her list of awesome people' Frankie said.
'That's saying something as that Girl's quite big headed.' I said.
'Look who's talking' Snorted Dom.
'Frankie if you want to break up with that monster I can hold back the Wotter attack you'd yet!' I offered him.
'I'm good thanks' He said cautiously hugging Dom who kissed him full on the mouth.
'Not during dinner!' Freddy yelled shielding his eyes.
'Fine' Dom snapped giving him a dirty look.
'I'm going to go take Alls some dinner' I said grabbing some bread and making her a chip butty before gobbling the rest of my dinner and walking out the Great Hall and heading over to the Green houses where I spotted a very bleary eyed Ally with light blue hair.
'Hey Alls I brought you food' I said walking up to her and handing over the sandwich.
'Thanks' She mumbled taking a small bite out of the sandwich.
'Merlin this has to be bad if you're not eating' I said getting a small smile out of her.
'Mmm' She said taking another small bite.
'Aww c'mere Alls' I said pulling her in to my arms where she started crying again.
'I-I just want Mindy back' She wailed.
'I know Alls but she ain’t coming back, it's ok to cry but it wont help in the long run, will it now?'
'N-nope' She said burying her face in my chest.
'Need any help setting up the rest of the Funeral?' I asked her managing to to laugh about the idea of a plant funeral.
'N-no I'm just need to get out of here until it's time' She said pulling me out of the Greenhouse and back to the Head's Dorm.
'I'm going to get changed' She said running up to her bed room.
I went up to my own room and put on my suit minus the cane and fedora this time though before doing some of my homework. (Hey I can do homework from time to time!)
'James' Ally yelled from the conmen room 'It's time' She said and I walked downstairs to find her in a black dress with heavy black eye liner, black heels and raven coloured hair covered by a black veil.
'Lets go then' I said opening the hatch in the floor, letting her go first so I couldn't see up her dress.
The NMs where waiting down in the Greenhouse as was Professor L, all of them wearing different black outfits.
'T-thanks all for coming' Said Ally walking to the front where there was a small jewelled coffin next to a board filled with the pictures of Mindy she had shown me earlier.
'We are here today to remember Mindy, the best Mimblous Mimbletonina there ever was.
A few weeks before my Fifth birthday Me and Dad where in our Greenhouse and he showed me a little sprout I fell in love with it and Dad remembered giving me her on my Birthday.
I was so excited.
I ran all the way to Harry's in the rain and showed him, James hid under the table' She laughed sadly.
'She came with me to Hogwarts every year, being my rock in plant form, I loved her. She was my best friend and now she's gone but my the memories of her live on for ever.' She said bursting in to tears again, her Dad rushing up to comfort her.
'Shh Ally' He said hugging her tightly as I wished I could be the one in his place, taking her pain away.
'I remember when my Mimblous Mimbletonia died just a few days after you got Mindy.'
'I think I'm just going to go to bed Daddy' Ally said pulling back.
'Ok if you need anything tell me' He said as Ally hugged all the NMs but me and thanked them for coming.
'Lets go James' She said pulling me over to the ladder to the Head's dorm, letting me go up first.
'You know Alls I don't think I've ever seen you cry before today' I said climbing through the door.
'I've never been much of a crier' She said smiling slighlty.
'Thank god for that' I said hugging her again.
'You're very huggy today' She remarked hugging me tightly.
'You where upset' I said.
'Yeah...thanks for everything today James you're a good friend' She said kissing me on the cheek and wondering up to her bed room.
'Yeah' I whispered 'Just a friend.'
Why did those words sting so much
Damn it.
I didn't just think Ally was hot.
I wanted her as mine.
