Severus Snape stood in front of the mirror. He stood and stared straight into it. He looked deep within it. From the very back of the mirror, he saw a small brightly colored picture form. He knew what it was. He knew what was coming, but he wanted to see.
Look at me when I'm talking to you,
Looking at me, but I'm looking through you.
I see the blood in your eyes,
I see the love in disguise.
I see the pain hidden in the pride,
I see you're not satifsfied.
And i dont see nobody else,
I see myself I'm looking at...
He squinted to see the small picture that was forming. After a few seconds, the picture bigger. He kept starring into the Mirror of Erised and then saw a beautiful women looking back at him. She had gorgeous red hair that swooped from behind her ears onto her shoulders. Snape looked into her eyes. How much he missed her...
Mirror on the wall,
Here we are again.
Through my rise and fall,
You've been my only friend
It was Lily, his Lily. He stared at her and looked into her piercing, forest green eyes. She smiled at him and looked deep into his dark brown eyes. Then he appeared in the picture as well. Snape saw himself with Lily. He was holding her. His arms were wrapped around her and she looked peaceful. She looked happy to be with him. He loved her, and she loved him.
You told me that they can't
Understand the man i am.
So why are we, here,
Talking to each other again?
Snape felt a tear fall from his eye as he saw himself in the mirror. He was now twirling Lily and dancing with her. They were both smiling and laughing together. Snape whipped away a few more tears that had trickled down his face. He saw them with his hand around her back and hers on his shoulder. They looked into each other’s eyes. Anyone could've seen his love for her. After dancing, they held hands and walked toward a giant tree. She lied down underneath it and patted the ground by her. Snape sat and looked at Lily. He smiled down at her and stroked her red hair. She grabbed his hand and pulled it down to her lips. She kissed his hand and he could almost feel the softness of them from the outside of the mirror. He lied down on his back then, his head right next to hers. They both looked up into the branches of the tree spread out above them. They saw the leaves fall around them, the green leaves matching Lily’s beautiful eyes.
I see the truth in your lies
I see nobody by your side.
But I'm with you when you're all alone,
And correct me when I'm looking wrong.
I see the guilt beneath the shame,
I see your soul through my window pane.
I see the scars that remain,
I see you, I'm looking at the
He looked into the mirror once more. The ending picture was Snape leaning in to kiss Lily’s soft lips. As the kiss ended, Snape faded from the picture. Lily turned to him once more and smiled one last time. She stared at him with her eyes of green, and then she too faded from the mirror. Snape collapsed into a series of sobs and cries for her. He was on his knees now, slowly pulling himself back together. He stood up sluggishly and read the engraving on the mirror which translated to, “I show not your face, but your heart’s desire.” Snape knew Lily was his soul mate. He knew she would be with him forever. He knew, she knew that they were supposed to be together. She still chose him over Snape. He could never be more mad, but forgiving; more
